Detecting a roster croaking in the distance, the birds decided to participate and chirp their own melody. Their melody was gentle and joyful, excited for it to be morning once again. The trees and flowers danced loosely in the breeze, allowing their scent to travel with the wind. The tree branches lightly scraped along the side of the house, causing the house to shiver slightly. The sun began to peek over the horizon, flashing through your window as your large gray cat was sunbathing in the heated rays.
Groaning slightly, you covered your eyes as the sun was reflexing off your mirror and into your eyes. Feeling warmth hugging your body, you snuggled deeper into the bed, pressing your back against the body behind you. Gradually opening one eye, you glanced around your room, noticing the microscopic particles that swirled in the sun rays in front of your window. Sighing through your nose, you smiled as your eyes landed on your round cat that was napping peacefully on the fluffy carpet.
Yawning, you carefully peeked over your shoulder to see a glowing arm wrapped around your waist. Rolling over to face the sleeping male, you stroked his messy hair out of his face, grinning as you saw how relaxed he appeared while sleeping. "BEN~ Wake up~" I snickered, pinching his nose gently. Swatting away my hand, the gamer boy groaned and buried his face farther into my shoulder. "You need to wake up, it's eight in the morning." Combing my fingers through his smooth hair, I sighed when I didn't get a reply.
Lying in bed for a second, I pondered on what I can do to get BEN to wake up. I could just switch on his video games and play them without him, but he can just turn them off with a snap of his fingers. Exhaling through my mouth, I swung my legs over the bed, sensing the chilly air attack them once the blanket slid off. Carefully shoving BEN's head off my shoulder and back onto his pillow, I sat up, trying not to disturb his sleep.
Lifting my arms above my head, I stretched, startling my dazed cat with my foot. "Sorry, buddy." I grinned, leaning down to scratch behind his ears. Setting my bare feet on the soft carpet, I readjusting my pyjamas before stepping over my cat to get to our bedroom door. I usually keep it cracked open so our cat can come in and out whenever he please.
Swinging the old door open, I wandered out into the dim hall, peering around at the closed blinds. Deciding to open them to let some light in, I hissed when the sun shined right in my eyes. Once most of the blinds were open, I walked downstairs, going to make BEN and I some breakfast. "What does BEN likes to eat besides chips and junk food? Besides, he doesn't really even need to eat..." I hummed, tapping my chin as I thought of some breakfast food I could cook. "I mean, some scrambled eggs doesn't sound bad." Shrugging, I marched over to the fridge, opening it to see that I need to go to the store soon.
Grabbing four eggs on the top shelf, I set them down on the counter as I scanned around for a good-sized pan in the cupboards. Wincing at the sound of pots and pans bumping into each other, I quickly grabbed the pan I needed and placed it on the stove. "Thankfully BEN won't wake up to that." I chuckled, spraying the pan down so that the eggs don't stick. Taking the pepper and some garlic salt out of the cupboard above me, I placed them alongside the eggs as I dug around for a spatula.
"(Y/n)! Stop being so loud! Geez..." Waving the spatula around in the air, I pretended to mock the gamer boy before I cracked the eggs in the pan.
"Sure, buddy. You're pretty loud in the mornings when you wake up as well." I muttered under my breath, scrabbling the eggs around before I pour a little bit of pepper and garlic salt into the pan. Clearing my throat, I set the spatula on the counter, grabbing myself a quick cup of cold water to help my raspy throat.
Feeling the cold liquid sliding down my throat, I sighed in relief. Filling the cup up once again, I walked over to my cat's water dish, pouring the water in until it hits the rim. Nodding in approval, I placed my cup next to the sink before quickly scrambling my eggs. Seeing that they were done, I grabbed ahold of a small plate, sliding the eggs carefully onto the glass plate. Opening the squeaky cupboard, I grabbed a fork before wincing at the loud squeak when I closed it.
Making my way up the stairs, I pushed open our bedroom door with my shoulder, noticing that BEN didn't move at all. Shaking my head, I planted my plate on the bedside table, deciding if I wanted to wake up the grumpy male. Raking my fingers through my hair, I shrugged, nudging the male next to me. "BEN! I made some eggs for you!" Watching as BEN opened one of his eyes, he stared up at me with his red orbs.
"Bold of you to assume I want food right now." He grunts, placing a hand on my knee that was facing him.
"Then what do you want right now?" I questioned, raising a brow as I began to eat the scrambled eggs. Noticing a smirk appearing on BEN's features, I sighed, knowing it's going to be something I'm going to say no to.
"I want to cuddle with you. Come back to bed with me." BEN yawns, opening his arms for me. Grinning, I shook my head, pointing at my eggs.
"I'm eating, besides, I'm already wide awake unlike you."I glared, setting my plate on the nightstand. Feeling BEN's arms wrap around my shoulders, I yelped when he pulled me onto his chest, hugging me tightly, not planning on letting me go anytime soon.
"But my eggs!" I pouted, causing BEN to snort with a small grin.
"Who refuses to cuddle with their lover to eat eggs?" He questions, closing his eyes as he wraps his legs over mine, making me shiver from his cold feet.
"I do."
