Constellations 3

"Uggghhh..." I groaned as I struggled to open my eyes.

I was blinded by a bright light and had to close my eyes. I titled my head to the side before I opened them again and I came face to face with Fang.

"Oppa. Oh my gosh oppa. I was so scared I had lost you" Fang said as she threw her tiny body on me in a tight hug. If I needed to breath I would have surely suffocated.

"Let me tell the others you are awake" she said before running out of the room.

I looked around and realized I was in my bedroom. I was wondering what had happened when the memories of the attack came back to me.

The door opened again and I heard a lot of footsteps. I tried to sit up which was close to impossible.

"Stop. You're too weak to move on your own" Lay, Suhos mate said as he helped me up.

Lay was half unicorn and had the ability to heal.

"How long have I been out cold?" I asked.

"A week" Suho responded. I didn't have the energy to respond and just looked at him with tires eyes.

Wow. That's the longest I have ever been out. At most it had been a day but a whole weak was too much.

"What happened after..."

"Don't worry about it. We were able to get out of there before reinforcements arrived" Suho explained.

"Drink this" Lay said as he held a glass filled with blood and put a straw in my mouth.

Five glasses later I was telling a whole lot better and could move on my own.

"That was too close. Baek the opposition means business and I think you need extra protection" Suho said and everyone agreed.

"That's not necessary"  I said.

"No Baek. You're our leader and potentially the future leader of all kinds. Your life is very important and so we value your protection more than our own. I have already called Xuimin and Chen. They create the best human weapons and are willing to provide us with someone who will be able to protect you. I was going to go today but since you are now awake we can go together and check it out" Suho explained.

"I guess I have no choice" I said as I got up. Sometimes I questioned who was the leader between us in moments like this.      

As soon as they all left I took a hot relaxing shower and dressed up. I still felt a bit weak and so I took a bottle of blood for the road as Suho led us out.

Xuimin and Chen were wizards and old friends on mine. Chen had the ability to control lighting while his mate had the ability to freeze anything into ice.

They created a secret society of assassins that got rid of the bad guys. They were basically the unseen police force of our world.

The only difference is that instead of locking up a threat they killed it.

"Prince Baekhyun its good to see you again" they both greeted me with a bow.

"Its good to see you too. How many times do I have to ask you to just call me Baek" I responded with a smile.

"We have to respect those of higher authority.  On top of that you are our soon to be King" Xuimin said and I just nodded in response.

We went around as they introduced us to different people of different kinds. They told us their abilities and years of experience but no one seemed to interest me.

They all just seemed ordinary. I needed someone who could surpass everyone back in the clan.

Whoever was to become my bodyguard needed to be extraordinary. 

It was lunchtime and we headed to the cafeteria to mix and mingle some more with more people while getting a bite to eat.

In my case I would be getting something to drink. My one week of sleep had caused be to keep craving blood like a newborn.

I was getting bored when we decided to take a walk out back.

They had vast training grounds that connected to a thick forest.

"If you are tired we can return tomorrow"  Suho suggested since we had been here for almost half the day with no clear results.

"Lets just get it over with. Keep checking with Xuimin and Chen. I just need to take a short break" I turned away as he walked back in.

This place was surrounded by assassins who were on my side and so I was safe as long as I stayed on the location.  

I took a short walk towards the forest when I noticed something in the distance.

It was...it was a white tiger. I couldn't believe my eyes. They were said to be extinct but here was one resting at the edge of the forest right in front of me.

I had only seen pictures in books and on the internet but they would never have been able to prepare me for the beauty before me.

I was mesmerised and just when I thought I couldn't be more amazed the beast stood up revealing its huge strong body. It was five times the size of a normal tiger.

The beast slowely walked into the forest and that was when I snapped back to reality.

No. I couldn't lose it. I had to see this beautiful beast up close and that's when I ran in its direction.

I searched through the forest but the majestic beast of had disappeared.  I was about to give up when my back was slammed against a tree, hands locked above my head and hand around my neck.

I tried to get lose but whoever held me was much stronger than I was and that was very rare considering I'm of royal pure blood and the most powerful of my kind.

I looked up at my capture and got trapped in the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen.

He was very tall and bulky. He had silver white hair the most gorgeous facial features and pink kissable lips.

He wasn't wearing a shirt and so I could see his huge muscular arms , toned chest and eight pack.

I wanted to run my fingers all over his muscled body. Just to feel how...whoa whoa whoa what are you thinking about Baek.

This guy could be here to kill you and all you are doing is eye rapping him.

I shoot my head to clear it and focus before looking back at his eyes.

"Who are you and why were you following me?" He asked with a deep barritone voice that sent shivers down my spine.

My thoughts went wild again.

"I'm...sorry...I saw a tiger and i..." I was stuttering. I have never stuttered before in my life.

That's when I noticed the white tiger ears twitch on his head and the tail that wrapped around my legs to keep them in place.

"You...its you" I said in shock. The magestic tiger was more beautiful in his human form.

He was definitely and very dorminant and powerful being.

He looked at me with an expression I couldn't read before he buried his face in my hair and inhaled.

"Al meu" he whispered in a foreign language and his voice just sent shivers down my spine.

I didn't know who he was or what he could do but I made my decision.

He was to be my new personal body guard. The only problem was I wasn't sure if that was the only thing I wanted from him.
