The most famous cryptid, the Sasquatch has many names, many possible subspecies, and possibly a worldwide range.
The Bigfoot has the most sightings of any cryptid, and many, many colors have been reported, from the more common black or dark brown, to a handful of albino specimens and even one with yellow fur, nicknamed ' Yellow Top' for obvious reasons. There has even been exactly one sighting of a ginger bigfoot, which might have been an escaped orangutan. So how do the different color morphs get categorized?  Are they different subspecies? Do the creatures change colors as they age? Variable skin colors have also been reported, but it is the opinion of the author that if you are close enough to see the skin color under all that hair.. YOU ARE TOO CLOSE.
Some reports put forth by witnesses claim that the creatures bury their dead, which would suggest a high level of intelligence, perhaps even an imagination. Some people have claimed that they have found the remains of a Sasquatch, only to have the remains vanish shortly after. Someone even claimed to have filmed a Bigfoot burial, though the footage vanished shortly after, leading to talk of a cover up.
The Bigfoot has a very recognizable profile, bipedal, hairy, and almost simian, but with humanoid feet, and much bigger, with reported heights ranging from 6'0 to 10 feet tall pushing the limits. The height average according to the BFRO is 7'10 this puts the creature well under the estimated max height of the Wendigo, but the creatures are still very big by human standards.
According to the BFRO physiology page, the creatures are primarily nocturnal, which may be a defensive adaptation to avoid detection by humans. The diet of the creature is omnivorous, with an apparent tendency towards being carnivorous.
