Chapter 19 - Revenge
A/N: Dane's picture above for you! :)
Chloe's POV
We pulled up a couple of roads down from Gio's and got ready for what might possibly be the last fight we have with this group. If we messed them up enough they wouldn't bother us anymore. I shut off the car engine and with that all of my emotions. We were here now, that was it. Nothing was going to change what was about to go down.
"You ready?" Eli looked at me, his face bare lit by the street lamps outside. It was pitch black outside, the street lamps dim and yellow. Gio's was obviously closed but we knew the gang liked to hang out in the back of it, where we'd had our fight before. I looked over to Eli, butterflies in my stomach, and nodded.
"Course. Just like old times." I said again. I still wanted him to forget about WWE and the job offer and I'd do anything in my power if it meant he would have his mind taken off it long enough to lose the hatred he was feeling towards them. They were decent people, they didn't need us wrecking the place twice. We got out of the car and I locked it up, throwing the keys into my jacket pocket. I didn't bring anything valuable with me, other than those, just in case this fight turned sour and they stole my belongings and made my life a living hell. I didn't need them calling my family and friends or using my credit cards. Most people would think I was overreacting but believe me, I wasn't. It wasn't often you fought a gang for the third time in a short period of time, especially if we were sneaking up on them. They were going to be livid and happy to ruin our lives. I wouldn't be surprised if my injuries were a lot worse from this fight than they were last time. That's going to look good tomorrow when I go into WWE again tomorrow morning. As long as they didn't aim for my face I was going to be ok. I could hide other injuries with clothes.
We snuck along the alleyways to the back of Gio's and paused when we heard voices. We knelt down behind some bins and listened intently.
"I can't believe it. Three of you and you couldn't even hold off Eli and Chloe!" Graham was shouting at the gang, obviously word must have spread about their defeat. "I leave you for a few seconds and come back to see you all face down on the floor? What an embarrassment!"
"Boss, we weren't expecting it!" Reece tried to make up an excuse but Graham wasn't having any of it.
"You were holding one of them against a wall!" He shouted back, the sound of a slap echoing and bouncing off the walls around us. "You all got thrown off by a girl! A tiny one at that."
"She's actually a really good fighter." Yusuf said quickly. "She caught us by surprise and she knew what to do. I'd go as far to say that she was the best fighter of the two." I bit my lips together and hid the goofy smile I wanted to show because Eli was next to me fuming over the fact he'd been told he fought worse than a girl.
"Well Eli did pretty well holding off two of us!" Dane added in.
"This is not a bloody competition for fucks sake!" Graham shouted and another slap echoed around the building. "We got our asses handed to us and we're the laughing stock of this area! You guys need to buck your ideas up and you need to do it now!"
"I didn't see you running over to help us." Yusuf argued back. "If I remembered rightly, you just ran off like a scared child." They continued arguing, their voices in contention to be heard over each other. What a perfect time to attack someone, their emotions would be everywhere from the fight they'd probably not even be concentrating.
"Now's the perfect time." Eli said and gestured us to move forwards. We snuck along the alleyway, feeling around for anything that could be used as a weapon again.
"Do you think the wheelie bin would work again? I've got an idea..." I said to Eli, whispering the idea into his ear. He nodded in approval as we moved forwards to put our plan into place. We loaded the bin with anything and everything we could find that could possibly be used as a weapon and then Eli jumped into it, shutting the lid. I began pushing the bin along the alleyway and towards the gang, whistling a tune to seem inconspicuous yet to bring attention.
"Who the hell are you?" One of them barked at me.
"God! We let you hang out at the back of our restaurant and you question me when I bring a bin full of rubbish round the back?" I said, attempting a more southern accent than I had. I knew it sounded awful but these knuckleheads wouldn't have a clue.
"Sorry, just ignore him." Dane said, slapping Reece around the back of the head. I put the bin into the darkest corner and opened the lid, rummaging around until Eli passed me a fold up wooden chair – don't ask, people fly tip here on a daily basis and we were just lucky they dropped things we could use today. I picked up something small to throw and whistled as I made my way back towards the alleyway, suddenly stopping, turning around and throwing what I now saw was a rock in the direction of Reece. The rock caught him on the side of the head and he stumbled over letting out a yelp, causing the rest of the gang's eyes to be on me. I walked under a streetlamp's glare and smiled, looking at every one of the gang in the eye.
"Thanks for the nice words, guys. Nice to see you again." Their jaws dropped open and Yusuf instantly run at me but Eli was prepared and threw a few more things from the bin at him, one eventually hitting his leg and causing him to fall to his knees. As he went to get up, I swung the chair across his back and a loud bang echoed through the alleyways once more. Yusuf fell to the floor, face down, and remained there just holding his hands over his back as he yelled out in pain. Eli jumped out of the bin and smacked Graham in the face with a bin lid, before making his way over to Dane and Reece. From the back of his trousers he pulled two small wooden banister posts and as he run in between the two idiots, he flung his arms out and caught both of them in the necks with the posts.
"Miss us?" Eli laughed evilly as we watched the two men fall to their knees, coughing. I turned my focus back to Yusuf who was slowly getting back to his feet.
"Look, girly, if you wanna prove your tough drop the weapon and fight me like a man." He put his guard up and clenched his fists tightly. I looked over to Eli who shook his head at me but my mind told me differently. If they were impressed with me now, how would they feel if I beat Yusuf with my fists as my only weapons?
"Fine, but you'll wish you never had." I smirked, throwing the chair to one side. As it crashed to the floor, Eli looked over to me, terrified.
"Chloe, what the fuck are you doing? He's going to kill you!" Eli shouted over to me but no sooner had he said the last word, he was taken down by Dane.
Yusuf and I raised our guards and stood facing each other ready for the fight to ensue. This was either going to be one of the best of one of the worst decisions I'd ever made... Only time was going to tell.
