Estelle
The weekend ends quickly, and our regular training regime goes back into effect.
A big part of me yearns to apologize to Leeciy, but the smallest prideful part, denies it.
Latonya and I walk in together, just like we did the last time, and look around.
Daxx was beating up a poor practice dummy, and Leeciy was engaging in tactical stealth training.
I look away, seething.
"C'mon Estelle, let's stretch!" Latonya suggests, dragging me over to the mats.
We stretch for a little while, before Stellan shows up
"Today, we're sparring, to improve our fighting." He announces walking over to the boxing ring.
Latonya and I fight first.
She chooses a pine staff as her weapon, I choose a foam-tipped ax.
We stand opposite sides of the ring.
"Okay ladies, three... two... one..." Stellan says.
Latonya swings the staff skillfully, and I tuck and roll to the side.
She's quicker, she teleports next to me, which gives me little time to evade, which I do unsuccessfully.
She hits me with her pine staff, which doesn't hurt entirely.
I push off with my feet, and run towards her, swinging my ax blindly, which hits her side.
She hits me with her staff again.
We go on for a few minutes before Stellan calls it quits.
Leeciy and Daxx go next, which is an odd sight.
Daxx is pure muscle, which bulks him out a bit.
Leeciy is lean muscle, which doesn't make him weak. He still has plenty of strength.
It starts with Daxx throwing a punch, which Leeciy dodges with ease.
Daxx turns to find Leeciy ready with a punch, which he releases right onto his cheek.
"Oof." Latonya whispers.
Daxx tries and punch Leeciy, but he quickly moves, hitting Daxx again.
It wasn't long before Stellan put a stop to this.
Next up was Leeciy against me.
The match started simply, with a little unsuccessful hand to hand before things got carried away.
He refused to actually inflict pain on me, and I could tell by the way he was dodging punches and not really dealing them, that angered me.
I kept hitting, and missing before I just stepped toward him and started pounding his chest, trying to do some sort of damage on him.
He was rolling with it.
"Estelle stop!" Stellan yells. "Estelle!"
Daxx climbs onto the mat and pulls me off effortlessly.
Leeciy's look was indiscernible, as he looked at me.
Stellan walked over to Leeciy, talking quietly.
"Latonya, take Estelle to the other room please." Stellan asks.
We walk out, which is basically Latonya dragging me out.
I heard angry bickering behind the door before it went silent.
Stellan stomps out walking to the office, slamming that door too.

I was sent to the Parliament building, where I was sent to a flamboyant-looking Pangaean.
Their office was small and minimalist, the silence was maddening.
I sat across from them, my arms folded against my chest, multiple cuts and forming bruises on my hand.
They adjust their hat before reaching forward, placing a piece of paper on the desk. "Write how you feel on there, maximum of five words."
I lean forward, staring at the piece of paper before writing 'hurt.'
"Your handwriting's hideous." They say, watching me closer.
I scrawl two more words down.
'annoyed'
'angry'
I take a breath before writing the last word in my mind.
'betrayed'
"Why do you feel betrayed?" They ask, leaning forward.
I shrug. "We had a... disagreement last night."
"About?"
"There was one topic, but there was a lot of things that weren't said that we both picked up on." I answer.
"Hurt?" They ask.
I lean back, looking at the ceiling. "He's important to me, and y'know when people you care about use specific things against you, it hurts."
"Like what specific things?"
"My ex." I mutter.
"What were they like?" He asks.
"They were clingy, but I didn't really understand love, so I just went with it." I reply. "Of course, now he's not breathing."
The shrink nods their head. "You're ex didn't hurt you?"
"He didn't."
"What about Leeciy?" He asks.
"I don't think Leeciy's thought about hurting me, ever." I answer.
"You favor Leeciy." They point out.
I shrug.
"It's a fact actually." They say. "You tense talking about your ex and you relax at the mention of him."
"I do?"
"You do." They affirm. "You want to hurt Leeciy?"
"No, never." I answer. "I was frustrated, and I had a lot of pent up anger."
"Anger."
"Yes, anger." I repeat.
"Do you feel better now?" They ask, settling back into their office chair.
I nod. "A little."
They nod back. "How long have you been fond of Leeciy?"
"What do you mean by fond?"
"You're interested in him, romantically." They say. "Obviously."
I purse my lips. "It's not like that."
"Oh?" They lean forward interested. "Explain it to me."
"We're friends, that's it." I lie, biting my tongue.
They nod. "And you have a son?"
"Not biologically, but technically, yeah." I answer.
"How do you know him?"
"He's my ex's younger brother." I reply. "I got full custody of him when August died."
"August." The shrink repeats. "Is he your ex?"
I nod.
They mirror my actions. "Okay, well, as a therapist, I have a list of directions from higher parliament."
"What comes after this?" I ask.
"Well, we actually isolate you."
"Doesn't that drive people mad?" I ask.
"You're not gonna be alone, and it won't be long." They answer. "Only a day."
"Where do you isolate me?" I ask. "In a concrete box with nothing but my thoughts?"
"Please stop the sarcasm." They prompt, before going on. "The room's actually pretty lavish, there's beds, and a couch. No windows of any sort, but you won't just have thoughts with you."
"Who'll be with me?" I ask. "You?"
"No, I have other patients to attend to." They answer.
I purse my lips. "Then who?" I ask.
They look over my shoulder, just as the door opens.
I turn around, and see Leeciy, a bulky guard holding his arm.
The shrink chuckles awkwardly. "Him."
