I took a deep breath before looking up at Chanyeol who still stood leaning against my door.

He didn't say a word but I knew he was with me all the the way.

I stood up and walked towards him as if my body worked on its on.

Standing in front of him I pulled his head down as his lips crashed into mine.

In all my 299years I had never felt this way.

The moment our lips met electric shocks spread throughout my body.

It didn't take him 5 seconds to take over the kiss and I was literally on cloud nine.

He picked me up and slammed my back against the door.

I wrapped my legs around his waist as he pinned his body against mine.

Considering that he didn't have a shirt on I could feel his muscles as my hands roamed around his shoulders.

I gasped when he grabbed my ass and he dipped his tongue in my mouth and deepened the kiss so hard I thought he was going to devour me.

It seemed he was as eager as I was and I was more than happy to give into his needs.

I leaned on the wall for balance before I took a deep breath.

I looked up to Chanyeol who just stared at me with lust filled eyes as he licked his lips.

I just wanted to kiss him again but my responsibilities as leader came before my needs.

I unlocked the door and I was about to give Suho hell when he ran in a panicked state.

"What's going on?" I immediately asked on high alert.
"We just received a distress call from th e far east side and north side of our clan lands. They are under attack" Suho said as fast as he could.

Shit. While I was here making out with Chanyeol the clan was under attack.

My phone immediately rang and I quickly answered it.

"Say goodbye to your little clan my prince. I warned you but you have forced my hand. Today your reign ends" he said and immediately cut the call.

How did I miss a fully planned attack on my clan. No one has ever gotten this close.

"What's the situation?" I asked.

"As soon as I found out about the attack 10 minutes ago I was able to get Minho and his warriors to go and handle the situation. More reinforcements are heading there as well. I got the distress call from the north side 3 minutes ago and came straight to you" Suho explained.

"Since we are closer we have to hurry and protect them. Get Luhan to call everyone and nearby warriors to get there ASAP and eliminate the threat. None of them should leave here alive because no one harms my people and gets away with it" I roared and everyone got to action.

All shifters headed there in their animal forms which would be faster than a car.

Kris carried the rest and by the time we got there the battle was full blown.

We were being attacked by werewolves this time and both sides had already lost a great amount of people.

A werewolf lunged in my direction but I was able to dodge it before grabbing it around the throat before using all my strength to crush its bones killing it instantly.

I did the same for the next 15 werewolves. We were strong but there were just too many.

"Baek watch out" it was too late as an arrow struck me on the shoulder.

I pulled it out but the wound felt like someone had poured burning larvae. At that moment I knew that the arrow had been dipped in blue rose.

It was a rare flower that was poisonous to vampires and deadly when stabbed into our unbeating hearts.

I looked up to see who had shot the arrow but I was too late because another was headed straight for me.

Weakened by the poison I suddenly felt numb and couldn't move. Everything seemed to move in slow motion as everyone screamed for me to move but I was stuck. I prepared for the impact but it never came.

I opened my my eyes to see the arrow right before my heart...where Chanyeol had caught it.

Without wasting time he turned around and threw the arrow back hitting the archer right in the heart.

He caught me before I hit the ground and had an expression I would only read as pure anger in his eyes.

After placing me on the ground he shifted back into his animal form before releasing the loudest and most pourful roar I had ever heard before in my life and everything stopped.

I didn't know or understand what he was doing but I told Luhan to make sure everyone came to our side while leaving the enemy on the other.

Chanyeol stood in between in all his glory before shifting into his human form.

He looked back to me as if to ask for approval and I nodded my head in response.

The wolves before him growled and they got ready to attack.

"I would advise everyone to take cover" he commanded in his deep dominant voice before turning back to the enemy.

All he did was snap his finger before a blue flame appeared in his palm. Before my mind could register what was happening every single enemy that was before us had turned to ashes as I lost consciousness.
