Scars POV 

I heard a bunch of roars coming from outside of the den the loadest was my queen Autumns roar. The other roars I did not recognize. I got up and walked out to see a group of big cats surrounding Autumn. I roared at them but they just turned their heads toward me.

"Who are you and what are you doing here," I asked the large male lion in front.  He turned around and bared his teeth at me before starting.

"We are here to protect and defend the pride and the animals around it. Who are you." He asked me 

" I am the king of this pride. My name is Scar and that lioness you are surrounding is the queen Autumn. Now, do you know why I am so powerfull your leader should have told you? I would have expected." I asked him growling I couldn't trust them with my pride they should take a test just like Hollow did before he died.

" No Autumn did not tell us but you don't look very powerful what is your power the power of giving up."The lion mocked and sneered. I ran up to him my muzzle only about two inches away from his face. He backed away a little before stalking back up to me. I growled and bared my teeth. He did the same back to me.

"How dare you come into my kingdom and insult me and I have the power of the elders. If you are gonna be part of the guard you are gonna learn to respect me and my pride as well as the hyenas." I growled at him he turned around and looked down on my pride before looking back at me and then started growling/ roaring.

" What king are you letting hyenas in your pride." He then looked down at the cats and hyenas below. "Do you want to be united when you could be fighting against one another it would be more exciting that way." He growled then a low voice growled from down below.

"Who died and made you king." They growled. I looked down and saw one of the hyenas glaring at him. The strange lion was about to attack Coop but I leaped in front of him.

"Please just leave them alone I believe you are part of the guard now go do your job," I said. He glared at me for a moment before jumping down with the rest of his guard following.
