Chapter Four

Thanks to Nikki_crystal for the amazing cover!

"Wow! Only the second day of school and there's been so much of drama already." Ashley said sitting on my bed with a bowl of popcorn in her hand.

"Tell me about. Imagine what the rest of the year has in store for me." I said grimly.

"So how's things with you and Jessie coming along?" I winked.

"Actually really great! He's so sweet and amazing." She said dreamily.

"Ew so mushy." I scrunched my face.

"Such a hater." She stuck a tongue at me.

"Childish much?"

"Rather childish than broody." She said smugly.

"Ha ha, hilarious." I said sarcastically.

"Hey I gotta get going, my mom is looking for me." Ashley said looking at a text, which I assumed was from her mom.

"Okay see you tomorrow."

"Bye."

Ashley came to my house not long after I came back, I actually felt good talking to her, she completely understood everything.

****

I was watching Supernatural when someone knocked on my door.

I paused and yelled for either Gloria or Michael to come in.

"Hey sis!" Michael greeted.

"Okay what do you want?" I asked annoyed.

"Are you free Friday night?" He asked, sitting on my bed.

"Hmm I think so...why?"

"Because I've postponed the dinner with Jessica for Friday."

"Oh okay, I'll be home then." I smiled.

"Cool. Goodnight." He grinned and walked out.

****

It was already Friday and I was on my way home.

The last few days have been thankfully uneventful with no drama. Just piles of homework and me failing in math.

I got home and walked to the living room, Michael was sitting on the couch, texting on his phone.

"You're back early today." I said, surprised.

"Yeah I decided to leave early, I had a little work to do." Michael owned his own business so he was the boss and could pretty much do as he pleaded.

"Excited for dinner?" I teased.

He chuckled at me at."That reminds me, you can call a friend to join us tonight if you want." He smiled.

"Great! At least I don't have to suffer alone with your cheesiness." I joked.

"As long as it's not one of your stoner friends it's cool." He said seriously.

"I do not have any stoner friends!" I glowered at him.

"Calm down, I'm only kidding." He laughed.

"Jerk!" I muttered.

"So Jessica will be here at six, so I suggest you go call which ever friend you want over and start to get ready. Oh, and please wear like a dress or skirt, something different from your typical 'bad girl' look." He said.

"Fine, I'll dress 'like a girl." I complained and walked up to my room.

I sat on my bed and decided to call Ashley to join us for dinner tonight.

"Hey Victoria." She greeted cheerfully.

"So remember when I said my brother called over his dumb bimbo for dinner tonight? Well he said I could call a friend so you can get your ass here at 6." I told her.

"Typical you to not even bother to say hello." I could picture my best friend rolling her eyes.

"So I'll see you at six?" I asked ignoring her first statement.

"Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it, my mom's sister from England is coming over so my mom wants me home." She said sympathetically.

"Oh okay, it's fine." I said a little disappointed.

"I'm really sorry, Victoria." She said sincerely.

"Don't worry about it, I have other friends you know." I teased her.

"Yeah but you love me the most." She said smugly.

"Sure thing, darling. Anyway, I gotta go. Enjoy your time with your aunt."

"I most definitely won't." She scoffed.

I laughed."Bye."

"Bye." She said back and ended the call.

I looked through my contacts deciding who to call. I landed on Gerald's name and hit the call button.

"Hey sexy." He greeted and I could hear the smirk in his voice.

I rolled my eyes, not that he could see.

"What are you doing tonight?"

"Well hello to you too." He said sarcastically.

"Oh just answer the damn question!" I demanded.

"I'm not sure. Why? Do you wanna pay a visit to my bed?" He teased.

"Eww you wish!" I rolled my eyes.

"I could pay a visit to yours too, but I'd leave with no head because of your crazy brother."

"Well are you going anywhere tonight, yes or no?" I asked getting impatient.

"Like I said, I don't know. If you wanna do something though I'll cancel whatever pops up."

I bit my lip,"Well, remember about about that stupid dinner with Michael's bitch?"

"Yep, wasn't that tonight?"

"Yes, so Michael said that I could invite a friend and unfortunately Ashley was busy so you were my second option." I said casually.

"Ouch! I'm your second option?!" He said feigning hurt.

"Stop being an idiot!!" I said irritably.

"So are you coming or not?" I looked at the time and seen it was already 5:15pm.

"Yeah I'll be there before 6."

"Okay." I said and cut the call.

Honestly, I was a little disappointed that Ashley wouldn't be able to come, after all she was my best friend and we understood each other.

I walked over to my walk in closet and looked for something to wear. I honestly had very few 'good girl' clothes.

I decided to wear a black cropped top with my peach, tight skirt. I paired it with my white, high heel pumps. Yes I didn't only own black, you know.

I did my hair and makeup,I was done and it was almost 6.

I walked downstairs to the kitchen to see what Gloria had made.

I walked into the kitchen and spotted Gloria mixing some stuff in a bowl.

"Hey Glo, what's on the menu tonight?" I asked, leaning on the counter.

"For starters, I prepared pork dumplings, for main course is Lasagna and for desert I am making chocolate mousse cake." She smiled.

"Ooh sounds good." I winked.

Ding! The doorbell buzzed.

"Victoria get the door!" Michael yelled.

"Fine!" I yelled back!

I opened the door and was greeted by a beaming Gerald.

"Hey Victoria." He greeted and walked in.

"You look nice." I complimented. He wore a black cardigan with a collared white shirt on the inside with black pants.

"You're one to say that. You look extremely beautiful tonight." He said and wrapped him arms around my waist and kissed my forehead.

"No, I look like a fucking pixie!" I scowled.

"I think you look beautiful." He said pulling me towards him.

I heard someone clear their throat and turned to see Michael standing there.

"I thought it was Jessica at the door." He said looking at Gerald and I.

"No it was Gerald." I said and stepped away from him.

Gerald walked over and shook Michael's hand.

"Good to see you look like a decent girl, Victoria." Michael grinned after greeting Gerald.

"Thanks for the insult." I shot back.

"Touché." He commented just as the door buzzed again.

"That will be Jessica, I'll get the door."

Gerald walked over to me and whispered,

"Looks like the devil is here."

I laughed at his statement, agreeing with him.

Jessica walked through the door. She was pretty short, with long blonde hair and what looked like a fake tan. She had brown eyes and wore a bright pink flare dress that reached above her knees. She was pretty but who knows what she looked like without her caked on makeup.

She walked towards me and leaned in for a hug.

"Hi I'm Jessica, nice to meet you Victoria." I awkwardly put one arm around her in an attempt to hug her back.

"Hi, nice to meet you too, I guess." I said pulling away.

"And who is this lovely young man?" She asked walking towards Gerald.

I subconsciously walked next to him and wrapped my fingers around his possessively.

"This is Gerald, a very close friend of mine." I said coolly as she checked him out. I thought she loved Michael?

"Hi, nice to meet you." He extended his hand for a handshake, his other hand still holding mine tightly. Yeah, bitch he's mine, so stop flirting with him.

"Likewise, handsome." She winked. I scowled at her flirty attitude. How could she flirt with another guy right in front of Michael?

"Come on, babe how about I show you around the house then we can meet the others at the dining room for dinner?" Michael said.

"I would love to." She winked at Gerald as she followed Michael. Seriously, how stupid was he?

"What a flirt." Gerald remarked as we made our way to the dining room.

"I know right, she couldn't get her eyes off of you." I said sourly.

I sat down at my usual seat at the dining table, which was next to the head of the table. Gerald sat to my right.

"Is someone jealous?" He smirked at me.

"Please, you wish." I snorted.

"It's not my fault I'm irresistible, babe." He winked.

"But like seriously, she openly flirted with another guy in front of Michael and he did nothing? How much more stupid could he possibly get!" I said annoyed.

"You know what they say, love is blind."

"Sure." I scoffed.

"And just so you know, if you even dare flirt back with her I will cut your dick off." I threatened.

"It's too big, babe." He winked.

"Eww, that's disgusting." I wrinkled my nose.

He laughed at my expression and I just scowled at him.

For a moment he just stopped and started at me, normally in a situation like this I'd be extremely awkward but i was the furthest from awkward. He leaned closer to me, our lips mere inches away. I could hear Michael approaching and instantly moved away and cleared my throat.

"You can take a seat while I call Gloria to serve dinner." Michael smile at Slu- I mean Jessica and walked towards the kitchen. Bitch-face sat opposite me. Great! I thought bitterly.

I guess my bitterness was showing because of what happened next,

"Aww, why such a bitter face? Is all the boys at school not satisfying you well enough in bed?" She smirked.

"Excuse me?!" I said taken aback.

"You know exactly what I mean."

"Are you indirectly saying she's a slut?!" Gerald asked abruptly.

I could feel anger building up inside of me, but I suppressed it. I looked at Gerald and seen him tensing up, his jaw was clenched.

"You know, if the shoe fits wear it." Jessica shrugged.

I looked at Gerald who looked like he was about to explode. I quickly grabbed his hand and said quietly to him,

"Gerald, just let it go. She's not worth it, okay? Please, for my sake?" I begged, really not wanting to have another fight with my brother. I've had one too many of those.

"Fine." He murmured, still looking pissed. I squeezed his hand, while he stroked mine. It seemed to be calming him down.

"Gloria will be here soon!" Michael said, taking a seat at the head of the table.

"Finally." I muttered under my breath.

"So what were you guys speaking about when I was gone?" Michael asked while Gloria brought out all the food.

"I was just getting to know Victoria, she's such a sweetheart." She smiled sweetly at me. What a two faced bitch!

Gerald scoffed and I turned to look and him and seen that he seemed to be calmed down a little. He was still stroking my hand.

"Wait till you get to know her more then see the devil come out." Michael laughed. I just ignored him and continued to eat my food.

"So how old are you, Victoria?" She asked.

"17." I answered coldly. I could feel Michael staring at me because of my attitude.

"And you, handsome Gerald?" She asked.

"Obviously too young for you." I answered before Gerald could, Michael just shook his head.

"Are you and him dating?" She asked me innocently. What a fake bitch!

"Yeah are you dating him?" Michael raised a brow.

"No, we're just friends." I said irritably, I was staring to feel really annoyed.

"Well I'm sure you have lots of boyfriends." She stated.

That was it! I couldn't take her fucking fake façade anymore.

"Are you calling me a whore?!" I snapped.

"Victoria!" Michael warned.

"No it's okay Michael. I'm sorry Victoria I didn't mean that." She said apologetically, but we all knew it's fake.

"So you didn't mean calling me a slut when Michael was gone, did you? Or you didn't mean flirting with Gerald? Or you just don't mean being a fucking bitch?!" I said angrily.

"Victoria, calm down." Gerald said gently.

"No! Michael needs to open his fucking eyes and see what a bitch she really is!"

"Victoria, that's enough! You cannot speak to her in that tone!" He said, looking really angry now.

"So it's okay that she just called me a whore and a slut?!" I yelled at him.

"You know, has it occurred to you that maybe she's just telling the truth?!" He yelled back.

By now, Jessica had fake tears in her eyes. The bitch was pretending to cry.

"What are you saying?" I asked feeling hurt. My brother and I have fought several times, but not once has he ever called me any bad names. Sure my sister has called me bad names many times, but Michael has never.

"You do behave and dress like a slut. God knows how many men you've slept with." He said looking disgusted.

"You know what, fuck you and your little bitch!" I yelled and ran out.

I ran and ran until I reached the park near my house. I sat on a bench and ran a hand through my hair, tears were threatening to escape, I tried to hold them back.

I heard footsteps approaching me, I looked and seen Gerald take a seat next to me. I turned around ignoring him.

"Victoria?" He asked softly.

I ignored him still fighting away those damn tears.

"Hey, don't block me out again. Not like when you came back from New York, I don't think I can handle that again." He said and gently moved my shoulders. I turned my body towards him.

He gently lifted up my chin.

"Talk to me, love." He said softly.

I looked at him and felt comfortable and at home, it felt okay to confide in him.

"Not once, not once has he ever insulted me like that. We were so close as kids until he grew up and started hating me. I always knew he never loved me, but I never thought he hated me that much." I could feel those tears threatening to escape again.

"Victoria, don't let any of those things he said to you get to your head, you are nothing like that. You are the most perfect and amazing girl ever, no matter how cheesy that sounds it's just the truth. I've always knew you were special, beautiful and amazing and you'll always be like that, right till the day we all cease to exist." He said, and stroked my cheek.

I forced a smile at him,"Yeah, majorly cheesy." I attempted to joke, but failed.

"Hey, whatever is hurting you in the inside, let it out. I'm right here, now and I will always be here." He assured.

To be honest, Michael really hurt me tonight. I remember when we were kids how he used to be protective over me, once when I was 5 some kid in the park made me cry because he said I was ugly. Michael was only 12 then, I remember how he comforted me and promised that he would alway protect me, he promised that he would make sure I would never shed another tear. He failed at keeping that promise, since I was bullied in middle school, I cried almost every night, until I reached freshman year and I realised that I was a big girl and I was strong, I didn't need to be weak and cry over people who weren't worth it.

I also remember when I used to at cry school who would comfort me and tell me it'll all be alright. Gerald. He was always there for me when I needed him.

It was okay to be cry sometimes, it was okay to let all the emotions in, especially with the ones who are always there for you. After all everyone feels better after a good cry.

I felt tears running down my cheeks, they just flowed like a dam broke loose. I let them fall because I wanted to, because I knew Gerald was here for me.

I started sobbing and all I felt were tears rolling down my cheeks.

Gerald instantly wrapped his arms around me, like he was a robot programmed to be there for me, but he was the robot and the person in charged.

"It's okay, baby girl, it's okay." He said gently, while stroking my hair. With that I started crying even more.

He held me close and securely. I clung onto him like he was my life support. It wasn't just tonight's emotions that were coming out, it was everything I kept bottled up inside of me, years of heartache. Even my emotions from my summer in New York two years ago.

"Why? Why do I have to suffer so much?" I said in between sobs.

"No one said life was easy, some of us get it easy and some of us get it hard." He said softly.

I continued to cry for what felt like hours but in reality was only about twenty minutes. Gerald still held me, stroking my hair.

I lifted my head up from his chest while he wiped my tears. He placed a kiss onto my forehead and held it there for a while.

"Come on, let's go home. It's getting a little cold out here." Gerald said gently moving me away from him.

"No, there's no way I'm going back there!"

"I'm not that stupid, you know. I meant to my house. You can stay there." He woke up from the bench and extended his hand for me to take.

I grabbed his and and followed him to his car. I was shivering a little so he took off his cardigan and put it around my shoulders.

"No! What if you-" I started, but he cut me off.

"Don't worry about me, I'm fine." He assured.

After about fifteen minutes we reached his house and went straight to his bedroom.

"Okay you can sleep here, I'll take the guest room." He said getting ready to leave.

"Don't be silly! Just sleep here." I rolled my eyes.

"You don't mind?"

"No, of course not." I smiled.

"I'll take the couch then."

"I don't mind sharing a bed with you, Gerald." I said walking closer to him.

We were standing to close to each other, our lips so close together.

Before I knew what was happening, his lips were on mine. I kissed him back.

Our lips moved together in perfect sync, he moved his tongue on my lips asking for permission which I granted instantly. I felt light headed, I was swooning.

Before I knew was happening I pulled off his shirt and we were on his bed making out.

My fingers were in his hair, I moved my hands from his hair and ran them over his chest and rocks hard abs. He pulled of my shirt and started at my neck. I moaned.

He ran his fingers all over me, he left his hands on my hipbone and rubbed circles as he kissed me passionately.

I moved my crotch up to his and started grinding him. I unzipped his pants when he stopped,

"Are you sure you wanna do this?" He asked me with so much intensity.

"Yes, I am more than sure." I said seriously.

He nodded, kissed my lips, then pulled out my skirt.

Next thing I knew I was on cloud nine.
