Study Time

Class 1-C was gathered in their homeroom as the school day came to an end. It was just minutes before dismissal and Present Mic had left them to their own devices.

Before he left, he told them to prepare for the final exams that were coming up.

Jack: Oh no! I haven't studied at all!!!

Souta: Welp. You screwed.

Jack: No one asked for your opinion!

Luna: Jack! You do realize that there's going to be a practical test with this exam right?

Jack: Oh yeah...

Hein: But not to mention it's going to be tough...

Samuel: Exactly. The end of theterm test will be more difficult than the mid-term tests.

Mio: Yeah...I heard if you don't pass the practical test, you fail.

Jack: Oh man! I'm gotta ace this test!

Riku: Well then...I think it's best you buckle down and start studying if you want to pass.

Jack: I know...but studying sucks!

Souta: Then why are you in school then?

Jack: ARE YOU JUST HERE TO CRITICIZE ME OR SOMETHING?!! LEAVE ME ALONE!

Zoe: *Sighs* (Annoying....)

Mikoto: Guys! Stop fighting! Look, I know the midterms didn't cover much since we'd just been admitted into the school, even between that and the Sports Festival, but the finals are gonna different. We gonna need to try our hardest to do our best out there.

Sylvia: What do you propose we do then, Mikoto?

Mikoto: I was thinking...maybe we should do study groups.

Everyone seems to agree with the idea.

Destiny: Spoken like a true Class Rep!

Riku: It's a great idea. Study groups are very important. They provide an excellent means for us students to compare class lecture notes.

Hein: That's right. Comparing notes can allows us to fill in any information or important concepts that any of us may have missed during lectures or studying.

Mikoto: Right. Since everyone has individual talents and unique insights, group members can learn from each other.

Haru: So how will we do this?

Mikoto: Well...Let's start with pairing up with some of the smartest people in class.

Mikoto turns to Riku, Hein, and Chassy.

Riku was very smart thanks to analyzing skills.

Chassy, despite being the youngest, had habor a lot of intelligence that could rival's a scientist's IQ.

Hein has the brainpower through reasoning and understanding.

Mikoto: You guys wouldn't mind right?

Riku: I don't see no problem in helping out some of our classmates.

Chassy: Of course not! I maybe young but I can help you guys a lot with studying!

Hein: It'll be a pleasure.

Jack: Oh thank you guys! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Luna: This will be a great help for the finals.

Mikoto: Alright. Guys. Pick a side and don't rush. One at a time-?!

Most of classmates overwhelmed him by running over to Riku and the girls.

Jack: Riku! Help me please!

Samuel: Could you please help with this question, Riku?

Luna: Hein! Would you help me and Zoe! We can't solve this equation.

Zoe: Do I even have a say in this?

Luna: Nope~!

Maria: CHASSY! I NEED YOUR HELP, NYA! These study questions are hard!!!

Destiny: This math question sucks! I don't know how to solve it!

Mikoto: I just said one at a time!

With the addition of Mikoto, Riku, Hein, and Chassy helped tutor most of the class.

Riku had mostly the EitoSquad (except for Luna).

Hein had Luna, Zoe, Yin, and Lilac.

Chassy had Maria, Mio, Oka, Akira, and Kelly.

But what surprised Mikoto a bit was that Sylvia, Haru, Kenji, and Souta asked him to tutor them.

To be honest, he shouldn't be all that surprised his closest friends in his class wanted him to be their study leader.

He felt honored.

But he felt a little nervous that they were going to be studying at his house.

-Plus Ultra-

Tohru Yukimura was a man that liked surprises. As long as they were the good kind.

But he definitely liked this surprised when his son told him his friends were coming over to study for the final exam.

Tohru: Do you want me to order pizza?

Mikoto: That'll be fine Dad. Would pizza be good for you guys?

Sylvia/Haru: YES!

Kenji: *Nods*

Souta: Blech...I still don't like it...

Mikoto: Come on~! Just give it a try.

Souta: Fine....

Tohru: Alright then! I leave you kids to do your work. Have fun and don't stay up too long!

Tohru gently close Mikoto's bedroom door and went downstairs.

Sylvia: Your father's pretty nice.

Mikoto: *Shrugs* He's a sucker for entertaining guests.

Haru: Where's your Mom...?

Mikoto:....Working again...like usual...

Kenji: Whoa...That sucks...

Mikoto: Yeah...Dad told me she won't be home for about a few days.

Haru: I'm sorry to hear that, Mikoto-kun...My parents are always away too...

Mikoto: Oh...

Sylvia: Sometimes...I miss my mother...

Kenji: Same too if I ever had one....

Souta: I personally don't miss mine.

Everyone gave him looks besides Mikoto who understand what he meant by that.

Souta: What?

Sylvia: Nothing...(What a rough past he must've had to say that...)

Souta: Being a Pro-Hero must suck for the Yuki-Onna.

Sylvia: Don't be rude, Souta!

He glared at her.

Souta: I just stating my opinion. Lighten up.

Sylvia: You lighten up, Mr. Rude!

Haru: N-No fighting please...

Mikoto: Yeah. Let's just get back to work...

With that, three hours had past and Mikoto's room was soon filled lot of papers and pizza , (as well as no small amount of insults from Sylvia and Souta)...the students were nearly brain-dead from mental exhaustion.

Haru's head was nearly smoking and Kenji looked like a zombie (If not worse...) both of them had been on the receiving end of Mikoto's math lessons and in-depth heroics tutoring. (Which he got from Izuku).

Mikoto: Alright. Let's take a break.

His friends collasped onto the futons and signed in relief while Sylvia, despite being a demon princess, shouted "Thank God that's over!"

Haru: I...never realized math was that hard...

Kenji: Same...

Sylvia: I think my hand hurts due to all that writing...

Souta: At least you all looked better.

Mikoto: So...do you guys feel smarter?

Sylvia: Hell yeah!

Haru: I-I feel like I might have a chance at victory.

Kenji: I felt the adrenaline flowing through my veins...and for a second I could've swore I felt a beat in my heart.

Mikoto: Really? I thought once your a vampire, your heart would stop working.

Kenji: True. But I guess I felt alive for the first time...

Mikoto: And you Souta?

Souta: ...Meh. It was alright.

Sylvia: Just alright?! Make a more specific answer.

Souta: I don't have to tell you anything.

Sylvia: Gaaah! Why must you be so difficult?!

Souta: *Mock her* Oh, I'm a demon princess and I'm a little bitch.

A dark flare spread all over Sylvia, who had demonic red eyes.

Sylvia: WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST SAY?!

Souta: *Screams* Ahhhh!

Mikoto: Sylvia! Please don't kill Souta in my room! Souta! Don't provoke her! You know better than to do that!

Sylvia/Souta: *Pouts* Fine.

The dark aurora left as all went quiet..until..

Haru: *Snickers*

Kenji: Pfft...

Souta: *Chuckles*

Sylvia: Haha...

Mikoto: Hahaha..

With that, they all started laughing at how ridiculous they were all being. After a few seconds of calming down, Mikoto then asked his friends a question.

Mikoto: Guys...I know things have been crazy for a while...but we'll be fine...with this exam coming up, right?

Sylvia: I think so...So much sure has happened...

Haru: I prefer to forget about it.

Kenji: Everything has been shit lately...to be honest, I rather have Eito stalked me whether then deal with it.

Souta: It's bullshit...

Mikoto: Yeah...But...Look how far we all gotten. Whatever those heroes have prepared for us soon. We'll over come it! We'll find someway to beat this.

Haru: I wonder what they're going to try and make us do.

Kenji: I think we have to face some more battle robots...

Souta: Well shit...

Mikoto:....

Mikoto hoped everything will turn out okay this time. But he shouldn't get his hopes up too soon.

He remembers seeing Izuku, Shouto, and the others in the lunch the other day talking about the exam. Until Neito showed and bumps Izuku in the head...(Which he did on purpose...)

Seeing that made Mikoto hate the boy a little bit despite their teamwork back at the festival.

Mikoto watched from afar as Neito berate Izuku, Shouto, and Iida about the Hero Killer which made him feel disappointed in the blonde.

Luckily for them, Kendo showed up and whacked Neito in the head for making fun of Izuku and the others.

Itsuka apologizes for Neito's behavior. Itsuka says that she head them talking about the exercise test.

She reveals that the exercise test is a battle simulation fighting against robots just like the Entrance Exam. Izuku is shocked that she has knowledge about the exercise test, to which Itsuka says that she gained the knowledge an upper-classman.

On the floor, Neito had criticizes Itsuka for revealing the knowledge on the exercise test, as he wanted to use that hidden knowledge to forestall Class 1-A and defeat them. Itsuka drags Neito away and hits him again, reminding Neito that they don't detest Class 1-A.

Sylvia: Well don't worry too much, Mikoto? We'll see how everything turns out when the Final Exam show up.

Mikoto: Yeah... Because if we really want to be heroes. We need to not just save them...we need to get through to people as well.

Sylvia: ???

Souta: Hmm...

Mikoto: I mean it's just...it's so frustrating that people don't try to understand others' feelings or perspectives. But...I know that it's just my opinion and I can't force people to understand or accept it, but maybe if I were to become the kind of hero I want to be I can bring awareness to people. And If I'm being honest...

He thought about what Niko said back at the mall.

Mikoto: No matter what others think...But I personally thinking that villains are the ones who need to be saved the most.

Haru: ?!

Kenji:.....

Mikoto: Because it's just like what he said...the older generation of heroes had failed this society for many years...but maybe...We, the new generation, could rebuild it.

Souta: Yeah...

Haru: You make a valid point.

Sylvia: I like the sound of that.

Kenji: Agree...

A way to not just save others, but save this rotten society as well...

Could they be able to do that?

-Plus Ultra-

The next day comes by and so had the final exam.

Everyone was in their hero costumes.

Nedzu: Hello future heroes!

Class 1-C:.....Eh?

Mikoto: (What's Nedzu doing here?)

Nedzu: There's been a slight change of plans! You will not be battling aganist robots for your last exercise!

Hein:....Then what will we be doing sir...?

A smile made it's way into the Principal's face that didn't sit right with the students.

Nedzu: You're going to be helping Class 1-A fight the Pro-Heroes here at U.A!

Everything went quiet til you hear a pin drop...

Then once again, all hell broke loose!

Class 1-C: WHAT?!!!!!
