INT. FOYER - DAY

The doorbell rings and CLAUDIA, a small teenager who, it appears, hasn't put much effort into her appearance, hurries over to open it. She is met by a smiling CASEY, a fellow teenager who immediately adopts a look of recognition.

CLAUDIA
Oh, Casey. I didn't realize you were going to be our dogsitter.

CASEY
(smiling slightly)
Claudia?

CLAUDIA
(quietly)
Yeah.

Claudia is almost huddling into herself while Casey is glancing around, her body language open and easy.

CASEY
Is this a bad time? Your mom said I could come over whenever to figure out the logistics...

CLAUDIA
(uncertainly)

Well, she's not here right now, but uh...I can show you around, I guess.

CASEY

(smiling)
Awesome.

Casey enters the house and Claudia closes the door behind her.
