"HEY LOSERS!" Carissa walked over to Numericles and Calculus who shook in fear of her. "Got your order."
"Oh fabulous." Numericles gulped as he nervously walked up to her. "Your father is a real genius."
"Are you going to give me what I want or are you just going to state the obvious?" Carissa glared getting sick of this. "Here." she gave them the blueprints for her father's future inventions. "You make these and I won't give you more black eyes."
"Carissa? What are you doing here?" Hercules walked over to her.
"I do business with these guys, what are you doing here?" Carissa asked.
"Well, I was trying to impress a girl but I ended up making her mad." Hercules admitted.
"That seems to be all you do Herc." Carissa rolled her eyes.
"I heard it was your birthday yesterday." Herc nervously said.
"Yes, it was." Carissa stated. ''And unlike your father my dad has been there for every single one."
"Hey, he would if he could." Herc defended.
"He can, he's just too selfish and thick headed to change his own rules."
Numericles and Calculus gave each other sinister looks both thinking the same thing.
"You don't know how hard it is to be a hero in training." Herc scolded her.
"And you don't know how much it sucks to see my misunderstood dad get treated the way he does!" Carissa shouted back.
"He's evil!"
"So is yours!"
"He's the top God!"
"HE'S A LIAR!"
"SPOILED PRINCESS!"
"DEMI IDIOT!"
"People people people." Numericles walked over and put his arms around the two cousins. "We are all mature potential individuals."
Carissa glared and flamed up setting his arm on fire making Numericles run to a horse trough that was outside before coming back.
"As I was saying, maybe we all need to take a breather and just sit down." Numericles lead the two over to a couple of weird looking chairs setting them down in them. "I'm sure we can all be reasonable here."
"Reasonable? With him?" Carissa pointed to Herc. "If he had a brain then the world would be better."
"Hey!" Herc stuttered offended.
While the two were arguing Calculus slammed down a couple of helmet looking items on their heads while Numericles flipped a switch causing Herc and Carissa to get a painful shock.
They both groaned and took the helmets off now too weak to fight and got up walking out.
"Think it worked?" Calculus asked.
"We'll soon find out." Numericles grinned excitedly.
Herc went back to Phil's island. "Hey Phil, I got a killer headache."
"Well you already had 10 hours of training today so take the night off rookie." Phil grinned.
"I think I'm just going to go to bed early." Herc admitted.
"Got ya covered kid, warm goat milk coming up."
"Thanks Phil, don't know what I'd do without you." Herc went to his room and passed out in his hammock.
Meanwhile, Carissa walked in the underworld to the throne room. "Daddy I don't feel so good."
Hades stopped reading a scroll and appeared in front of her feeling her forehead. "You don't have a fever did you eat too much of your birthday cake?"
"No, I just have a really pounding headache." Carissa admitted.
"Alright, come here." Hades picks her up allowing her to rest her head on his shoulder. "Boys, get her something for her headache."
"Already on it boss." The imps saluted.
Hades takes Carissa to her bedroom making her pajamas appear on her and set her on her bed. "If it gets worse over night come get me, no matter what I'm doing, ok?"
"Yes dad." Carissa yawned.
The imps came into her room.
"Here princess." Pain put a couple of pills into her mouth while Panic helped her sit up and Hades held the glass of water for her.
"Thanks." Carissa grinned before she laid back down on her bed. The imps both patted her head before jumping off the bed and walking out. Hades stroke her hair and kissed her head before he also walked out of the door closing it behind him.
Both cousins slept all night both in for a big surprise when they wake up.
Hercules
Hercules grinned as he snuggled against whatever he was laying on. "Am I on Olympus?" Herc sighed as he wrapped something extra warm and fuzzy close to him. Whatever he was laying on was the most comfortable thing he's ever touched. He moved his head only for what felt like hair get in his eyes. "Guess I'm due for a hair cut." Herc rolled on to his stomach but something felt off in the chest area, very off. Herc sat up and opened his eyes only for them to widen. It looked like he was in a cave with only a dim blue light showing him that he was in a bed. He touched his face not feeling any of his features. "This isn't mine." He looked at his hands to see they were tiny female hands. "Those aren't mine." He couldn't even look as he felt the chest. "OH THOSE ARE SO NOT MINE!" He jumped out of the bed to a mirror that was hanging on the wall and looked only to see his cousin stare back at him, the light source was the flaming hair! So Herc did the only thing anyone would do. Screamed.
Carissa
Carissa groaned as a bright light shined on her face. "Daddy, cool down." She yawned but realized she wasn't in her extra soft bed and her fuzzy blue blanket the fates made for her wasn't covering her. "What the?" Carissa sat up and slowly opened her eyes to see she was in a strange room laying on a hammock with the morning sun shining through the window. "What is this place?" She slowly got down and nearly tripped. "What?" She looks down to see her usually pale blue skin was now tan, she seemed taller and... a very flat chest. Gulping she saw a bathroom nearby and looked in the mirror only to see Herc was staring back at her. Carissa tried to turn back thinking that maybe she accidentally shape shifted in her sleep but she didn't turn back. Carissa took a deep breath and exhaled. "Ok Carissa, it's ok..." Who was she kidding, no it wasn't. "DADDY!!!!!!"
Hercules
Hades slammed open Carissa's bedroom door making Herc turn and scream again. "Carissa, calm down." Hades ran over to Herc who was now in Carissa's body to his chest. "It's ok, breathe baby, daddy's here."
Hercules just got more and more freaked out, his evil uncle who wants him dead is calling himself his daddy. Well to be fair he did think he was the real Carissa but still anyone would be freaking out.
"Breathe, in and out." Hades instructed.
Herc tried his best, imagining that this was someone else than Hades.
"There you go, good girl." Hades praised.
Herc felt himself blushing but he followed Hades coaching and his breathing went back to normal of course it got worse when Hades picked him up and put him over his shoulder to rub Carissa's back.
"You haven't had a panic attack in over a month." Herc could hear the worry in Hades voice. "Did you have another flashback of you drowning?"
"Um, yes." Herc said just wishing this humiliation would end.
"You said my name sir?" Panic walked in the room.
'Oh great, a witness' Herc thought to himself embarrassed someone was seeing him in this position.
"She had another attack, you know what to do." Hades told his minion.
"Yes sir." Panic saluted and ran out.
"Can you put me down?" Herc asked.
Hades seemed surprised by the question but did so. "Are you getting dizzy?"
"No."
"So the headache is gone?" Hades asked.
"Yeah."
"Great, let's go eat."
Hercules felt sick, he's seen Hades eat a bowl of worms once. He really hopes that's not breakfast. He has to pretend to be Carissa. If Hades finds out who he believes his daughter is Hercules Hades would probably kill him right there.
When they reached the kitchen Hades pulled out a chair and waited. Herc figured he was waiting for him to sit so he slowly walked over and slid into the chair. Hades pushed the chair forward so he was leaning over the table and gave Carissa's cheek a kiss making Herc scream again only this time it was on the inside.
"Here you are princess." The imps placed a big bowl of what Herc hopes was food in front of him and it looked gross. Some kid of lumpy tan stuff with something brown drizzled all over it and some fluffy white stuff on top.
"What is this?" Herc couldn't help but ask.
Hades and the imps freeze and look at their 'princess' like she just said something ridiculous.
"What are you talking about?" Hades raised his brow. "I've been feeding you this since you were two years old."
"Oh." Herc gulped worried the secret almost got out. "Right." He picked up the spoon and took at little bit before nervously putting the mush into his mouth. His eyes widened before he took a huge spoonful of it and shoved it in his mouth. "Mmm, this is the best thing I've ever tasted."
Hades and the imps just stare as he shoves one of Carissa's usual breakfasts in his mouth like she was starving.
Hades leaned over to the minions and whispered. "What did you put in there?"
"Her medicine boss." Pain whispered back.
"Must taste really good." Panic scratched his head in confusion.
Hades accepted the answer.
"You have to tell me what's in here." Herc said to the imps.
"Um just the usual princess." Pain shrugged. "Brown sugar oatmeal, with maple syrup and cream."
"Yeah, nothing else" Panic stuttered nervously worried the princess will get upset if she finds out that they put her panic attack medicine in her food.
Herc licked the bowl clean before grinning at the imps. "Got any more?"
Carissa
Carissa paces the floor thinking. "No wonder Herc is always tripping, his feet are huge." Carissa sat down with her head in her hands, or should she say Herc's head in Herc's hands? "If I'm in Herc's body, that means he's in mine. I gotta get to the Underworld." Carissa found some stairs and ran down them only to run into Phil. "Whoa kid, I know you're eager for training but hero rule number..."
"Don't have time, I gotta go." Carissa walked around him only for Phil to pull him back and push him to the table. "Hey."
"Every hero needs a good breakfast." Phil gave him a cup of what looked like green mud.
Carissa sniffed it only to gag. She waited before Phil's back was turned before dumping it into a vase that was near her.
Phil then turned back. "See kid, knew you were hungry, let's get training."
"I really really need to.." Carissa tried to insist but once again she was pushed out. She was getting really sick of this goat.
"Ok kid, try to defeat this whole course." Phil pointed to swinging axes, cardboard monsters popping out of the ground, swords spinning around, and a fake fire breathing dragon spitting out tomatoes.
Carissa sighed and looked down at Phil. "Can I go if I do this?"
"Of course." Phil nodded.
Carissa sighed and took a good look at the course.
Phil wondered why his trainee wasn't running through the course like he usually did. "Kid are you... thinking?"
"What else would I be doing?" Carissa asked before she smirked and walked the other way.
"Kid the course it that way." Phil pointed.
"I know." Carissa walked over to a huge boulder and picked it up before eyeing the course again. Taking advantage of Herc's freaky strength she roll the boulder like it was a bowling ball knocking the whole course over.
"Holy.." Phil was lost for words. "Kid that was brilliant! I knew you could be taught."
"Whatever, I'm going." Carissa waved him off.
"Right on time, the school boat is here." Phil pointed out.
"What?"
Phil pointed to the boat. "It's Friday remember."
Carissa groaned but figured that boat was the only way off the island besides that stupid pony of Hercs. The boat ride was so boring, she missing her dad or the imps teleporting her. When she arrived at the school she looked at it and sighed. "I really didn't miss this place."
"Hercie Jercie Boo." Icarus called running over.
Carissa cringed. "And I really didn't miss him."
"Buddy, how's it going? Thank Zeus it's Friday huh?" Icarus babbled.
Carissa rolled her eyes. "I'll never thank Zeus."
"So how about this weekend we go bird watching? Maybe in a tree across from Cassie Wassie's house." Icarus wiggled his eyebrows.
"You need help" Carissa scoffed.
"Yes, yes I do." Icarus nodded.
"Hey, why don't you go find Cassandra right now." Carissa suggested.
"Good idea buddy, she probably misses me as much as I miss her." With that he ran off.
"Idiot." Carissa muttered before she headed for the exit only to get a fruit smoothy dumped on Herc's head. "HEY!!"
"Oh I'm sorry Hercules, I mistook you for the trash. Honest mistake." Adonis joked.
Carissa growled as she grabbed him by his tunic raising a fist.
"I.." For once Adonis was scared of Hercules, he never stood up to him like this before.
Carissa lifted him up with one hand and tossed him into the real trash.
"Hey! You can't do that to me! I'm a prince." Adonis whined.
"So? There's lots of princes in the world. I'm a child of a major God." Carissa shrugged.
"Oh get off your tall winged horse Hercules!"
"Get off your powdered butt." Carissa rolled her eyes.
"How do you know about that?" Adonis blushed highly embarrassed.
Carissa gave him a look of disgust. "That would explain the heavy colon smell." Carissa turned and headed to the way that will take her home and hopefully to her body.
Hercules
Hercules just wanted this to end, the souls walking around were giving him the creeps, the imps won't stop calling him princess and worse of all it seems Hades would kiss Carissa's head or cheek every other minute.
"Ok baby, daddy's gotta go to work." Hades got up from his seat.
Hercules couldn't help but sigh in relief thinking now was a time to escape and find Carissa so they can figure out a way to switch back. The sigh turned into a cringe when Hades once again gave Carissa's cheek a kiss.
"Have a good day." Hercules waved nearly running out before Hades smoke arms grabbed him and dragged him back.
"You're forgetting something." Hades tsked.
"I am?" Herc looked back at him.
Hades pulled him closer to him and turned his head.
'Oh no, he wants a kiss.' Hercules freaked out again. Hades kissing him was bad but him kissing Hades!
"Come on." Hades pushed.
Hercules swallows the last bit of pride he had and gave his uncle a kiss on the cheek.
Hades finally puts him down and pats Carissa's head before walking out.
Now for something harder than exposing he's not Carissa. Finding a way to get out of the Underworld. There was so maybe twists and turns it was like a maze. Herc has been walking for what seems like forever until he walks into a room that has something he's never seen before. "What's this?" Herc wonders until he sees a gray box with a red button on it. Curiously he pushed it making the big screen show moving pictures. "Whoa." Herc said amazed as he watched.
"Carissa!"
Hercules jumped and screamed as he turned around to see Hades was standing there with his arms crossed.
"Um I.... I ...I"
Hades walked over and raised his hand.
Herc flinched and got ready for a hard slap across the face but instead he felt the red button get taken out of his hand. He opened an eye to see Hades wasn't even looking at him. Just pushed the button to turn the screen off.
"Carissa, you know the rules. No TV until your chores are done." Hades said sternly.
Herc just stared at him in surprise, he thought for sure Hades wasn't the perfect dad as Carissa said but he's starting to have doubts.
"You are acting very odd today." Hades said raising a brow.
The imps were at the doorway wondering what was going on.
"Sorry sir." Herc mumbled still very confused about what just happened.
"Sir?" Hades was now staring at him suspiciously.
"Yeah, I'm sorry." Herc said.
Hades put his finger under Carissa's chin making Herc look him in the eyes. "Carissa, my princess, my baby, my beloved reason for wanting to exist. Who am I?"
Herc blinked confused not knowing where this is going. "You're Hades."
The imps mouths dropped to the floor and Hades went from shock to anger before he grabs Carissa's throat and slams Herc into a wall. "WHO ARE YOU?!"
"I'm Carissa." Hercules choked out.
"NO YOU'RE NOT!!" Hades shouted flaming up. "I should have seen it. You screamed when I came to you, you didn't return any of my hugs, you didn't recognize one of her usual breakfasts, you didn't kiss me goodbye, you didn't do her daily routine, and Carissa never calls me sir or Hades. So I'll ask again... WHO ARE YOU!!"
Herc sighed knowing he was so busted. "I'm Hercules.'
Hades dropped Carissa's body in shock. "I'm sorry, you're who?"
"I'm Hercules. Carissa and I somehow switched bodies."
"No that's not possible." Hades nervously chuckled to himself. "I mean all day I've been.." Hades face went green before he turned around and threw up out the window.
"HEY!"
"Sorry Chiron babe, but I had a good reason." Hades told the boatman before turning back to Herc. "So, my second least favorite idiot is in my daughter's body and knowing you this is all your fault. Now where is my Carissa?"
"In my body somewhere." Herc admitted.
"Try right here." Herc and Hades look to see Herc's body was leaning against the doorway.
"Carissa?" Hades asked.
"Hi daddy." Carissa nodded at him.
"I'd kiss you but uh.."
"Yeah, I know." Carissa sighed.
"Carissa, do you have any idea on how this happened?" Herc asked.
"How do you think? Those two bozos did a freaky experiment on us." Carissa snapped.
"You're right." Herc agreed.
"Two bozos?" Hades asked.
"Yeah, dad can you teleport us to Numericles and Calculus." Carissa asked.
Hades snapped his fingers and the three were gone.
"So... we fed and spoiled Jercules?" Pain gasped.
"I feel so used." Panic cried.
When Carissa saw the two guys she grabbed them by the throats.
"It worked!" Numericles cheered. "It worked!"
"We're gonna make history!" Calculus cheered.
"Turn us back! Now!!" Carissa demanded.
"We can't. At least not yet, we gotta get the press!" Numericles smirked. "We'll be the most well-known geniuses in the universe."
"Carissa, how do I flame up?" Herc asked.
Carissa looked over at him and shrugged. "I don't know."
"What? But you do it all the time!" Herc said in disbelief.
"Yeah, but I've had those powers since I was a baby. Asking me how I learned how to use them is like asking me how I learned to breathe. I didn't learn it I just do it." She turned her attention back to the two mad scientists. ''I don't believe you two have met my dad."
Hades then made himself known to the two. "Name is Hades lord of the dead." He then flamed up. "And a very angry god."
The two gulped in fear and agreed to turn the two back.
Herc and Carissa sat back down in the chairs they were in before and put on the helmets. With a flick on a switch the two were back.
Herc went back home to Phil's island to see Phil already had a whole know course only this one was ten times tougher than the old.
"Good news rookie, now that you learned how to use your head-turning battle I upgraded the course."
Herc groaned. "Oh Carissa."
In the Underworld Carissa sighed as she watches her dad wash out his mouth for the hundredth time. "Dad, for the last time you did not actually kiss Hercules."
