So maybe it's a bit unusual for someone like DC to be that close to the states and have weekly meetings. 

He should be spending his time in Washington instead of being with the states. 

DC is a bit of a laughing stock back back in Washington because the other branches, senators, and Congressmen think he shouldn't care about state issues

It makes going back to Washington every week really difficult. It reminds him of being back at school and constantly bullied. 

IDC helps but she can't stop the whispers as DC walks down the hall and the passive-aggression 

He really doesn't like going back to Washington and tries to prevent it as much as possible
