Eloise

"A park?" I furrowed my eyebrows as I got out of the car, placing my hand in top of the opened door. This was, honestly, the last place I thought he'd take me.

"Don't sound so disappointed," he teased with a sly grin.

"I'm not," I laughed as I closed the door of his car to walk towards him. "I'm just surprised," I clarified with a shrug, before taking his hand in mine. It was the first time I initiated the hand holding, which seemed to catch him by surprise as he took a visible gulp. But, in an instant, he tightened his grip on my frail hands and smiled down at me.

"Well," Taehyung cleared his throat, "I'm full of surprises." He winked, before guiding me towards the park in front of us.

My hair seemed to have a mind of its own as it flew in every possible direction, annoying the living hell out of me. I huffed, letting go of his hand to attend to my untamed hair. At the release of his hand, he stopped walking at once to glance back at me, before snickering at the sight. I stuck my tongue out at him at that as I attempted to gather all my hair up into a ponytail.

"Need help, angel?" he asked, taking a step closer to me. Before I could decline his offer and tell him that this is a common occurrence, especially with long hair, his hands combed my hair back. He gently stroked my cheeks, before combing my hair away from my face.

I stopped all movement, looking up at him with my mouth slightly agape. His eyes seemed so gentle as he continued to help with my hair, it was the first time I could clearly admire his face without any tension. And he was such a sight for sore eyes.

His eyes trailed all over my face with a slight curve of his lips, taking in my awestruck expression. I slowly snapped out of my short trance and started to comb my hair back into a ponytail with the help of Taehyung. His hands stroke my cheeks once more as he looked down at me intently, before dropping his hands to his side all together.

"Come on," he whispered as he eyed me warily, almost hesitantly. My eyes remained trained on his as I nodded, before glancing down to his outstretched hand.

I gingerly intertwined my fingers with his and let him lead the way to wherever he'd want to take me. "Where to?"

"Almost there, angel," he announced with a small smile. We were getting closer to the park until he made a sharp turn to my right, making me stumble a bit in place. "Sorry," he mumbled but his eyes were trained on the ally we were now in.

"Um, Taehyung." I looked up at him uneasily. "Nothing good ever happens in allies," I murmured, subconsciously tightening my grip on his hand.

Taehyung stopped abruptly and looked over at me with amusement dancing in his irises. "I wouldn't put you in harm's way, angel." His hand rubbed circles in the back of my hand. "Trust me, it's worth it." He winked and started walking again, pulling me with him.

I nodded to myself and carefully took in my surroundings for any possible exit, just in case. The only exit was the one we came in from.

"We're here, Eloise," I heard him murmur from beside me. I slowly tore my gaze away from the exit and looked up at what he was looking it.

The walls were all covered in graffiti. It seemed like each art piece was one, like they were all a part of the same story. "Woah," I blurted with a puff of air.

"Do you like it?" He questioned from beside me.

"Taehyung, this is amazing," I let out, bringing my hand up to cover my mouth. "I've never seen anything like it around here. I love how it all blends together and how the art itself tells its own story without it needing a written message to accompany it," I exclaimed, in awe at what I was seeing. This art was undoubtedly different from what they displayed in the museum. It was street art— messy, controversial, compelling, alluring, but art nonetheless.

"That's the point," he simply answered as he walked closer to me. "Art should have the ability to speak for itself, don't over analyze it, just enjoy it."

I looked over at him and how he intently analyzed the art on the wall. His eyes gleamed as a smile slowly outstretched on his face. I turned back to the graffiti that decorated the walls in this ally and smiled to myself. "You know, you're a great artist, Taehyung."

He quickly whipped his head to me with wide eyes and let out a nervous chuckle. "I- it wasn't me."

I looked over at him again, to see a slight frown decorating his enticing features. I shook my head and looked up at him until our eyes met. "Don't worry, I'll keep your secret," I winked, making him slump his once tense shoulders and letting out a small smile. Definitely a sight for sore eyes.
