Dash walked over to where Sam and Tucker were arguing. "It's your turn." Sam was whispering.

"No. My eyebrows are still singed from last time." Tucker snapped.

"What?" Dash asked they looked up at him then each other and shrugged.

"Who's gonna wake up Danny." Tucker said.

"Not a morning person?" Dash mused.

"Sam's not a morning person." Tucker explained. "Danny's just a demon to wake up."

"Should I try?" Dash offered. The friends shook their heads and began to argue again. Dash left them too it and went to see what the big deal was. Danny lay sleeping on the bed completely oblivious to Dash's presence. He then chucked a spare pillow on the boy who groaned and rolled over.

"G'way." He mumbled.

"Time to get up." Dash said.

"No."

"Well okay then but I guess I get your serve of pancakes." Dash smirked. Danny sat upright instantly.

"There are pancakes?" He asked. Dash laughed.

"No, but I bet if you asked there would be." He said shaking his head. Danny kicked his legs over the side of the bed and stood up "And your friends it'd be difficult to wake you up."

"They never promise pancakes." Danny said with a shrug. He went towards the door and then stopped and turned back. "How's your wrist?"

"Sore. But getting better." Dash admitted. Danny stepped closer.

"Let me see it? I know some pressure point tricks than could help." Danny offered. Dash took off his sling and held out his arms where Danny's oddly cool fingers brushed over the swollen appendage. Dash's cheeks warmed. 'Damn it Baxter, keep it together.' He thought. Pain drew his attention back to Danny who was currently pressing several points on his wrist. "This will hurt." He warned before pushing down hard on those points. The pain was almost unbearable but when it stopped Dash knew something had worked. He could almost feel the swelling going down already.

"Thanks!" He said with a genuine smile.

"Hey, what are friends for?" Danny said walking to a wardrobe and pulling on a hoodie. He slipped his hands into the pockets and seemed to shrink into the hoodie for a moment before straightening.

"You consider me a friend." Dash said hopefully. Danny spun around and leaned forward. Trying to read Dash's expression.

"Of course I do!" Danny huffed. "I wouldn't spill my heart out to you if I didn't."

"But I bullied you." Dash mumbled.

"And you stopped." Danny said obviously getting agitated.

"Before that-"

"Dying Obsession."

"Danny I've been a complete asshole to you! Can you at least hate me a bit?!" Dash yelled. His eyes widened as Danny's pissed expression.

"Why? Would it make you feel better about it all? Would you rather I hated you? Would you rather I told you never to speak to me again?" Danny said coldly. "Because if I tell you that I won't go back on it. I will never speak to you again. So. What do you want? Be clear." The room seemed to be freezing. Dash was honestly afraid of Danny right now.

"I..." Dash remembered Pandora's words. He couldn't tell Danny he had a crush on him... but he could take the first step. He lifted his chin and hardened his gaze. "I want to be friends." Instantly the room felt warmer. Danny was smiling and he grabbed Dash by the hand not noticing the jolt it gave Dash.

"Come on then, I want pancakes." Danny laughed. 'Damn.' Dash thought. 'That's all it took?'
---

"Alright, fine, I'll wake him." Sam said at last. At that moment the door to the main room opened and Danny strode in dragging Dash behind him.

"I want..." Danny paused for dramatic effect and raised his hand. "Pancakes!" This made almost everyone laugh. Sam ran over to a very shell shocked looking Dash.

"Are you hurt?" She asked. "We told you not too."

"I'm not hurt." Dash said slowly. "I'm... dazed. We had a bit of a-"

"Heart to heart." Danny said suddenly spinning around and letting Dash's hand go. "We talked out somethings. All very boring and not pancake related. Come on people I want that circular smooth sweetness." He clapped his hands. After Danny had gone off to rally the troops for dire pancake needs Dash started to laugh.

"Is that kid an angel or did I hit my head?" He said. Sam looked at Dash silently noting the way Dash's eyes followed Danny.

"You like him." She said. Dash stiffened.

"Am I that obvious?"

"Not to him but yeah."

"You like him too right?"

"I like him as a brother. I've been through my feelings thoroughly to know that. But if you choose to pursue a relationship with Danny I'll be the first to beat your ass if you hurt him."

"I get the feeling there's a long line of people who'll beat my ass if I did."

"Damn straight." Sam said. "That having been said..." she slapped him on the back and grinned. "Good luck getting him to notice."

Valerie couldn't believe it. If someone told her last week that she'd be making pancakes with a bunch of ghosts and be having fun doing it she'd had laughed at them. But here she was smiling as Dani poured choc-chips into the batter. That was when Danny zoomed past with a plate over his head. "Banana!" He screeched stopping at his bowl and pouring chunks of banana into it.

"Those were my Bananas, Sparky!" Ember yelled.

"Snooze you lose, pop-princess." Danny hollered. Valerie found herself laughing along side everyone else. Why had all the popular kids ever picked on him. Sure he was a goofball but he was the cutest darn goofball she'd ever met.

(Damn... who else if thirsty for Danny?)

Vlad was smiling, his eyes trained completely on the raven haired child.

(Oh...)

He stood up and strolled over, well floated, placing his hand on Danny's shoulder. It had been made clear that his interest had switched from Maddie to Desiree when in the middle of a fight he proclaimed his everlasting love for the her, but he still wanted Danny to see him as more as than that guy who tried to kill his dad a few times. Danny didn't return those feelings but that didn't mean Vlad would give up. He also. Picked up a bad habit of flirting with Danny. Sexual jokes were his Forte.

"If you like banana so much I could give you a ripe one." He said coolly, not caring about the gasps and whispers of 'gay ghost' floating around. Danny slapped Vlad's hand making the older Halfa let go. Desiree huffed at her lovers blatant disregard for her presence but knew he was only have, admittedly inappropriate, fun.

"No, bad Vlad." Danny said turning and flicking his nose. Vlad grinned.

"You're so cute when your disciplinary." He breathed. Danny tilted his head slightly.

"Do you need a drink?" He asked.

"I don't-"

"Because you are DAMN thirsty."

Vlad hung his head in shame. "I know..."

"Pedo-bait." Ember called making Danny scowl.

"Vlad go to the predator corner." He ordered.

"B-but..." Danny simply pointed and the older male sighed and floated to a corner with the title predator corner.

"The heck." Valerie laughed.

"What can I say?" Danny sighed flipping non-existent long hair over his shoulder. "I'm so pretty."

"It doesn't bother you?" She asked.

"As long as he's not hitting on my mum, cheating on Desiree and trying to take over he world I can handle it. Besides he doesn't mean it." Danny answered.

"Danny. Don't take this as... insulting. But are you... into guys?" She asked.

"I dunno. I'm curious." Danny admitted. "But I like girls too."

"So your Bi..."

"I dunno."

"Your a strange boy you know?"

"I dunno."

"Pancakes!" Dani cried holding out a plate. Danny's face lit up with joy.

"Banana?" He asked.

"Banana." She confirmed. Danny grabbed the plate and held it up.

"Banana!" He cried.

Once pancakes had been consumed everyone helped clean up and Danny spoke with Dorathea about transport.

"Tomorrow at noon. The carriage will be able to hold all of you." She confirmed. "It will get you to your parents portal by night fall."

"Thanks Dora." He said cheerfully. Pancakes were definantly the best way to start the day.

"Sparky!" Ember called flying over. She grabbed Danny and phased them out of earshot of everyone else.

"Nice pop-princess, I was talking to Dora." Danny sighed smoothing the wrinkles on his hoodie.

"Skulker is on his way. He demands to see the prince." She said quickly. Danny groaned. "There's no getting out of it he's almost here."

Danny transformed into Phantom, the blazing green crown floating above his head and the sword on his hip.

"Bring it on." He sighed.
