Both are skilled warriors from an apocalyptic future Warriors from apocalyptic futures who traveled back in time to eliminate the threat that caused the events of their future to happen  in order to restore peace and balance to it

Both have taken on godlike entities (Goku Black and Iblis respectively) responsible for said apocalyptic future

Both have similar forms in which they have the color yellow (Super Saiyan and Silver Silver respectively)

Both would unfortunately lose one of their faithful companions (Future Bulma and Blaze the Cat respectively) before finding others to aid them in battle

Both gained something from their experiences in the past that helps them ultimately save the future
