Chapter Four:Poisoned
Axel's p.o.v
Me and my angel was talking with our friends and I grab roxas's hand across the table he smiles over to me oh how much he looked beautiful tonight I mean he always looks beautiful to me everything about him just makes him beautiful from the inside out I look behind roxas to see everyone dancing and having a good time until I see someone I thought I would ever see again my mother my face must had changed until my angel breaks my concentration and asks "axel you ok?"

I avoid eye contact I stand up and roxas looks behind him and he says "lilith" I gasp and say "hello mother" she smiles at me and leon steps in front of me I touch his shoulder and she says "hello my son" I put on a smile more like a fake smile and say "mother this is my little demon roxas" he smiles up at me my hand never leaving his and she replies "looks like my son has taken a liking to a angel" he stands up and grips my hand and he replies "looks like a angel has taken a liking to your son" I smile down at him I wrap a hand around his waist and I whisper "I'll explain later ok?"

he smiles up at me and winks I laugh and I reply "he's not a angel anymore mother" roxas hides his face into my shirt I laugh and my mother says "son would you mind dancing with your mother?" I look down at roxas he nodds and my mother says "it'll just be a minute darling" roxas smiles at me and I kiss him on the forehead and me and my bitch of a mother go on the dance floor and start dancing and I say "look mother I know the only reason your here is because you want my throne well your gonna have to pry from my cold dead hands" she grins evilly at me and replies "oh axel your so much like your father weak this realm needs a ruller not a child"

I growl under my breath and I reply "and who do you think is gonna be a better ruller than me? do you see anybody because I don't this realm is mine mother get used to it I'm not giving it up" she cackles and says "well then if you won't give it up then I'll take what you have shall we say your little angel? I quite like him" I growl how dare she use roxas to get to me "if you come near my angel I will end you" she giggles evilly whats with her little giggle she's just pure evil how can she be my mother when I'm nothing like her "then give me the throne and I won't hurt your angel" I growl and look away from her I can't believe she is blackmailing me she will not have this throne I refuse to let her have it and she won't hurt my little angel if looks could kill she'd be dead by now "mind if I cut in?" I look to see roxas standing next to me.

Roxas's p.o.v
I look on the dancefloor and it looks like axel is getting angrier and angrier by the minute I walk towards them and I say "mind if I cut in?" axel meets my gaze he smiles at me and his mother says "oh no darling he's all yours axel you got yourself a keeper and I love your costume roxas it looks good on you" I don't look at her and I reply "thank you that means alot" she walks away and I place my hand on his shoulder his hand wraps around my waist and I say "take a deep breath she's gone" he inhales and exhales I smile at him and I ask "everything ok?" he shakes his head and he replies "she wants the throne still she used you to get to me" I scoff and roll my eyes "what did she say?"

he looks around the room and speaks very low "she said if I didn't give her the throne she would hurt you" I probably went white as a piece of cotton and axel's hand tightens around my waist "don't worry angel she's not gonna hurt you she'd have to get through me" my nerves had been settled alittle bit and I relaxed under his touch I lay my head on his chest he kisses my forehead and I whisper "why didn't you tell me lilith was your mother? you said she didn't exist" he breathes deeply and whispers back where only I could hear "she's never been my mother if she was any kind of mother she wouldn't try to take away the people I love"

I nodd understanding completely "its gonna be ok angel I promise" after we stop dancing we join everyone in the dining room and I sit next to axel he was at the head of the table and I was next to him on the side now in front of me was leon next to me was zexion demyx was next to him and everyone brought out the food and they give us our wine and just as we was about to drink axel took a big gulp and then we started to eat and then I see axels face go white and he started choking and I grab his hand and I say "axel whats wrong?"

I shout "dad help" cloud jumps up leon too axel falls to the ground and I hear alot of people gasp I lay axels head on my lap and cloud starts touching axels stomach and leon jumps to the table and smells his food and then he smells the wine and leon says "the king was poisoned" everyone gasps and cloud says "we need to cure it" I try thinking for a minute and I say "demyx go to the flower room and bring me back a lotus flower hurry" demyx jumps up and runs up the stairs and he brings one back and I tell zexion to get some water and I say "axel its ok" he keeps coughing blood coming out of his mouth he was turning purple now and I say "zexion hurry please"

he brings back a wine glass and demyx hands me the flower I drop the white flower petals inside the glass and as it drops they disapear and I say a chant to myself and when all the lotus flowers had disapeared I poured it into axels mouth he started getting back his color his head still in my lap and cloud asks "how did you know to do that?" I smile to my dad and reply "its an old white magic spell I read about the lotus flower is a healing flower" cloud nodds and smiles and then I hear a gasp and I say "axel you ok?" he raises up and looks to cloud and then cloud shakes his head and points to me he turns around and see's me and smiles he wipes the bloods off his mouth and he asks "did you heal me?"

I smile and nodd and reply "its an old white magic spell" he laughs and I hug him and start crying into his shoulder he wraps his arms around me and we stand up and axel says "my future queen just healed me now I'm not gonna point fingers but if you know who did this to me come forward" he almost falls to the ground I grab him by the waist and I say "you need rest demyx will you take him to our room I'll be there shortly" demyx nodds and wraps a hand around him and when they leave I say "ok lilith may I speak with you?" she stands up from her chair and I look to my dad and I do my head telling him to follow me he nodds and walks with us and when we step to the side outside in the hall and I ask "ok I didn't wanna say this in front of the crowd I know you did it you want the throne and will do whatever it takes to get it well this stops now you would even kill your own son for a throne what kind of mother are you?"

she giggles and twirls her hair around her finger and replies "well looks like the little angel has put on his big boy pants" I growl as she keeps talking "you don't intimidate me little angel" I laugh and cross my arms "well at least we got to see your true colors tonight stay away from axel and me and our family don't come back to this realm lilith if you do It'll be my pleasure throwing you into purgatory and I will not hesistate and while you are down in purgatory I'll be up here enjoying my the life I have with the person I love while your down there being raped senseless and trust me they won't let you be the top its either bottom or bottom"

cloud giggles as she walks off I grin I think she got the point "think she'll be back?" my dad shruggs and says "nice responses though and when you said she would be the bottom its either bottom or bottom I thought that was good" I laugh and we walk out to the dining room and see half a percentage was gone I look to everyone and say "ok guys sorry for the inconvenience the problem was solved and now you can eat but don't drink the wine uh zexion can you help me fix the cranapple juice for them?"

he nodds and a man with dreds walks up and he was a servant of ours and he says "don't worry about it roxas we got it" I smile and reply "thank you xaldin" he nodds and he walks out a few minutes later with the cranberry juice and cloud says "go check on axel we got this" I nodd as I start to walk towards our room and I open the door to see demyx in a chair next to our bed axel laying down and I smile as his gaze meets mine and I say "how you feeling?" he smiles as he pats the bed I sit next to him and grab his hand "I feel alittle bit better" I nodd to demyx and he says "I'll just leave you two alone I'll be outside if you need me"

we nodd and when he closes the door behind him he asks "did you take care of my mother?" I giggle how did he know I nodd and say "she won't be bothering us anytime soon I think I set her straight" he smiles and asks "what did you say to her?" I laugh and rub the back of my head "you don't wanna know" he laughs and rolls his eyes "seriously what did you say?" I smile and sit in the chair demyx was sitting in still have ahold of his hand "I told her I didn't wanna say this in front of the crowd I know you did it you want the throne and will do whatever it takes to get it well this stops now you would even kill your own son for a throne what kind of mother are you? and me and dad took her into the hallway and told her she needed to leave and leave now and I said a few other stuff something about purgatory and rape"

he covers his face with his hands and laughs and I laugh as I crawl next to him and he wraps his arm around my waist and I say "god that scared me" he kisses my forehead and replies "I'll never let anyone hurt you angel ever" I smile as I bury my head into his chest "and I'll never let anyone hurt you" I smile into his chest "I love you my little angel" I smile everytime he tells me that I feel like I'm flying "I love you more" he giggles as my hands wrap around his waist "I love you most".
