Kiran Haly was born into the circus life. Being the granddaughter of Jack Haly, it was in her blood. The excitement, the culture, the people- she couldn't get enough. To Many, it was a night of wondrous entertainment, but to her, it was home. Until tragedy struck.

It was 2006 when a terrible loss struck Haly's Circus. The tragedy of The Flying Graysons tore at the very heart of the centre ring. And when her best friend was taken away by the famed Bruce Wayne, her home was never the same.

Four years later, Kiran and her mother live in Gotham city. While she loves her mundane life in the city, she longs for the few days a year she gets to soar again.

It was when she was back at the circus for the Labour Day week tour that she came across a familiar face. Dick Grayson, the tragic orphan of the late Flying Graysons has returned to Haly's circus. Kiran is sure it's him, even if he is calling himself Dan Danger. She can't call it coincidence that he's reappeared when the circus is in deep water, but she also can't say she's upset to see him.

After he and his friends save her grandfather's circus from some power-stealing super-maniac, Kiran learns the giant super-powered secret that her old friend has been hiding. And, being the stubborn ball of fiery might she is, Kiran decides to join the team and become a superhero of her own. Whether for better... or for worse.
