Bonus: How Tyler and Noah Broke Up

Tyler was exhausted.

He had spent the whole day working with his mentor, Matt, and filling out paperwork for one of his test clients. After that, he went and got his hair cut since Noah said it was getting too long. Noah didn't like his hair long so Tyler never let it grow too much.

Tyler had made sure to text Noah and tell him he was coming home late since he was getting his hair cut. The brunette was currently on his way to the small apartment he shared with his boyfriend. Queen was playing in the car and he felt relaxed despite how tired he was. Not relaxed enough to fall asleep but blissful almost. He had even gotten his haircut finished early since they didn't have many people scheduled.

The brunette pulled into the parking lot and parked his new car (he had gotten it about a week ago) in his usually place before getting out and locking the doors. He made his way towards the front door, waving to the doorman on the way in, and rode the elevator up to floor six before walking down and stopping in front of the third door on the right. His door. Their door.

Going through his keys, he passed his car one and found the one he marked with a purple tag. Sticking it in the lock above the doorknob, he unlocked the door and walked in.

As soon as he entered and shut the door behind him, he felt off. Noah would have gotten off an hour earlier at six like he always did and almost every day he was waiting for Tyler in the living room. Today, he was not. The house was also eerily quiet. The TV was on but he also just remembered he accidentally left it on before he left for work.

He took his light jacket off and hung it up on one of the hooks on the wall. Noah's jacket wasn't hanging there but was instead sprawled on the couch. He always hung his jacket up.

Something was wrong.

"Noah?" Tyler called quietly, slipping his shoes off and making his way towards the bedroom. Once he reached the door, he heard a loud moan. Noah's moan. He chuckled to himself. It wouldn't be the first time he had caught his boyfriend jerking off. Granted, it meant he'd probably wanna fuck later when all Tyler wanted to do was sleep but if Noah wanted it, Tyler's deliver it. "It you're gonna jerk-" he opened the door and began talking when he froze.

Noah was not alone. There was another man in the bed. One Tyler did not know. They were fucking.

"Shit!" Noah yelled. Tyler felt tears prick his eyes and all he did was shut the door, walking back out into the living room.

"Ty!" He heard his name called. "Tyler!" The sound of a door opening and closing emitted and Noah was hurrying into the living room, boxers now on but the rest of him still undressed. "Tyler it's not what it looks like."

The mentioned whipped around, tears filling his eyes. "What the hell is it then, huh?" He yelled. "You were just fucking some random guy!"

"He's not random I work with him," Noah defended.

"Oh yeah because that's so much better!" Tyler deadpanned, clenching his fists.

"Baby, I'm sorry," Noah looked him deep in the eyes. "It didn't mean anything. I've just been frustrated lately and you're not satisfying me. I wanted some practice with someone else to see what we could do to improve us."

Tyler didn't reply at first. Everything Noah did was always to better them. Every insult. Every putdown. Every comment. Tyler knew it was wrong but he dealt with it. He had deserved it. He had said nasty things to him all those years ago. He had insulted him. He had put down him. He had made comments about him.

He knew he didn't deserve this. He had never, ever been disloyal. To anyone.

"Bullshit," he clenched his jaw, tears running down his face. "You're a selfish prick! I've dealt with your shit for almost seven fucking years!" He seethed. "This crosses the line! I trusted you!"

"And you still can," Noah grabbed his hands. "This was a one time thing. I'm sorry. I love you."

Tyler ripped his hands away from Noah and walked back over to put his jacket back on. His wallet, phone, and keys were already in his pocket. "I'll be back tomorrow when you're at work to get my shit," he mumbled, sliding the article of clothing on.

"Tyler, please," Noah pleaded. "I was gonna propose. On our anniversary next week. I have the ring and everything. It's in my sock drawer."

Tyler looked over and saw how devastated Noah looked. However, it couldn't even come close to how devastated Tyler felt and how devastated he's felt for six years. "Take your ring," he opened the door. "And shove it up your sorry ass," he finished, slamming the door shut behind him.

He walked back down the hall and re-entered the elevator. As soon as the doors closed he let the tears fall completely, a sob escaping his lips. He had loved Noah. He really did. Maybe not up until recently but at one point he did.

The doors opened on the first floor and he made his way to his car, pulling his phone out as he did so. He didn't wave to the doorman on the way out like he usually did.

The person he was calling finally picked up when Tyler reached his car. "Hello?"

"Ryan?" Tyler sobbed out, getting into his vehicle and starting it.

"Did you and Noah get into another fight again?" He asked expectantly.

"No," he cried. "I c-aught him ch-cheating on m-me. He was having s-sex with his c-co-worker," he stuttered out as the tears fell down his face.

"Oh my God," Ryan breathed out. "Do you need to come over?"

Tyler nodded but instantly felt stupid when he realized his friend couldn't see him. "Yeah."

"Okay. Lizzie and I are home so just come up when you're here," he paused. "I'm so sorry, Ty."

"Don't be. Not your fault," he wiped his eyes so he could see when he started driving. "I should have known. I shouldn't have stuck around this long."
