Dear Father

I asked Lily out today and she agreed. After three years of crushing on her, she's finally my girlfriend. I'm taking her on a date tomorrow and if it sticks around, I'll bring her home someday.

I think you'll like her. Despite her being a little rebellious like she is, I'm sure she's good with talking to parents, or that's what Brandon told me. He's a good guy I've come to know.

Wish me luck though. I might get lucky tomorrow.
