It's a week after homecoming, and the Midtown Tigers would be facing their ultimate rival on Friday's game. Robin and Ace would both be cheering. They would be doing their biggest mount. The cheer ends with 3 of the squad up in the air. Ace and Robin were always paired, and the other base was a girl in 11th named Kristen. Kristen was new to the whole base idea, and wasn't great with keeping Robin up. Several times Ace would bruise a hip diving under a falling Robin.

The game was about to start and the squad was stretching out and going over a few cheers. Ace spots Peter and Ned, who don't play basketball, up in the bleachers. A large sign that Peter held said, "Go Ace, Robin, and Shawn!"

Ace turns to Robin, who was watching Shawn warm up. He had been accepted immediately into the team, and soon became one of the team's best scorers.

"You ready?" Robin nods. "If Kristen drops you, I've got you covered." Robin smiles at Ace's confidence. Her friend had never dropped her, and had saved her a broken tailbone plenty of times.

The buzzer sounds and the game begins.

Halftime was here and the cheer was almost over. Ace quickly adjusts Robin's foot so she's steady. In two seconds, Robin is up. Ace checks Kristen.

'Oh no.' She thinks. Kristen didn't have Robin's foot correctly and her always-shaking hands shook like never before. The world seems to go in slow-motion as Robin's foot slips. Ace dives underneath the girl as she comes down, but not quickly enough. Ace notices how Kristen accidentally twists Robin's foot and Robin lands on the foot as she falls into Ace's lap. She immediately cries out and clutches her leg.

Shawn had seen the entire accident. He watches in shock as Ace moves to catch Robin. Robin's cry churned his blood. Now, Robin lay on the floor as her coach runs over.

"They need to get her off the court. We won't be able to play if they don't." Jackson, a basketball-obsessed senior, comments. Shawn immediately turns on him. 

"She was just dropped and probably twisted an ankle, and all you're worried about is the game." Shawn retorts before running over to Robin.

"It might be broken. Let's get you off the court and to the hospital for an exam." Shawn hears Robin's coach say.

"I can carry her off." Shawn volunteers. The coach nods and Shawn gently picks Robin up, following Ace to an empty seat next to a blonde-haired girl. After Shawn sets Robin down, Ace turns him to her.

"Go back to the team. They need you. I'll help Robin." Shawn nods reluctantly and runs back to the huddle. Ace bends over Robin, pulling out a pair of glasses.

"Didn't know you wore glasses." Robin says through clenched teeth.

"I don't. These are x-ray glasses. Tony helped me build them." Ace says, slipping them on. An x-ray of Robin's foot appears. Her ankle was covered in red. "You didn't break it, but it is sprained." Ace concludes.

"How did you do that?" Ace and Robin turn to the girl next to them. Her light blue eyes shone in curiosity. Ace looks at Robin before replying.

"My glasses showed me by taking an x-ray."

"That's so cool!" The girl exclaims. "Michelle Michaels."

"I remember you! You're Seth's girlfriend, right?" Robin says. The girl nods, looking over at the light-haired point guard. As they wait for the ambulance, Ace and Robin chat with Michelle. They agree to talk more as the paramedics arrive.

"Hope you get well quickly!"

Shawn: How is she?

Ace: She sprained her ankle, but otherwise ok. She'll have to use crutches all next week though.

Shawn: Kk. Stopping by now. I'll see you in the room.

Shawn quickly finds Robin's room and knocks on the door. Ace appears from behind the door.

"Hey, come on it. She's awake." Ace moves aside, letting Shawn in. "The Lion King" was on, and Robin was munching on McDonald's fries, most likely sneaked in by Ace.

"Hi, Shawn. Did we win?" Shawn shakes his head.

"Didn't lose by much, though." Robin nods.  

"You shoot a lot?" Shawn shakes his head again. "Why?"

"I couldn't think much after the accident, much less play. I was worried about you." Robin smiles.

"You're so cute. Come here." She pats the bedside. Shawn walks over and wraps Robin in a hug. "I'll be okay.
