'She said yes! She actually said yes to a person she just met!' Lukas grins to himself and sits on his bed. He pulls out a box and opens it. Inside are the treasures Jesse had left on his balcony. Two necklaces, one picture, three cards and a rose as red as blood. He picks up the rose and smells it. It still smells as if it was still alive and on the bush. He hears footsteps at his door and that is when he hides the box and lays down. 'Good night, Jesse.'

'I said yes! I can not believe I just told him yes! He is practically a total stranger!' Jesse leans against her door, blushing and smiling. Slowly, her smile disappears because she gets sucked back into reality. 'Why did I say yes?! I am a nightling! He is a dayling! I am going to be queen in one month and three weeks. What if I can't get over him? What would my people say?!' Jesse rubs her temples, knowing she is stressing too much. She starts to sit on her bed, when her mother, Luna, walks in. "Oh, Hello mother." Jesse says, with a annoyed tone. "Jesse, I wanted to see if you were alright. You've never missed a lesson until this week and this is the fifth lesson you have missed!" She exclaims. Jesse remains quiet. "Jesse, this is your last warning. If you miss another lesson, I'll have to lock you up in here."
"Don't you already do that?" Jesse rolls her eyes.
"You have no right to use that tone of voice with me."
"Yes I do. I am the princess of this kingdom after all." Jesse rolls her emerald eyes and sits on her bed.
"Honey, tell me whats wrong." Luna puts a hand on her shoulder but Jesse pushes her away.
"Just leave me alone so I can make the moon set."
"Jessica, I just want to help you." Luna says but when she gets no answer, she sighs and leaves. Jesse sighs and walks to the balcony that is attached to her room.

"Silver light.. She turned her face up to the starlit sky and on this night began to wonder why. She knew that soon the day would come." Jesse softly sings as she looks at the beautiful moon.
"Born to be an heir of beauty and serenity into this world she entered quietly. To her surprise she was the one." She could feel a flurry of emotions building up inside her and she lifts her right hand. The moon starts to sink down to the horizon very slowly.
"Destiny was close behind her. Phantom of borrowed life and the sea was a reminder mirror of given light." The princess closes her eyes.
"Then one day... The sign she'd waited for in skies of grey, traversed a winding road and came her way.She found the love she hoped she would." She sings and blinks back tears.
"But she knew that she had promises to stay true to the dormant daughter of the silver moon. Then all at once she understood." The moon sets and Jesse sits on her bed. Tears begin streaming down her cheeks.
"Destiny was close behind her. Phantom of borrowed life and the sea was a reminder mirror of given light." She sighs and looks at the ground.
"From the sky, she watched the life she'd known she would leave behind... Said goodbye and gave her people life through her sacrifice."

After the moon had been set and her song ended, Jesse looks at the sky. Not black or white but grey like clouds. 'gave her people life through her sacrifice.' That one line runs through her head. She knew that the song was sang the day she was born but she does not know the real meaning on it, yet. Jesse lets out a sigh and lays back. "Time for me to get some sleep... Not allowed to see the day." Jesse sighs and closes her eyes before drifting off into a slumber.
