May's POV (Elena)

"I told you didn't I? A time will come that YOU will be the one who'll chase me May."

I just glared at Chase who is currently at the entrance of my door. Great way to piss me off. Tsk. Ang aga-aga mukha niya ang bubungad sa akin. Did he just forget what he just did last month? Well, I didn't! Ugh, hindi siya nagpakita for a month and I thought I would continue living in peace but hell with this guy.

"And I told you didn't I? That will never happen Chase," I countered before pushing him aside.

He held my wrist before giving me a smirk and shoved his other hand in his pocket. Napataas ang kilay ko sa inaakto niya, what is with him now?

"Is that how you welcome me back? We haven't seen each other for a month. I know you missed me."

I rolled my eyes at him, "Why didn't you just rot in hell. You are never welcome Chase."

He let out a soft laugh. Why does Chase's laugh irritate the hell out of me? I want to punch his face and break his teeth. Tsk.

"I missed you too, babe."

"Just leave and never return," I snarl at him.

"Going back to the topic. Mark my words May, you will—"

When will he stop? I let out a sharp sigh and shut him off.

"Stop with this foolish game of yours. That will NEVER happen," I calmly snorted.

"Who do you think I am, May?" he asked, a smug grin on his face.

I crossed my arms and rolled my eyes. I laughed sarcastically before throwing him a harsh stare.

"The ever-annoying stupid jerk of all times," I stated in a matter-of-fact tone. "...Chase Rodriguez"

I was caught off guard when he suddenly gave me a quick peck on my lips before giving me a mocking grin.

"Remember that name, babe. You will chase me because I AM Chase Rodriguez after all."

He took a step backward and turned his back from me while waving his hands in goodbye. Ugh. In your dream, you stupid jerk.

"Marami kang dapat ipaliwanag May," I heard an excired voice at my side

Napalingon ako and saw Yummie's shocked face. I just shook my head at pumara ng masasakyan. Yummie just kept on blabbering stuff and annoying the hell out of me even when we reach the office. I faced her with my hands on my waist.

"Look Yummie. I have nothing to explain."

Nagkunot ang kilay ni Yummie. Her eyes are filled with disbelief, and she has a pout on her face.

"Ang daya mo May. Sumisekreto ka na. Nagtatampo na ako sa'yo," she complained in a high-pitch tone.

I rubbed my temples. I'm getting a headache from this girl. I sat in my chair, facing Yummie.

"That was nothing, and if there's anything else, I loathe that man," I replied simply. I sincerely do hate everything about him. I began working on my administrative tasks. "If you don't have anything significant to ask, just quietly return to your seat; I don't have time to discuss that jerk."

I tightly held my pen. I can't and won't ever forgive that jerk. How could he insult me like that?! And not even in my wildest dream will I ever chase that jerk.

"Good morning sir Javier."

Our eyes met when I heard his name. He shifted his gaze. I looked away as well. Ugh, I remember that kiss again. How many times o I have to remind myself I AM May Gonzales. Nadala ako sa moment and that was stupid of me. I caught myself staring at Luke's back. I'm not sure why he kissed me. I wonder why he kissed me. He even said those words... I let out an exasperated sigh. A memory from last time echoed through my head...

"You really remind me of Elena," napalingon ako kay Luke. He's still staring from afar. "The Elena who made me go all crazy."

Napasabunot ako sa buhok ko. Right, he also said that. Do I really have time to be thinking about it? I calmy exhaled, better to occupy my mind with other stuff. Itinuon ko ang atensyon ko sa documents sa harap ko. I've been researching about the company's progress and something is off.

"May? Break na, tara sa cafe?"

I didn't bother to look at Yummie. Kinuha ko ang isang document na kumuha sa atensyon ko. What's this? The numbers does not match. May biglang humawak sa kilay ko.

"Salubong na naman kilay mo. May problema ba?"

I let out a sigh. "The company's progress has decreased this last two months. The sales are low too."

Tiningnan naman ni Yummie ang documents na hawak ko. She crossed her arms with serious expression in her face.

"Hindi ko alam kung para saan yang ginagawa mo, 'di naman kasama yan sa trabaho natin pero tama may ka," she stated while nodding her head.

"The numbers from last month do not add up too," I added while biting my lips. I muttered to myself, "Elena should be seeing this now and she should be doing something about this. A lot of the company plans and projects have leaked out. Someone inside is sabotaging the company but why are they still not doing anything?"

"Ano? ANong sabi mo May?"

I was brought back to reality when I heard Yummie's voice. "Nothing. I was just curious."

"Anyway, 'di pa rin ako sumusuko sa inyo ni Chase. Akala mo ba matatakasan mo ako?! Kailangan mo talaga magpaliwanag!" Yummie nagged while acting cute on me.

Another sigh for this day. How many times do I have to explain it to this gi—Luke. We immediately break eye contact, and he pretends to cough before walking away. Sigh. Napalingon ako kay Yummie when she suddenly made an exxaggerated gasp.

"At ngayon si Sir Luke!"

Hindi makapaniwalang napatingin ako kay Yummie. She's not sharp but how did she? What kind of instinct does this girl have?

"What non-sense are you sprouting out now?" Patay malisya kong sambit.

"Hindi nagkakamali ang Yummie love radar! Alam kong may nangyari sa inyong tatlo! Now, spill it!"

"Well, today your radar is wrong just quitely follow me and zip your nosy mouth," I answered pulling her hands.

But Yummie didn't stop nagging me. "Oh my G! Chase!" Yummie suddenly screamed.

Napalingon si Chase sa amin and he smiled papunta sa amin. I grabbed Yummie's hand but she stood like a frozen stone and wouldn't move an inch. Tsk. Fine i'm leaving you. I turned my back and walked away as fast as I can but someone suddenly lifted me up.

"Chase!" I shouted in shock as he gave me a victorious smirk. "Put me down this instant!"

An awkward silence enveloped us when Chase stole another kiss! Ugh. I was about to punch him when

"Please refrain from making a scene."

Luke. He walked away, not looking back. "You really love punching me don't you?"

He finally put me down and fixed his tie. I really hate this guy.

"Now it's time," he turned his back from me. "I'll be waiting."

Tsk. Great way to ruin my day and appetite!

"I lost my apetite. I'm going back."

Well, I'm waiting for you to die but there's a saying 'matagal mamatay ang masamang damo' and I strongly believe he is one.

"Hoy, anong plano niyo. Layuan niyo nga si May!" Yummie shouted

Tsk, here comes the ugly bitches with their lame tactics. Two girls were holding Yummie and the ever annoying bitch with her hand in the wall trapping me gave me a death glare.

"Another child play, Gabriella?"

"Layuan mo si Sir Chase. Hindi siya bagay sa isang tulad mo!" She melodramatically ordered.

"Well, tell that to that jerk. I would be glad if you do. He really is a headache," I boringly stated. By all means please take that jackass away from me. "Now, if you'll excuse us. I have many things to do."

Gabriella came to a halt in front of me, pressing me against the wall. A cold, sharp blade pierced through the skin of my neck.

"Gabriella! Ibaba mo 'yang kutsilyo! 'Wag mong—"

"Shut up Yummie! Kailangan malaman ng salot na 'to kung saan siya lulugar!"

"Perhaps it's time, Gabriella, to find out where you stand," I fluttered my lashes, stressing the word 'you'. "Do you really think a petty threat would frighten me?"

Her aggravated breathing tells me she is affected by my words. False bravery? To what extent can you hold this on Gabriella? Akala ko pa naman natahimik ka na pero andito ka na naman gumagawa ng kalokohan. Didn't learn our lesson, ayt?

"Tingnan natin kung mananatili yang ngiting 'yan pag-ginawa ko 'to!"

She suddenly runs towards Yummie with the knife in her hands. Tsk. Yummie's terror is visible in her eyes. The two girls holding her are faltering but the psychotic bitch is serious. My surrounding suddenly started spinning in slow-motion making me want to puke. I instantly felt lightheaded. Ugh, how weak is this body of mine? Not now, I need to hold on.

"Drop that kni—" Shit. I need to calm down.

I saw how the red liquid flow down Yummie's neck along with her tears. Shit, no. I was about to step forward when I felt my body numb and fall backward.

"Your Prince Charming has arrived," my vision was blurry but I recognized that voice.
