On Y/n first day's off

Mina Pov

I'm solving my paperwork although I say I did, my mind is elsewhere.

'Damn it, what is the hell going on? I swear it just makes me restless if I don't see him...Argh, what's going on with me?!' I shouted in my mind while holding my paperwork.

Then, I heard someone calling me and I turned to the voice and found Shi Yoon standing behind me.

"You okay, Mina? you seem restless to me." Shi Yoon said pointing out what was going on in my mind.

*Inhale*

*exhale*I breathed to calm my mind a bit, though just a bit."It's nothing."

"Really, it wouldn't be nothing if you didn't act like this." Shi Yoon said making me embarrassed.

"It's just.....about him," I said truthfully considering I was more comfortable telling him.

"Him?who?wait....Is this about Y/n?" Shi Yoon pointed out.

I slightly hesitate before nodding.

"Ah, what about him? Didn't Vice President give him two days off considering he wasn't an official combatant?" Shi Yoon said.'I thought they were just friends, to be honest.' Shi Yoon thought.

"It just...I had a nightmare seeing him...killed. For some reason, it feels terrifying ." I said recalling the dreams I had where Y/n was stabbed which makes me shiver.

"I....see." Shi Yoon said.'I get the feeling this is more than just a friend problem.' Shi Yoon thought." well, why don't you call him then? To ask how's he doing."

".......*Blushed*"

Shi Yoon sweatdrops seeing Mina never consider that option.

I was blushing as I never thought of the option of calling him. Slowly, I pulled out my phone and open my contacts. My fingers slowly move as if they had a mind of their own but then, my mind started imagining Y/n's smile which is hidden by his poker face. My heart started to beat faster and I was panting slowly but I abruptly stopped it as I feel like I was not myself.

"Nevermind, I still had work to do," I said to Shi Yoon who is beside and I turn back to my paperwork but deep inside,

'Damn it, I almost lost myself and embarrassed myself for a moment there! Thank goodness, I was able to control myself!'

"I-I see." Shi Yoon said then shrugged it going to his station for his work.

Timeskip by Mina didn't have the courage of calling Y/n and agonizing every second of it.

Y/n's second day's off

Y/n Pov

I put my head on the pillow that I set up on my sofa after losing 1000 times in chess against Omicron.

"Losses."

'I guess that just shows how advanced you are.' I thought listless having spent my mental energy against An Advanced AI that can use Quantum and evolve every day.

"You're welcome, same as you, Master. You also get smarter with each loss."

'Well, I had to learn to solve the problem after all.' I thought and yawned.'Let me sleep a little bit.'

"Understood, how long?"

'1 hour.'

"Confirmed and have a nice dream."

With that, I fall asleep instantly.

Then, Y/n's body is glowing purple, blue, white, green, light blue, and orange circuit color mixed in and spread across his whole body in a circuit shape. For a while, it glows and later disappears and Y/n's continued to sleep as if nothing happened.

Timeskip by Y/n's is making meat bun for dinner and cooks another for Coffin company.

The next day has come and the sun rises as usual and Y/n is already up finishing cooking meat buns for Coffin Company to reduce excess food in his refrigerator. The portion for cats is also has been given.

*Meow~* Seo and Yumi meowed.

Seems they like it.

Y/n's Pov

'Shouldn't bring too much grocery.' I thought sweatdropping due to my ingredient almost going bad had I left it another two days later.'Guess it's done then.' I thought before turning off the heat and letting settle for a while and opening the bamboo steam lid letting steam puffs out its hot air before vanishing to the naked eye.

I peer inside and see meat buns cooked nicely. Nodding my head, I take a storage container for food. Taking meat buns one by one and put them into containers and I closed it. I exhaled and looks at my table which had 6 storage containers and in it were 6 meat buns in each container.

"Yeah, should be careful but the discount.."

"Should I make a search for a discount in the market?"

"You know what? Yes." I answered without hesitation. Who denies discounts?

"Understood. Entering internet....Setting to independent search...Complete."

"Now, Master will be notified when a new discount around your area appears including a ticket for free food."

'Ah, thanks.Time to take a bath.' I thought before setting the current food container I hold on my table.

Timeskip by Y/n playing chess but loses.

3rd Pov

"Are you sure about this, Soo Yeon?" Hilde said holding a paper.

"Yes. Even the Boss agrees to do it." Soo Yeon said to Hilde.

"That tin can, huh?.... But still, isn't this too early?" Hilde said.

".....Master, the sword that Y/n's brought is classed as Level 5 for simplicity's sake." Soo Yeon said making Hilde flinch."Would you still consider him too early?"

*Sigh*" Fine. I'll do it."

"Thank you, Master."

Hilde goes out of Soo Yeon's office and walks slowly to her workstation.

"Haa, why does this guy creates so many problems?"

Scene change

Y/n's Pov

I enter Coffin Company after scanning my card and holding a big bag that has food containers along with separate meat buns in paper bags. I look at the receptionist and give her a bag of 2 meat buns.

"Here," I said.

"Uh?" The receptionist said seeing the paper bag.

"It's my treat," I said and the receptionist take it and looks inside it and reply thank you. After that, I walk towards the elevator and go to my station putting my bag aside.

"Morning, Y/n" Manager Kim said putting her bag aside on the table.

"Morning, Manager Kim," I answer before switching on my work PC.

"Oh, yeah. Y/n. There will be some changes for you to attend." Manager Kim said taking my attention.

"Huh?"

"Don't worry, just do your work for now."

"S-sure." I reply not expecting something like this."Manager Kim, do you eat meat bun?"

"Hmmm, I guess so, why?"

"Here," I said and take out one of the food containers and give it to her.

"What's this?" Manager Kim said and open the lid letting steam leaks out."Whoa, so much meat bun, why the food?" Manager Kim said with a smile.

"Ah, excess food in refrigerator and I want to finish it before going bad, so.."

"Oh, thank you."

"You can share it with others as well."

"I'll be sure to do that, then." Manager Kim said with a radiant smile that infects me as well.

"A-ah, sure." I said unconsciously smiling as well.'Was a smile this bright?'

"Is it okay if I eat it now?" Manager Kim asked.

"Huh, sure," I answer her and she puts the container on her table and takes one of them. Then, she eats it in small but noticeable bites. Manager Kim eat it slowly and I looks at my computer and was about to open my work before I was interrupted by Manager Kim making noises. I look at her and found her trying to hold back something.

"Uh, you okay, Manager?"

"A-ah, yeah! I'm alright! It just...do you cook, Y/n?"

"Hmm, yeah."

"I-I see."

Shrugging off, I continue my work.

Hana Pov

'I almost let out my voice when I was drinking! That was close! Does Y/n's food is this good?!' I screamed my thought out loud looking at Y/n who is working right now. I look at my meat buns which are had been bitten.' I gotta be careful.' I thought before eating slowly to avoid problems.

3rd Pov

Chloe and Lena then enter the Managing Department and smell good food and looks at the source. Manager Kim notices and points at the food container and Y/n share it with other people including Engineering Department and R&D Department they almost themselves but managed to restrain. Now, Y/n is on his way to where Mina's station along with a bag that contains meat buns.

Right now, we see Hilde massaging her forehead while looking at a paper.

"Something wrong, Master? It's rare to see you like this." Shi Yoon asked with his usual attitude.

Hilde who usually had retorts was tired to say anything and just looks at him and give him the paper. Shi Yoon notices her silence and takes the paper and looks at it.

"W-wow, are you sure this is a good idea, Master?" Shi Yoon asked.

"......*sigh*......"

"Even you would be tired by this, huh, never knew." Shi Yoon said.

Mina who is walking by saw them distressed and walks to them.

"is there something wrong Commander, Shi Yoon?"

"....Mina, here." Shi Yoon said handing the paper.

"Hm?" Mina said before taking the paper and smiling a little bit.

"Good for you, Rookie," Hilde said with a deadpan face.

"Master, your face is obvious." Shi Yoon remarked with a sweatdrop.

Y/n then enters the Operation Department and saw three of them.

"Ah, there you are," Y/n said taking their attention.

"Y/n?" Mina and Shi Yoon said.

"Newbie?" Hilde said.

"Here, meat bun." Y/n said but suddenly a growling sound was heard and we all turned to the source."Here second container." Y/n said without any hesitation after taking the second container to give to Mina.

"T-thanks," Mina said and she open it letting the smell leaks out making three of them water a little. Mina then takes one and bite and suddenly her eyes light up and eat the bun ravenously in two bites."This is delicious!"

Shi Yoon and Hilde look at Y/n who gives them another container and take it. They then eat it and unconsciously let out a sound of bliss, though Y/n doesn't pay attention and was already leaving.

"See you later, then," Y/n said making Mina snap back to reality and call him.

"Y/n! Wait!" Mina shouted taking Y/n attention."Here." Mina gives Y/n the paper.

"Huh? What's this?" Y/n take the paper and read it."I-I see."

Y/n Pov

So, I'm gonna be transferred to Operation Department and join Fenrir Squad and will be training to gain experience and will officially join them today after lunch. I looks at the paper again and thought.

'But why though? I know that my ability warrants attention but for some reason, it feels like something else is at play.' I thought before I snap back to reality and found Mina blissfully eating my meat bun.

"Thanks for telling." I said."By the way, where is Vice President?" I said looking around.

"Hm? Oh, she's at her private office. Is something the matter?" Shi Yoon said.

"Ah, yes. Here, can you give it to Vice President?" I asked taking out the final container.

"Oh, sure thing." Shi Yoon said taking the container I take out."And here for ALT Squad as well." I said taking out the last container.

"Well, see you later, then," I said excusing myself and returning back to my station.

I continue my work trying to get rid of the uneasy feelings and just try to focus in general. Though, the next thing I knew, there were no papers at my side. I looks to my right side and found no paper that I need to work and looks to the left and found a stack of papers sitting there. Turns out, I finished my work even without realizing it and Manager Kim just looks at me with forced smile and Lena and Chloe just stared without blinking.

"Y/n." Manager Kim said.

"Yes?" I answered her.

"You can go ahead and eat lunch first and prepare for transfer." Manager Kim said with a strain in her voice.

And so, I was kicked out and right now, I am just sitting on the rooftop of Coffin Company.

3rd Pov

"M-Manager Kim.." Lena stutters looking at the paperwork I made.

"Hah." Manager Kim exhaled as she looks at a stack of paperwork that Y/n made."Good grief, I need to request something from Vice President if this keeps happening." She said that Y/n is a good employee but his proficiency is too good because he always finishes his job fast and has the least mistake. Because of this, the job that he solves is created a sense of being too fast and the Vice President can't handle the paper workload and that's why Manager Kim has to help to manage it.

"Sorry, Manager Kim, the fairy spirits say we're in trouble," Chloe said without any shame.

"Chloe! Don't say things like that!" Lena loudly retorted.

"But it's true!"

Both of them continue to argue while Manager Kim is massaging her head temple.

"Guess I should request Vice President."

Y/n Pov

'So, you're saying that I have a new function?' I thought to Omicron.

"Yes."

'Display it.'

"Understood.Displaying new Function."

'Time to study then.' I thought.'Omicron, transfer that knowledge of how to use the function.'
