Lisa's POV

"Try your best then."

This line was running around my head. How do I stop chaeyoung? For the past two years, I hid jennie from chaeyoung. I lied to chaeyoung for so many times because I never wanted her to hurt jennie. But what should I do now? Bestfriend or lover? Wtf am I even thinking!!?? Nothing is more important than chaeyoung. But jennie!!? I know jennie didn’t kill me. But chaeyoung will never believe it. She'll going to hurt jennie. But I'll save jennie at any cost.

*Flashback*

"Hey, stop" I heard someone's voice. But I didn’t care. I was still walking.

"Stop, lisa." The same voice took my name.

I looked back and saw jennie. I smiled looking at her. But she didn’t see my smile because I was wearing a black mask.

"Are you busy?" She asked but I didn’t reply.

"I know you don’t like to talk with anyone but you have to talk to me." She said with a pout.

God, why she is so cute!!! I thought in my mind.

"Thank you for saving me from hanbin that day." She smiled. I was still looking at her without saying a word.

"Why don't you talk? I'm getting annoyed." She yelled.

I got impressed. Because she was the only one who dared to yell at me. But I started walking again pretending to ignored her. But I froze when she grabbed my left hand.

"I'll not going to leave your hand until you say something." She insisted.

I was laughing secretly.

"If you don’t say a word then I'll going to hit you now." She pouted.

"For jisoo's chicken's sake, say something." She screamed.

"Who is jisoo?" I finally spoke.

She smiled showing her gummy smile.

"Jisoo is my bestfriend. Everytime she helps me. This time also. I took her name and you spoke to me." She smiled.

"Can we talk?" She asked still holding my left hand. I nodded.

She then dragged me to the garden of our school. We both sat on a bench.

"So tell me, why you always wear this black mask and this white cap?" She asked pointing her index finger at my face.

"I don’t like to show my face to anyone." I replied calmly.

"Why you’re so quite? Why don't you like to talk with anyone?" She asked in a soft voice.

I made my mind to tell her everything. So I started talking to her. And surprisingly I was comfortable with her.

"I was only 6 years old when my parents died. They died in front of my eyes and I couldn’t do anything. Actually they killed each other. I became alone. I was in Thailand then. I have a bestfriend name bambam. He brought me here. I started reading here in this school. I found chaeyoung here. She is also my bestfriend now. We three stay together. Korea was really a new place for me. But chaeyoung and bambam loves me so much. They support me so much. I wear masks because somehow I'm afraid of people. After seeing my parents. How they killed each other in front of me, my whole life has changed. I'm afraid to love someone. That's why I don’t like talking to anyone and don't like to show my face to anyone." I almost told her everything about myself.

Suddenly she hugged me. I was thinking what to do. I just hugged her back.

"All people are not same. If you want then you can talk to me. You can show me your face. I swear I'll never hurt you." She smiled.

*Flashback Ended*

"Huh...jennie, I'm not a human anymore. But I promise I'll save you at any cost." I mumbled to myself.

Third person's POV

Jisoo was in the bathroom to take a shower. When she came out from the bathroom she saw jennie was crying in her sleep. She was moving her hands and legs continuously. Her clothes were soaked with sweat. Jisoo immediately ran to jennie. She hold jennie's hands.

"Jen, wake up." She said calmly. "Jen, look at me. Hey...wake up jendeukie." Jisoo brushed jennie's hair.

Finally jennie opened her eyes. She sat on the bed and hugged jisoo tightly.

"Unnie, I had the same n..nightmare again." Jennie said in a tired voice.

"Calm down,jen. Everything will be okay." Jisoo tried to comfort jennie.

Jennie calmed down a bit. She was so tired.

"You took the medicines, right?" Jisoo asked.

Jennie nodded.

Jisoo then took her phone and called doctor park.

"Hello, doctor park. I'm kim jisoo."

"Hello, jisoo. What happened?"

"Jennie took the medicines today but It didn’t work. She had the same nightmare a few minutes ago."

"Bring her in my lab as soon as possible."

"Okay." Jisoo hang up the call.
