Today was a very special day for Justin. It was the day when his friendship with Jacob and Danielle had completed a year. Justin wondered how fast a year had passed . Just a year back he used to be this shy boy feeling insecure all the time just because he was rebuked by his classmates . But after Danielle came everything changed , he got a new friend , a new life and most importantly a new identity. Now he was that famous Justin who had won the science day exhibition . But still misery did not leave him . Now along with Jim he had Julian who used to rebuke him and call him a fraud. Julian told Jim and his friends that Justin had cheated and took the help of the geography teacher ,Mrs. Susan who was Justin's favorite teacher. Any ways despite all this Justin continued to pursue his hobby and did not let anything to demotivate him anymore.

Anyways he was excited to go to school today. Justin had planned along with Jacob and Danielle that after school they would go an amusement park and have fun. They were least interested in listening to the lectures of the teachers in school today and it became more pathetic as ,history was their last period today. History teacher Ms. Carmen soon find Justin and Danielle looking outside the window and sent them out of class . Jacob felt sorry for them. Jim who say beside him laughed heartily when they got punished.

Finally!!! School was over.

Justin, Danielle and Jacob hurriedly went to their lockers and took out their stuff hurriedly and began walking towards the school gate. Danielle had there tickets to the City amusement park. . Jacob shouted in joy ,"We are going to the amusement park!!! Yaay!" . They did not know that the devil was behind them, Julian.

Julian suspected something when he saw them hurriedly taking out their bags from their lockers and followed them. Unfortunately he heard where Justin was about to go. Suddenly a very wicked plan came to his head . He asked Jim to accompany him. On the way Julian told him his plan.

Julian's plan somewhat goes like this :-

He knew that if Justin and his friends were going to the amusement park then they would surely ride the roller coaster. But he knew very well that Jacob was a short heighted guy and therefore he would not be able to ride the roller coaster as there was a fixed height limit of 5 feet but Jacob was 4 feet 8 inches. Then he would come up with Jim and poison his mind about his friend.

"How??",asked Jim on the way.

"U will find out shortly" answered Julian.

They reached the amusement park. Julian and Jim started searching for them . After few minutes Julian found Justin and called Jim , "Hey , you fool there they are !! Have u gone blind?"

And it was for sure that Justin was targeted by the devil because Julian found him just when they were paying a bald headed guy for the ride.

As expected Jacob had to stay back .

"Never mind ", replied Jacob to Justin and Danielle . "I'd better check out the hot dog store. When you guys come back I'm gonna give you a hot dog treat."

Justin and Danielle boarded the roller coaster and it started to run. Jacob went to the hot dog store . Soon enough he found his path blocked by Jim and Julian.

"What are you doing here ?"

"Well I thought to show you the truth."

" What truth?"

"Maybe you have not noticed . Then I must surely show you the truth."

"Stop making riddles and tell me Julian"

"Well I seem to notice that you are quite neglected by your friends Justin and Danielle . You see that would not have left you if they were your true friends. They would have stayed back and went along with you . Instead they sent you to buy hotdogs. Now don't tell me you haven't noticed that Justin pays more attention to Danielle than you. I think he does not wish to be your friend anymore now he has found a new one . Not that I'm trying to deceive you but I'm just showing you the truth. Think about it sometime. See ya in school. Goodbye."

Then Jim and Julian went away.

On their way home Julian told Jim " Now wait and watch."

Sadly Julian's plan had worked all right.

Justin and Danielle had a great time on the roller coaster, when the got off the ride . Justin and Danielle immediately came to the hot dog store to search for Jacob . They found him sitting on a ledge beside. Justin shouted out to him

"Hey ! Sorry to keep you waiting bro."

"No no enjoy your time ,Jacob is only for buying hot dogs right?"

"What happened ? "

"Yeah it's seems Julian was right . I'm just a guy who is tagging along with you . I'm not wanted ."

"Julian?? When did he come!"

"He also came to the park and opened my eyes, Justin . He showed me how you your entire attention is towards Danielle just because he protects you from Criticism . What about me huh! I was that guy who gifted you that telescope , I was the one sitting in the break with you , when you had no friend and now you are leaving him behind and going with some another girl who is just there for a year leaving your best friend? Wow! What a friendship!

"I know Julian spoke all nonsense to you . He poisoned your mind . You are my oldest friend and I would never think of giving you less importance . If I would have really thought that way about you I would not have kept that telescope for two years and I would not have given you that friendship band! Forget all that and just end this ."

Justin was almost crying now. Danielle stood stupefied .

Jacob said " OK ! Let's end this. Take your hot dogs and I'm going!"

Jacob strode off angrily and left the amusement park....

Justin sat down on the curb and started crying . He felt like he should not have won the first prize for the science day. That won him an enemy and lost him a friend . He felt that he was responsible for this. Had he lost the science day prize Jacob would be with them enjoying hot dogs.

"Sorry, Danielle you had to witness this."

Danielle replied " I did not mind anything Justin . You are my best friend and I would not doubt you for a second . That is one of Julian's dirty tricks . We will figure this out together . I promise I'll bring you guys together again. Don't worry." and she sat beside Justin.

Justin felt a little relieved . At least he still has a friend who would by always by his side and help him get back a lost friend.

Will Danielle succeed in keeping her promise
Will Jacob and Justin be united again.
