When Paarthurnax and Carl made it to the entrance of the headquarters they were met by an Espeon and Umbreon. "Greetings Paarthurnax, we've been waiting for you!" The Espeon flicked her tail in pleasure.

"What do you want Solstice?" Paarthurnax asked, landing in front of her.

"Oh nothing much, we just want to say that the Eevee Squad has this crime under control. No need for a bunch of Starters to take a more experienced team of crime fighters job. We'll have those Dark-hearted  criminals behind bars before you know it."

"What? We completely have this crime under control and you want to talk about experience... Well we have far more of it than the whole team of Eevees and Eeveelutions combined."

"Easy for you to say when you're headquarters are cramped with Starter Pokémon. There is an Umbreon involved in this mission and we have the right to stop this crime. How about you go back to finding Tudi? Apparently he's too hard for you to catch. You're only a bunch of Starters. You're not Advanced enough to catch a real dangerous criminal."

"Why are you talking, you only caught a few. We've caught a lot more than you!" Paarthurnax argued.

"Um... Paarthurnax... I don't mean to interrupt but my eye hurts..." Carl moaned.

"If you excuse me, I have an injured comrade to take care of and he needs assistance with our Pokénurses immediately." Paarthurnax sighed in annoyance.

"Sure... Maybe your Starters should be more careful next time... Come along, Equinox, we have some work to do. We're going to stop Ace before the Starter Squad does..."

"Uh... Solstice? Are you sure we should just be doing this... I mean there are tons of crimes, why do we have to go after the same one as the Starters."

"Because..... Equinox.. We are better than a bunch of lame Starters..."

"If you say so..." Equinox sighed.

                                                                           ***

Equinox and Solstice walked into a dark cave. "Where are we going, Solstice..." Equinox whispered.

"I caught the scent of the criminals in here..."

"Are you sure they're in here?"

"Yes... Just be quiet and follow me. Don't make a single sound..." Solstice answered.

Equinox slowly nodded.

"Good. Let's go..." Solstice said.

As they continued, they didn't know they were being watched.

"Intruders..." Grim thought to himself.

He rushed over to Ace without being noticed.

"We have intruders in our home, Ace."

"What?!" Ace growled. "Come on Grim. Let's take care of those idiots. They stepped into the wrong cave."
