Later that day, Itsuke was gathering up seaweed for his newborn son. "Hey, Itsuke, how's your little baby?" Ippei smiled as he held his son close.

"Our little Ryouhei is good, thank you. How about your little one?"

Ippei smiled. "He's okay, I'm just taking him out for a swim."

Itsuke blinked. "Aren't you going to collect seaweed for his bed?"

Ippei chuckled. "I'll let him sleep on my back, but he can have seaweed too."

Itsuke gulped at the thought. "I mean, I couldn't let Ryouhei do that."

Ippei smiled. "I see. You might let him sleep on your back one day."

Itsuke sighed. "I'm sorry to hear about your wife."

Ippei gave a weak smile. "Thank you, Itsuke, it means a lot."

Midoin watched on a near cliff. "Hmm, I see. A baby without a mother..."

Arashi swam up to Midoin. "A baby can't survive without their mother."

Midoin grinned. "We will kidnap one of the kids, and, when the time is right, we go in at nightfall and one of us will pick up one of the kids and bring them back to our cave."

Arashi nodded and smirked. "I agree."

Itsuke looked up and saw Midoin and Arashi. "Ippei, get back to your cave. I'll handle them."

Ippei nodded and swam back. "Reo, it's Arashi and Midoin - they are watching over Crystal Cove."

Reo handed Seiya over to Ippei. "Hold him for now, Ippei. Hitoshiro, come with me."

Hitoshiro nodded as he swam onwards with Reo. "What do they want this time?" Reo growled.

Midoin smiled at Itsuke. "Come on, why don't you hand your baby over?"

Itsuke growled. "My boy isn't going, anyway. One day he may take you down!"

Reo and Hitoshiro swam up to the two sea wizards "Listen, I've warned you, get off our land!"

Midoin laughed a cruel laugh. "What are three mermen going to do?"

Hitoshiro held both Reo and Midoin back. "Look, just go back. We will need to warn the others to protect the babies."

Reo nodded, and so did Itsuke, after he took a deep breath in. "We will be on form, sea wizards."

Midoin chuckled he watched the mermen swim away. "I'm so scared~!" he teased.

Arashi grinned. "I've got a plan: I'll date one of the mermaids, get her pregnant with my baby, and then I'll be in there."

Midoin chuckled. "I like it! Arashi, go now. Do your best and report back to us."
