~

Every day felt so enterprisingly hectic in these past two months for Sejal from keeping up with all the developments to lead on with her new role because once she takes over her father was going to officially retire. Which only meant that she should be having precised idea about everything happening under her nose, her job as a doctor has come in jeopardy because of the ownership role.

Now all it mattered was her persistence to know the business world better and have insights of visionary ideas leading by a fresh team. Numerous date nights with business delegates and few highly posted staff members of RCSM helped her in getting into the shoes to run this massive organization.

At times Sejal cursed the ominous hour when Tiger had given her a better perception of holding power although it wasn't his fault because who would have guessed a talk with an unknown would give her the boost and confidence to finally take up something which she had dreaded not to do all her life.

Sleepless nights which exactly weren't without sleep, could be better termed sleep deprived nights and lots of logical appreciating help from the IT team improvised her schedule. In short there were meetings with new people every other day, either her father would accompany her or Aryan.

Now-a-days she hardly got time to see her little group of friends or it seemed that they were also quite busy in their own schedules. Only the one thing that kept her from being a workaholic zombie was Aryan, the love of her life.

There were defiantly no flowers or sweets in his proposal but his attitude towards Sejal was all caring and protective. Every day he made sure she didn't miss lunch or dinner by any chance, or he would simply send a cup of coffee filled with a heart to her cabin to keep her remotely away from the stockpile of files and laptop. Life has been romantically workaholic for Sejal very lately.

Obviously Aryan insisted on buying a ring but Sejal felt she was being time deprived these days or either she is in desperate needs of joining time management institutes because she instead suggested to directly buy a wedding ring, so they were still stuck with an engagement bracelet!

"You can sleep on the bed Dr Shetty."

This was not the first time Sejal was crashing at his apartment, her place was far from RCSM and she couldn't spend her two hours of sleep sulking in her office chair and getting up with no makeup cringe look so this has become her residing dormitories.

And whenever she was here, he would take the uncomfortable couch giving up lame excuses that the other room was dusty or whatever his head could conjure up at the spur of moment. But today Sejal was determined to make him sleep on the bed if not by persuasion and then better by sexual linger.

"Nice try, but you know I like the couch." Aryan said arranging a sheet on his couch as a planning on sleeping there.

Aryan sat on the delicately arranged sheet and found the most alluring vision in front him, Sejal was staring at him hungrily-he couldn't miss the raw lust. Aryan was so glad that he listened to Darshan's advice on that day because settling down is finally giving him peace. He can really grow old watching his Sejal have grey hair and now he was so tempted to make love to his lady so that it could consume all her tensions and make her happy at least for a temporary amount of time.

"And why are you just in your bra?"

Sejal could already see her actions working on because Aryan's voice came out much hoarse than his plain velvet tone. She couldn't help but settle on his laps and crane her hand around his neck being happy that Katyusha has changed her undergarment wardrobe into some sexy lingerie shop, which was bummer in this situation because somehow this morning Sejal managed to put on a black lacy one. For a matter of fact Aryan is so in love with that colour so here goes his one more way down to resist her.

Aryan gave a satisfactory smile of lust staring her lips then grazing at her sexy body and the way she was sitting on him was enough for an arousal, but he didn't want to unleash the beast of sexual desires in him. But Sejal was determined to get him on the bed.

Sejal leaned forward and captured his lips taking Aryan by surprise, he let her devour his lips and let out a groan of pleasure when Sejal bit his lower lip. The room filled with the voices of both their heavy breaths as their hearts were beating crazy, every time they kiss it is all fireworks and always feels like they taste each other for the first time. Maybe this is the spark that keeps their relationship alive.

With much of teasing lips, hounding moans and grinding bodies the kiss turned into something sexually deeper and now with legs around his waist Aryan was taking Sejal on the bed. Although Sejal had just started to lure him to bed, but now she wanted more maybe it was because of the tons of workload on her head.

In one swift moment Aryan went to pull her bra making her blush with nakedness but that is when guilt plunged into the moment, so she decided to bring this to a stop knowing well that Aryan didn't store any condoms.

"Do you have a condom?"

Sejal asked as Aryan was busy devouring the woman shape giving part of her body. Maybe listening to the word condom but lightening into the room as suddenly he started fixing up her bra and pushing her to sleep on the bed.

"We, being doctors wouldn't want to commit a non-protection blunder."

Aryan said giving a long sweet kiss on her lips and settling on the bed besides her making the mattress sunk deeper. Both of their body radiation screamed how sexually frustrated they were, but Aryan knew well to respect protection.

Coming to Sejal, every time she kissed or hugged him she felt guilty about keeping him in the dark. After his proposal she trusts their love knowing that Aryan could handle the truth. But there was always something that kept stopping her.

"Good Night Muneca."

Aryan whispered snuggling close to her and circling his one arm around her waist which made her body shift towards him.

~

"Where are you?"

People would think Sejal mad was simply shouting in the air because in actual her open hair was covering the Bluetooth earpiece, for some reasons she and Tiger has formed an acquaintance of becoming emotional emergency solution task force.

"I am going out grocery shopping."

Sejal had to double check the time because eleven thirty in the night was quite an odd timing to go food material hunting. She took the address of the shop where he was heading to and turned her heel around because luckily it was just a ten minute walk from where she was.

After ten dreading minutes she found herself checking the empty roads near the tiny supermarket for any trace of Tiger, literally she had to shout through her earpiece again for him to appear out of nowhere. But it seemed that the supermarket was closing so Tiger has crouched on a nearby stone and was searching online apps for groceries.

But the determination trait in Sejal made her walk towards the man who was closing the shop. At first she requested to allow them for five minutes when that man didn't budge Tiger gave her the I-told-you-so-look.

"I need menstrual pads, now would you want a girl to stain her night with blood?"

Tiger looked at Sejal with a new found amazement for this lady, when she is hell bent on doing something she definitely does because now she had convinced the man to let them in saying she couldn't trust a stranger so she needed Tiger to accompany her.

When the man insisted on bringing it for her Sejal said he wouldn't know which type and company she prefers. So, at last the man gave up and let them in. That was quite better than nagging with a pretty lady, wise decision.

"I didn't know you were so desperate to spend time with me?"

Tiger said throwing a bag of pulses in the trolley as the man kept shouting that it was inappropriate to trick him at his own shop.

"It is something very important- Hey, brother you can shut down the shutter and I assume we have a back exit."

The owner seemed satisfied with this solution because he didn't want to garner more customers at this hour so he went to shut the shutter from inside.

"So, what do you want from me?"

"Obviously an advice-wait did you ask me to pick up coriander leaves or mint?"

Tiger laughed amused that Aryan is going to suffer a lot in the kitchen section because it seemed that his dearest sister-in-law had a very subtle knowledge about groceries.

"Just take the both of them. Now shoot."

"There is a situation like-you know-there is somebody I am close to and obviously we love each other, but I may have done something to hurt them unknowingly and now I know that because of me they had gone through much but now we are just fine. So, should I tell them that it was me or just hide the truth?"

Tiger chuckled not understanding whom she was talking about, he most probably assumed it was something to do with her father.

"Any more details you can provide?"

"Umm-yeah. I got to know this a few months back and we are doing all good but every time the guilt makes me feel like vomiting. I don't know what to do, but I am scared if I reveal these things may turn ugly."

Sejal said dropping a box garlic paste assuming it to be a ginger paste, by now they were done picking up necessities for Tiger and the owner very grumpily compiled the bill and showed the emergency exit to them.

"Next time if you guys want to spend some fancy time go find another shop, because this isn't a love hub!"

Sejal couldn't understand why that man shouted such a thing and she looked clueless at her acquaintance who thought that the scene amusing.

"See, if you hide and do something misunderstandings like these happen."

"What-?"

Then Tiger explained her how did the man come to such a conclusion, the time was too late and then Sejal suggested shutting the doors which indicated they were meeting secretly.

"Oh, My!"

Sejal couldn't believe miscommunication can lead to such elegant thinking!

"So, my advice would be-come clear with whatever is eating you and trust your instincts."

Saying their goodbyes, Sejal walked back to her place which gave her a little time to contemplate on things. And Tiger was partly right because she didn't want to start a relationship on the roots of secrets. Sejal knew there was no way Aryan could hate her.

~

Katyusha was readying Sejal in long black sleeveless maxi top which had a little patches of golden hearts scattered here and there. Sejal wanted everything to be in her favor when she is going to confess, so she had booked a dinner date at Aryan's favorite Italian restaurant and now she was preparing to face the day in his favorite colour.

"Don't mess with your hair or it will spoil the entire look!"

Katyusha warned Sejal like a mother telling her three year old not stain their dress with mud or unwanted colors.

"Okay Mommy."

Katyusha gave a slap on Sejal's head for calling her Mommy, and then she clicked a selfie of both and sent it to her husband.

"Aww-look, he says banana looks so good. That son of an ass didn't comment anything about my photo."

Katyusha whined and Sejal tuned her out concentrating on perfecting her composure for revelation. She has expertly chosen a private table in a hotel because Aryan can never lose self control in public. Better be prepared then sorry!

Sejal wondered what she is going to do all day till dinner maybe search mirrors and try facing revelations. Her phone buzzed, popping in a message notification from Aryan.

Hey love,

Can you please come and pick me?

I am sorta stuck :3

-Dr Shetty

Send me the location/

-Sejal

Sejal grabbed her car keys and rushed to the lift once receiving the location details. It was probably a forty-five minutes drive from her place, that's what the map showed. She was in a hurry worried that he might be in some problem because after sending the location he just disappeared with no other texts at all.

After some one hour drive Sejal couldn't believe Aryan was stuck in such a densely populated place, he could have easily found a cab any second. Aryan wasn't found anywhere as Sejal still scanned the place.

There was another message on her phone, from Aryan.

Hey love

Turn around!

-Aryan

Sejal looked back through her back glass and unsurprisingly Aryan was standing leaning slightly on the bonnet of his Audi. But what surprised her more was he was completely dressed in white, and that suited him a lot. Thankfully he wasn't in a suit or white wouldn't be looking too dapper on him.

Parking her Baleno on the left side of the road, Sejal walked to Aryan smiling nervously because it seemed that she was late in deciding a date and this was Aryan's way of inviting her on a date. Because like this it held no chances of rejection!

"You are looking beautiful, and the bracelet is giving you an awesome glow."

Aryan said hugging her and then giving a small kiss on her cheek.

"I want to tell you something."

"Okay-No Muneca, I have a surprise for you. Anything after that!"

Sejal didn't argue anymore because Aryan was so happy talking about his surprise, he led the way to a splinted lane of many independent houses and few of them smelled new.

"Are we here to meet someone?"

Sejal asked when Aryan stopped at a newly painted house, all her stakes were they came to meet his father but then would he actually be excited to meet his father. Who knows?

"How is it?"

Sejal could say the house was so beautiful from the outside with a little grassy oudoor and all she wished is go and see how its interior was.

"Charismatic."

"Like you."

Aryan said giving a peck on her lips and she could feel the love radiating from his body.

"This is our first memory in our first home."

Aryan said looking fondly at Sejal, while she stood in shock trying to grasp the fact that Aryan has bought a house for them.

~

Sejal was sitting on the kitchen platform and Aryan stood in front of her, they were discussing which color boxes they should buy to put in the shelves so it would match the décor. Sejal couldn't breathe properly because of the smell of fresh paint and the little LPG pipe which was arranged this morning.

"What did you want to say when we were outside?"

Aryan asked and Sejal's breath hitched because how much ever she was dreading to end the guilt but she would never be prepared to say something to Aryan. But again there can never be a right time again s she decided to do it.

"Uh- I am yellow."

"Huh-I thought you liked red."

Sejal could hardly manage to tell that the first time and here Aryan was making it more difficult for her.

"I am yellow-the drug dealer you were searching for."

Aryan's hold on her hand was loosened and Sejal knew that the cat was out of the bag and now there was no turning back.

"This must be a sick joke Sejal."

Aryan said with utter seriousness in his tone because there is no way he could believe her but how did Sejal know about yellow?

"Your sister bought that last batch of drugs to help me with money. Mom was sick."

With every word she was uttering Aryan moved back not able to believe whatever he was listening because there is no way that he was in love with a person whom he has hated all these years.

"Then you must know she died because of it, if she didn't have that much drug in her system maybe the doctors would have been able to save her."

Aryan said fishing for his phone because he needed to tell all this to his bestfriend Darshan.

"Whom are you calling?"

Aryan put his hand forward indicating her to not step nearer to him, Darshan picked up on the fifth ring.

"Hey Shitty I am in the bathroom, can you call back later?"

"Did you know Sejal was yellow?"

Before Darshan could reply Sejal shouted a no and pulled the phone away from Aryan crashing it on the floor.

"Dr Vyas has nothing to do with this."

Aryan couldn't believe whatever was happening to him, his best friend betrayed him to save a girl and now the same girl whom he loves is trying to save his best friend. And after all these years when he felt like finally something could be good in his life, it comes out that he can't live with the only woman he loved.

"I can't even punish you-damn that will even hurt me. I just can't be with you."

Sejal couldn't stop her tears from falling as she saw Aryan collapsing on the floor and he wouldn't even let her touch him.

"Aryan, please don't say that."

Sejal begged getting on her knees as her tears kept rolling and her blurry vision saw the pool of water in Aryan's eyes.

"The world is sick with games. I can't be with somebody who killed my sister and please I just don't want to argue with you so get lost and leave me alone."

Aryan growled and softened at the same time, it felt like he was fighting numerous emotions at the same time.

"Dr Shetty please.."

Sejal sobbed and went nearer to him but without any care he pushed her away hitting her hand on a wall, but the pain felt numb compared to whatever was happening emotionally.

"Just get lost!"

With shaking hands Sejal managed to give a kiss on his head hoping at least that would calm him but again he just pushed her away.

Giving one last look back at Aryan she dialed Tiger hoping that he would pick up because Aryan would hate the sight of Darshan at the moment. She knew Aryan needed time to heal so it's better to be away from him instead of hurting him with her presence.

Grazing her steps out to the road she said an urgent Hello when Tiger picked up but before she could say something else a noise on the back made her run back to the house dropping her phone in hurry.

A large blasting sound came in and then there was fire erupting from the house. Sejal ran towards the entrance knowing that Aryan would still be in the kitchen and this fire could be a result of poor connection of LPG supply.

A large wood blazing with fire came crashing on the same hand which hit the wall awhile back and the main door fell ajar on her making her fly down on the grass she loved. Her body felt so numb and she couldn't move any of her body parts. One last attempt to stand and she fell in a nose breaking posture on the ground.

She felt helpless.

She saw the house catching higher flames. The same house which was going to be her sweet home. The world kept spinning around her.

All she could think is how her life had turned upside down in the past hours. She experienced the raw love of Aryan and his exciting joy to start a family. And then she even gave a grieving pain to the person she loved the most. In short she has ended everybody's life in jeopardy.

Before the darkness consumed her all she could think is the way Aryan always looked at her with love. And she knew Aryan didn't hate her because there is nothing like hate in her books, it is just that he loved his sister more than her.

Maybe the world was so cruel to match a fate which had both, love and hate for the same person with different reasons.

. . . . .

*you are not allowed to kill me*

Finally here we have the end of Connecting Dots and I honestly don't know what I am supposed to say.

We had a glimpse of love, lust, friendship, new acquaintance and lastly the betrayal! More what would you want in a finale chapter?

Somebody asked me to do a blast, so here I am with a real blast (;

>>

I couldn't give them a happy ending because I don't think I can ever live with the man who would be somehow also responsible of killing my sister!

And no, this is not my last author's note.

Yes! This is the last chapter.

And all I can promise you guys is an epilogue.

Love,

Sana Afreen.
