Marie's POV

It was five month ago when I last saw them. I missed them all and Dan was still all I could think about. I was currently at the pub with my friends for dinner, but I wasn't feeling well so I excused myself and went home. It wasn't far so I decided to walk. When I reached my loft the door was forced open. I took a deep breath, hoping it was just a usual thief but somehow knowing it was so much more. I took a step into my living room and saw him sitting on my couch. Relieve washed over me and excitement started to bubble inside me. I walked over to him and knelled down in front of him. He looked at me lovingly. “You came back.” I stated, before I realised that something bad must have happened otherwise he wouldn't have come back. He couldn't look into my eyes and instead fixed his eyes on our hands. “I'm so sorry, M.” I looked at his face, he looked hurt and sad. “What is wrong?” I stoke his knuckles with my thumb trying to calm him. “They know who you are, what you mean to me. It is only a matter of time until they find you.” I let out a deep breath I didn't know I was holding. I lifted up his chin so he was looking at me. “What will we do?” He smiled a little. “The guys want me to turn you, which might be your only chance, but I don't feel right doing it.” He looked away again. I understood he didn't want to be the one to hurt and kind of kill me. I turned his face again so he was looking at me. “Than one of the boys shall do it.” I kissed him before he could say anything against it. I pulled away, but just when he was about to say something again I kissed him again, making him smile. “I'm not allowed to say anything anymore?” He smiled. I shook my head.

Dan's POV

She was so cute, I couldn't help myself and kissed her again. The kiss was passionatley and hungry. I craved her, not her blood, but her touch and kisses. I wrapped her legs around my waist and pulled her closer. I deepened the kiss, when I placed one of my hands on the back of her head. I lifted her up and carried her into the bedroom, not breaking the kiss.

I woke up in pain, unknowingly I opened my eyes to be met by a bright light. The blinds! We forgot to close them yesterday evening. A scream left my mouth, waking Marie. She looked at me in horror before she jumped up and closed the blinds. Soon darkness engulfed us and I felt a lot more relaxed. Marie was quick next to me, looking scared. “Are you alright?” Her hands hovered over my burnt skin. “I'll be in a bit” I smiled at her. She relaxed and covered her body with the blanket, suddenly realising she was naked. I chuckled, before I sat up. My wounds were healed and I smiled at Marie. “Sorry I woke you” I scratched my neck. She scooted closer and placed her hand on my chest, where one was supposed to feel a heartbeat. “Don't worry about it.” I wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her closer. She layed her head on my chest.

We spend the day in bed, knowing this might be our last day spend in bed doing nothing. When the sun began to set, we got ready. Marie packed a few bags and we walked outside to her car. “Where are we going?” She asked while she closed the boot. “Do you mind me driving?” I scratched my neck. She smiled at me “Not at all. You know how bad I am with direction.” I chuckled before I grabbed the keys and got into the car.

We talked a lot during our ride to the guys. I told them to meet us in the forest, no one would get souspicious there. At least that's what I was hoping. I parked the car and we got out of the car. “Leave the bags in the boot we'll come back” She nodded before she jumped on my back.
