five

"Bishop? Bishop, when is your dad going to be here?" Owen asks, slightly shaking Bishop.

She mumbled something indistinguishable.

"Bishop," Owen groans.

"Around five," she murmurs.

"Shit it's almost four. We've got to clean you up, baby." Owen lifts her up and she groans. "Come on, Bishop, help me."

She stands and walks with Owen to the bathroom. "You're going to see me naked for once," she says.

"It's not like that," he murmurs. Owen didn't think of Bishop as some game. He loved her. He kneels and starts running a steamy bath for her. He turns around and pulls her gray shorts down slowly. He runs his hands over her fresh cuts and she flinches. "I'm sorry," he breathes. Owen slides his hands up her dark blue lifeguard hoodie and stands, pulling it off of her. He loses his breath at the sight of her. Lace black panties decorating her porcelain skin. "You're beautiful." He unclips her bra. "Would you like to keep your panties on?" Owen tries not to stare. He fails.

Bishop shakes her head. Owen slips his fingers in her waistband and pulls them down. He holds out his hand and she grabs on to it as she steps in the tub. Owen grabs a washcloth and glides it over her skin, washing the blood away. He murmurs, "Beautiful," over and over.

Owen slides the cloth up her legs, looking at her face as he does so. Bishop blushes and bites her lip. He leans forward and ever so softly, as though she could break, he pressed his lips to hers. He lets go of the washcloth and rubs his thumb over her clit.

"O-Owen," she moans, wrapping her arms around him.

"Do you want me to stop, baby?"

"N-no," she whimpers.

"Fuck," Owen groans, kissing her neck and sliding his finger inside of her. Bishop whines and squirms as Owen curls his finger, pressing it against her g-spot. He keeps going until she's moaning loudly, body trembling as she cums.

Bishop relaxes immediately and tries to catch her breath. "Do you... want anything?"

"No," he says. "I just want you."

"I love you," she whispers.

"I love you too."

"You're back," Derek breathes. "I almost didn't expect you to show up."

Vincent smiles. "And miss seeing you?"

"Yeah,"Derek says simply.

They were both sitting on the ground under the bleachers, backs against the fence. Derek's long legs were stretched out in front of him. He was wearing light gray joggers and a blue Nike hoodie. Vincent had on jeans and a gray sweater.

Derek runs his hand down Vincent's arm. "I like this sweater."

"Thanks," Vincent says.

"I like you," Derek says quietly.

"Yeah?" Vincent grins.

"Yeah."

"Good," Vincent tells him and straddles him. Derek's eyes widen, but he immediately relaxes as Vincent starts kissing his neck and grinding against him.

"Fuck," Derek grunts. "Vince..."

"Hm?"

"I don't..."

"You want me to stop?" Vincent asks, looking at him.

"No, of course not. But I also don't want this to just be about sex."

The brightest smile paints itself across Vincent's face. "Deal."

"Can you take me home?" Sage asked

Chris shrugged. They were laying in his bed, clothes left on the floor.

"I don't have a ride," she persists.

He sighs. "Maybe you should have thought about that before you hung out with me."

Sage gasps and slides out of the bed, hurrying to get her clothes on. "You are nothing, Chris Willford. Nothing."

He smirks. "Don't think you're fooling everyone, Sage. People see right through you."

Terror strikes Sage's heart. But he's lying, testing her. Isn't he? Sage laughs and trails a finger down Chris' face. "Oh, dear, how little you know." Sage grabs her bag and walks out of his room, out of his house, and out to his driveway. She pulls her phone out of her bag and dials her best friend's number. She breathes a sigh of relief when Alyssa picks up.

"Hey, Sage," she says. "Tea time?"

"No," Sage breathes.

"No?" Alyssa asks. "Oh." She sounds so disinterested.

"Can you pick me up please?"

"Where are you?" Alyssa asks.

"The lower side of Greenwich."

"Whose house? I go down there for party's all the time."

Sage goes silent and looks back at the house. "Nevermind," she breathes and hangs up. She turns around and goes up the stairs to the front door. Sage goes pale and opens the door and silently treads back up to Chris' room. She hears voices.

"Yeah, she just left," Sage hears Chris say. He laughs. "I know, she's a hoe. Slut, really. Thinking she runs the place. She really thinks I don't see how much of a fraud she is."

Sage covers her mouth to keep from sobbing. She can't hear the other person on the line.

"You have a reason to fuck me. You need the money, Bishop..."

Sage hears the name and freezes. She's so focused on her thoughts she stops listening. Bishop.. Bishop, Bishop, Bishop. She gasps as she remembers who Bishop is. Then she remembers she's not alone.

"Hold on," Chris says into the phone.

Sage hears the floor creak softly and slips down the hall and out the door, not even bothering to shut it. She runs and runs, her bag wearing her down. Her face quickly turns bright red. Tears pool in her eyes but she tries to blink them away. She can't cry. Not here, not now. Anyone could see her. How much longer? She slows to a walk and pulls out her phone.

Sage vaguely recognized the area, but not well enough to get home. She knew she couldn't call her mom. God, how did this happen? Chris has never acted like he doesn't like her or has any ill feelings.

She stops and closes her eyes, gripping her phone tightly. He lied. They all lie.

"I'm going to ruin her," Sage growls through clenched teeth.

-too bad I'll ruin her first-
