I woke up feeling weak and pathetic. I hated feeling this way and tried to remember what had happened.

Arrow. Bluerose. Heart. Chanyeol. Blue fire.

I almost died and Chanyeol saved me and the whole clan. It was true that white tiger shifters are extremely powerful but seeing it with my own two eyes was amazing.

Chanyeol was amazing. He was perfect. Better than the mate I had imagined for myself.

MATE. Is that what he was to me? Only werewolves and shifters could easily identify their mates. It wasnt that simple for us vampires.

Could it be? The sparks I felt when he touched me. The way I was drawn to him from the first time I laid eyes on him. The way I felt around him. They way I longed for him when he wasn't around.

I wanted Chanyeol. No. I needed him to be mine. He was perfect for me. My King.

I had never submitted to anyone but I was more than willing to submit to him. I had to make him mine as soon as possible.

With that goal in mind I opened my eyes only to be blinded by the lights.

"shit" I mumbled as I turned to look away.

"Oh sorry" I heard Lay as he walked away from the bed dimmed the lights and then walked back.

" How are you feeling?" he asked as he helped me sit up and lean on the headboard.

"I feel terrible" I whispered because my throat was dry and sore.

This is the second time I have been poisoned with bluerose.

The first time it was put in our blood source. These are humans who willingly give themselves to vampires for feeding.

Someone injected the woman with bluerose and it could not be easily traced this way. I wasnt very thirsty that day and so I survived.

I can't say the same for my parents. In an hour they were dead. I passed out and woke up with my grandfather (he is actually my great great great great grandfather who was like 2000 years old).

I was just 16years at the time and lived with him until I was 100years old. That's basically the age we are allowed to go out on our own and that's when I began to build my empire with nothing to start with.

My grandfather and I had different values so he did not accept my decisions. I was a prince but after losing so many children and grand children to power struggles he never wanted to be a part of it.q

I was born to be a leader and so I was going to be a great one no matter what. He is shocked I'm still alive and will actually be the next King soon if all goes well.

"Here have some blood" Lay said as he held a glass and put a straw in my mouth.

When I was done I felt a lot better but I was still weak. I was bedridden twice in a month. This was not good.

"Where is everyone? Are they alright?" I asked.

"We lost a few people from the north side. Everyone from here is fine though. Suho did some serious damage control and took care of the families who lost members. You have been out for a week. The poison was strong but thankfully Chanyeol sucked as much as he could out before you were brought back home. My job was made easier" Lay explained.

"Chanyeol" I said a bit louder.

"We were all amazed by his abilities. Suho thought he was lazy but even before he wiped out the rest of the werewolf army he had already taken out like 50 of them. He is definitely powerful and the perfect bodyguard for you. Other than that he is very protective of you. Everyone was crazy worried about you but he wouldn't allow anyone but Fang and I near you. You definitely got a keeper" Lay said with a smile.

Chanyeol really was amazing. Soon Lay walked out and advised me to get some rest.

As he walks out Chanyeol entered in his animal form. He was beautiful and always shook my unbeating heart.

He got on the bed and lay next to me. He shifted into his human form and wrapped his arm around my waist as he pulled me towards his chest.

I felt sparks fly between us. I wish I had the energy to do what I really wanted and craved to do to him right now.

As if reading my mind he turned my body so that now we were facing each other.

He leaned forward and kissed me on the lips. It was soft and sweet.

He then took my head and lead me to his throat. I was a bit confused until he spoke.

"Feed. My blood with give you more strength for less than human blood" he said.

I licked his neck just to taste his skin which was delicious. What more his blood?

Suddenly feeling thirsty I sunk my teeth into his neck and OH MY GOODNESS they could never be sweeter blood than this.

He was right. The more I drank the more normal I felt. I would have needed 10 more glasses just to get on my feet with human blood.

He groaned from my pleasurable bite as he gripped me tighter against his chest. I could feel his hardon brush against mine and moaned in pleasure.

As soon as I had my fill I pulled out and licked the blood off his neck as the wounds healed.

Loving the way he felt against me I kept rubbing against him as he did the same.

"Ahhhh...." I moaned as he grazed his teeth against my neck.

"Please" again I begged and I didn't even know what I was begging for.

All I knew is that I needed something and he was the only one who could give it to me.

"Al meu" he whispered against my throat. I still didn't understand what he was saying but I wanted to hear him say the word over and over again.

I moaned louder as we rubbed harder against each other and soon we both came.

So I'm back. I had informed on my message board that I would not be available for some days. For those who love my books and wonder why I'm so quiet just check my message board once in a while. I might have left y'all a message.
