Tetra sat on the railing of her balcony in a long white flowing dress. The sunset graced the horizon as the golden city's skyline rang out farther than the sunlight itself. The icy black ocean was completely calm, save the occasional fish breaking the water's surface.

It had been a few months since Tetra and her friends had saved Cloud 9 from the clutches of a demon named Rob. She should've felt accomplished, and she did in a way. Her new boyfriend, Lo, was caring and loving. She'd finally asked him out. He was able to know exactly what she wanted when she wanted it and they'd lived in harmony since their ascension.

But something felt wrong. She returned to her room, where Lo was resting on their bed.

"Hey Tet," said Lo. She rubbed her eyes to see if she was hallucinating but no, he was shirtless. He's never shirtless.

"Hello Lo."

Lo chuckled after hearing that. "You seem like something's wrong. What's up?"

"Well," Tetra sat down on the bed. "Something just feels off. Have you noticed that? Rich has been holed up in his room pretty much the whole time we've been here. Ava and Evyn spend most of their time in their room doing who knows what. . .and you're shirtless for the first time since ever."

"Well, recently it's been getting hotter. I thought that's why you were wearing that super-thin dress."

She blushed. "Y-yeah, that's why I was wearing it."

Lo sat up. "Something does feel kind of weird though. I'm not sure what." 

A small explosion came from below them and the floor cracked a bit. They both looked at each other and ran out of the room, down to the basement where Evyn and Ava slept.

Tetra wrenched the door open to find Evyn lying facedown on the floor and Ava standing on the bed, both in their mystical forms. The floor was cracked where Evyn lay unconscious.

"Ava, what happened?" Lo asked.

"We were uh...jumping on the bed!" Ava said with a smile. "Evyn jumped too high and hit the ceiling but she'll be fine soon. Probably." She kept smiling oddly at the two.

Tetra eyed her and slowly backed out with Lo, closing the door.

"Well that was interesting," Tetra said. The ground shook again, this time coming from outside. She stared into Lo's eyes, which were full of worry.
