Rachel:

I hear the gliding of a metal chair moving along the cold, hard concrete floor. The only problem is that it isn't mine. I open my eyes trying to see it Damen has been generous enough to take the bag off that was around my head.

I figit with my hands that are suprisingly not bound to the chair. I immediately bring my hands up to pull the bag off my head, expecting a slap or punishment of some way, I am able to take it off. I sigh in relief that I am finally able to see where I am.

I look around, trying to find out where the chair scraping on the ground was coming from. As I turn my head towards the back of the room, I see a black figure wearing a dark cloak and hoodie.

I clear my throat trying to get his attention. His head slowly rises until his gleaming molten silver eyes starr at me. I feel like I am being shredded only from the look in his eyes, they are just so fierce and powerful. I realize then that this man is powerful but he isn't a Alpha I know so he must either be knew or was never noticed becore now.

"Hello?" I ask quietly, so quietly that I am not sure whether he heard me but clearly he did becuase a slight smirk arises on his features.

"Hello," his deep voice makes me cringe, his steely eyes locked with mine, I suddenly feel like I can't move or talk. I feel like I am paralyzed, not being able to do anything as he slowly, meaningfully stands from his chair.

As he gets up from his chair it rakes along the floor sounding like fingernails on a blackboard.

"Please don't kill me....." I murmer under my breath, suddenly finding my voice but only to say a few words without feeling like I am paralyzed again.

He chuckles deeply almost making sound like a growl. I have never met or seen someone so mysterious or have such a deep voice before, it's weird.

"Mind what you say daling..." the man growls at the end.

My eyes widen and my face pales when I realize that he can read my mind, he is a mind reader. Think of chicken nuggets I say in my head. Chicken Nuggets, chicken nuggets, CHICKEN NUGGETS.

The man chuckles again, clearly reading my mind.

"You must either really love chicken nuggets or you are trying to hide something." His voice darkens at his last words.

"What?! Pffft! No I'm not...I just really love chicken nuggets!" I yelp as his eyes turn a darker silver, turning Into grey instead of his steely silver eyes. I awkwardly give a single 'Haha' as I finish the sentence.

Just at the moment the man advances on me quickly, the door swings open and slams rather loudly onto the wall beside it making me jump in suprise.

"Come, come now. No need for violence," the man says from the doorway. Once I have seen that the hooded figure wasn't going to advance on me any further, I turn my head to look at who just practically saved my life. I mean, this nutcase could've killed me.

I hear the hooded man growl from behind me. Crap, I forgot that he can read my mind.

Cam stands beside the door, leaning against the door frame.

I leap up excitedly and bound over the Cam, wrapping my arms around the small of his back, sqeezing him tight.

"You can for me!!" I squeal into his shirt, breathing in his intoxicating, exotic scent.

Cam manages to pry me off and gently push me towards the exit, as I stumble away from him and towards the exit, I see all the other alphas guarding the other doors. A look of determination on each every one of their faces.

As I reach outside, I am at first blinded by the sudden bright light from the sun. I turn around to see if anyone else is following me outside only to see Cam being flung across the hallway and slamming into the hallway wall with a sickening crack. My eyes widen in shock.

"NOOOO!!!" I scream at the top of my lungs. As I say this, I see the hooded figure stalk out of the room I was locked in and walk purposefully towards me. The other alphas pounce on him only to be slammed away and against the wall. I realize then that I have to run, get as far away from here as I can begore the hooded figure comes at me agian,Only this time I won't be able to be saved by anyone.

I spin on my heels quickly and rush off towards the main entrance hoping to God that there isn't any guards standing there.

I bolt across the driveway and across the patch of lush green grass towards the large, intimidating gates. I turn my head to the side to see if anyone was following me.

Bad decision because the moment I turn my head, the Hooded figure strips his coat off giving me a glimpse of his ripped, perfectly sculted muscles underneath. He notices me, his steely eyes flash in recognition and anger, a fierce anger I have never seen someone have before as his comes rapidly fast towards me with an inhuman speed.

I turn back around and with the adrenaline pumping through me, I seem to go faster and out of the gates, running into the woods beyond.

I keep on running, slamming my feet against the soft earth underneath me as I leap over fallen branches and thistle plants. I can still hear the strong, loud footsteps of the man, still pursuing me at the same, maybe even faster speed. I don't stop and I won't stop, not until I know I am safe.

As we enter a denser part of the woods, I turn a sharp corner, hoping to lose the man. It turns out that I did as I slow down, my feet becoming quieter against the soil underneath me. I come to a stop behind a large pine tree as I take in shaky, but hopefully quiet breaths, trying to calm down.

"You can run, but you can't hide darling..." the mans voice ecoes throughout the woods, rebounding off the surrounding treetrunks. I hear his deep chuckle from even closer to me making my heart stop in fright.

I turn around and start silentlt scaling the tree nearest to me. As I climb, I hear a twig snap from not too far off. I immediately start to climb faster up the tree. The man isn't even trying to be quiet anymore as I hear twigs and branches closer to me snap.

I finally find a suitable branch for me to stop on and keep an eye out for where the man might potentionally be. I let out a quiet sigh in relief as I finally get to rest my sore legs.

"Like I said, you can't hide darling. You do know that I can smell your scent right?" The man says quietly chuckling at the end. I realize that he is right, that he can smell my scent. I look down below me to see the top of the man's head, realizing that he has dark brown hair with a tint of blonde in the sunlight. I gasp and just as I do it, I place my hand over my mouth realizing I had just made a massive mistake.

He chuckles lowly as he slowly turns his head towards me, looking up into the tree. This causes him to smile, a wide, playful smile as he sees me.

"Well hello there! Why don't you come down and save me the struggle of having to-" I cut him off by pegging a large, sharp pointed stick at him hitting him square in the forehead.

"You little bitch," she says under his breath, giving me a glare as he looks at me with his growingly darkening gaze. Crap, I should have seriously thought about that before throwing the stick.

A small trickle of bright red blood drips down his forehead and down to the end of his nose. He raises his hand to feel the damage, growling lowly as he brings his hand back down to his eyesight covered in bright blood.

He looks back up at me baring his teeth at me in the process. Instantly he starts scaling the tree with a rapid pace.

I scream at the top of my lungs and start searching for a way off of this branch, coming to only one conclusion, jumping. I take a deep breath as I weakly stand up on the branch and leap down remebering to bend my knees when landing and going into a commando roll before quickly coming to my feet again.

I start running in the other direction, towards I hope to Cam's mansion where he will surely have someone keeping an eye out for me. Even just thinking of Cam and what happened in that corridor makes me feel sick to the stomach as I run, not really a good idea to do I suppose.

As I near the end of the woods, I risk a glance behind me only to see the glorious man and everyone of his muscles moving strongly as he was racing after me, pushing large branches and bushes out of his way as he trudged rapidly through the woods.I run upto the gates to Cam's estate where many guards finally notice me and quickly open the gate, allowing me to bolt in. As soon as I am inside the gates, they slam the gates shut and lock the gate.

"I will find you again you little feral and I will get my revenge." The mans bellows to me as he runs upto the gate, wrapping his hands against the bars. He turns around and runs back into the woods.

Cam:

I slowly wake up but get hammered back down by the immense pain I suddenly feel. I fall back against the wall, letting the coolness of it sooth the pain. I hear a groan of pain next to me and I turn my head.

I see all the other Alpahas; Alex, Riley and Derek all on the floor bleeding in some way from the ferociousness of which that is Fletcher, the most feared wolf in all of history.

I try to sit up again only to groan in the stabbing pain. I clutch my neck and where he must have slammed me against the wall.

"Try not to move Cameron, it will inly make your condition worse," Alpha Riley says painfully from beside me.

"Where's Rachel? Did she get out?" I start to stress as I think for why we came here in the first place. I can see Riley's darken in fear and anger.

"Yes she did, we managed to keep Fletcher occupied for a couple of seconds, letting Rachel get away but he was just too powerful," Riley sounds disheartening by this.

I manage to finally get up and help the others to also get to their feet.

"We need to go back to my mansion, that is where she would've gone if she escaped Fletcher." I say, finally coming up with something that might be reasonable.
