(Serena's P.O.V)                         Serena yelled Ash's name as he fled from the house she was about to chase after him when someone grabbed her arm. "Don't do it Serena" Misty said to her. "But..." she started to say when someone cut her off. "He is not worth it he is just a failure." Bonne said. "BUT I LOVE HIM!" Serena screamed and pulled away from Misty's grip and ran out the door after him. Serena thought that maybe Ash went to professor Oak's lab so she ran as fast as she could. When she got there she was out of breath she knocked on the door. A man opened the door he had gray hair and a white lab coat "Hello Serena, what can i do for you?" he asked. "Professor Oak is Ash here?" Serena asked desperately "No.. But I did see him run into the forest" Oak replied "Thank you." Serena said and ran into the forest to find Ash. Two hours past by without a trace of Ash. Serena was very worried it was starting to get dark. As she walked she found someone sitting on the forest floor starring into the forest beyond, his brown eyes were unfocused and sad. There was a pikachu sleeping peacefully next to him it woke up and lifted it's head and looked at Serena. "Pika" it said Ash looked at pikachu then turned to see Serena standing there looking at him. "What do you want?" he asked. "I want you to come back" she said "Back? Back to those traders? To hurt me more?" Serena didn't think about that. "I'm not going back Serena, they hurt me too much i can't go back..." he moaned with sadness. "What are you going to do now?" she asked him. "I don't know, probably live on my own.." he replied with a sigh. Serena thought for a moment to reply to convince him to stay "you could always stay with me in Kalos." she told him. He thought for a moment "i don't want to go back to Kalos it's the place that made me lose my so called friends and family when i lost the league." he sighed "I'm going to go now." he said he got up and put his hands in the pockets of his black jeans Pikachu jumped up onto his right shoulder then Ash started to walk away. "Wait! Let me come with you!" she said desperately she didn't want to lose her friend again like when they had to split up after summer camp. He stopped and turned around to face her "No it would probably be to dangerous" he said firmly walking away again. "But..." she couldn't get the words out. She thought 'I need to say it or else he might leave and i'll never get the chance to tell him my feelings' "Ash! I... I... I Love you!!!!" she yelled.
(Ash's P.O.V)
He stopped in his tracks rooted to the spot. He had feelings for her too but he thought 'I love her too but what if something happened to her?' he wanted her to be happy, safe he didn't want her to be uncomfortable and unhappy living on the streets with him and constantly moving from town to town and from region to region he didn't have any money either she couldn't travel around with him. He took a deep breath and responded "I don't have any feelings for you..." then he ran. It broke his heart to say that to her. (Serena's P.O.V.)                               She stared in the direction Ash ran she didn't want to believe what he had said. She started to cry and slowly sat down on the ground. Braixen, Pancham, and Sylveon came out of there pokeballs to comfort her. After a few minutes Serena decided to go back she returned everyone except Braixen so it can light the way. After 30 minutes they finally got out of the forest. She decided to go to professor Oak's lab and sleep there for the night. When she got there she knocked on the door.Professor oak answered "Oh hello again Serena" he said. "Hello Professor Oak may I sleep here tonight?" She asked him. "Ummm... Sure come on in." he replied she walked into the lab and went straight to bed and fell asleep moments later.
