Prologue

"A legend.. truly. He's been here for how long you say?" questioned a being covered head-to-toe in midnight blue armor. A dark presence loomed in the corner, sporting a similar suit of armor. There was no part of either of them that was not concealed within their armor.

"He's only been at it for a short amount of time. In the few years that he has been competing he has already gained a substantial following as well as become incredibly powerful himself. I've never seen anything like it. It's almost as if he is one of us," the dark presence loomed. It was covered in a lush-yet-dark-green set of armor with two violently purple-black stripes streaking down the entirety of it. Their voices were raspy and robotic in nature. Their armor moved flawlessly with their bodies, even at the most subtle gesture. It was almost as if the armor was them and they were the armor.

Seventeen stars surrounded the absolutely massive technological terror that the two dwelled within. It was a near-perfect sphere at a distance. If one could get closer they would see the remains of an old volcanic planet that once stood in its place with a mere three stars. The terror sucked out an endless stream of raw power from the multitude of stars surrounding it, each of which grew ever-so-slightly dimmer at every passing moment.

"I haven't seen you in ages, Snano," the dark presence casually commented.

Snano stood to the side with his arms crossed. "I couldn't pass up the opportunity. I genuinely believe that we may have rediscovered one of the original ones." There was a brief moment of silence. "What exactly are you going to do about our little over-achiever?"

Sighing heavily, the dark presence reacted. "I believe a sort of confrontation is in order."

"That's terribly risky. What if they are one of us? Your life ending would become an option. Imagine if they were to launch a crusade."

"I'm honestly just surprised you haven't tried to kill me yet." The dark green armor shifted in the room illuminated only by a faint glow from a singular overbearing light. The light flickered, if only for just a moment. In the flash of light, fully-metallic walls bloomed into fleeting sight. A heavy door was behind them, bolted shut. It was as if the room were meant to contain a nuclear explosion.

"What would be the point? You split your consciousness into so many bodies that it would be near impossible to entirely get rid of you," Snano observed. "Plus, then you would retaliate by trying to kill me. I am, after all, only one entity."
