❖ What is your name or your pen name? Do you have a story behind those names?

My pen name is EchoStoriesMB, or simply, just Echo. There isn't a big story behind my pen names, but as for the longer one, I'd rather not explain the full creation of how it came to be. Now, for Echo, it started out as both a roleplaying guise and one of my many muse's names. From then, people just began calling me by the name Echo as it was easier than calling me EchoSilence when they spoke to me. It just stuck, but I only write under that pen name online, I do use my birth name when writing and physically publishing my books.

❖ What kind of genre do you like to write and why?

I don't have one specific genre that I like to write about. I prefer to leave my mind open and free, writing whatever comes to mind. If I had to choose though, Dark Fantasy, SciFi and Romance are my top three that I tend to go towards when writing.

❖ What inspired you to write this contest?

The darkness of the contest I guess you could say, was part of the reason that inspired me to write for it. I also needed to get myself out of a writing rut and thought this would be the perfect way to do so, everything else just seemed to happen naturally.

❖ What do you like most about summer?

The thing I like most about summer is being able to hang out with my kids, spending time with them and enjoying watching them grow. Some would expect me to say that it is being able to write more and joining the multitude of contests that come out during summer, but it's my kids and spending time with them. That's because, in the blink of an eye, one day they'll be all grown and all these precious moments will be gone.

❖ If you have one wish that perhaps someday anyone could grant it, what would you like to ask and why?

If I had one wish, it would be for more people to see my novels that I have out there. Both published and not. My reasoning behind it, because I only want to make people smile through my writing,

❖ If the idea of CitifiedFantasy comes to your mind, what major town and country do you think of and can you give us the reason why you choose that Town?

If the idea comes to mind, I think of Krimson City which is a major city in America. I choose this because it is the city where one of my favourite book series takes place. JR Wards, Black Dagger Brotherhood Series, an addicting, dark romance (for adults) I highly recommend for those old enough to read them.

❖ If you can say something to the world out there, what would you like to say?

If I could say one thing to the world, never give up on your dreams and always be kind to one another. Your dreams will always come true the moment they're supposed to while kindness can make our world a better place. Something we all need more of in the world these days.

❖ If you can choose one country in the world to stay and rule it as you like, what country is that? What's your idea for that country?

If I could choose, I wouldn't choose any. I would have no desire to rule over a country and take command of people. So, ideas for that country would only be spoken as suggestions from a simple civilian living within it who is already trying to make a living in hard times.
