(muttering)

The amusement drains from Casey's face.

CASEY
What is that supposed to mean?

CLAUDIA
We were best friends, Casey. But then we went to middle school and I guess I wasn't good enough for you? That's how I felt, anyway.

CASEY
Quinn, that's not what it was like at all. We drifted apart!

CLAUDIA
You stopped sitting with me at lunch. It's not like I wanted to drift apart. But you wanted to be popular and I didn't care about that enough to keep up with you.
