Next day.

I'm not overly looking forward to work,what with what Kyle asked of my yesterday and how Horatio redacted to me telling him. I arrived at work at just after 11:00am, I walked into the lab and see Eric,Ryan,Walter and Calliegh talking together.
"Y/n do you know what's going on?" Walter asked me,when he saw me
"Can you explain?" I asked joining them
"From what we know Horatio and Kyle have had some kind of argument" Ryan said
"How do you know?" I asked
"There behaviour around eachother" Eric said
" So do you know?" Calliegh asked me.

I stayed silent not sure if I should tell them or not
"You do know don't you?" Ryan said
"Yes I think I know what caused the argument" I said
"Well?" The four of them asked
"Me" I said simply
"What?" Eric asked
"Yesterday when me,Frank and Kyle where out. Frank asked me and Kyle to get some information on a woman,and on the way there...Kyle asked me out" I said,the three of them looked shocked
"Kyle asked out his father's ex girlfriend?" Walter said" Yikes".

"You told Horatio then?" Eric asked
"Of course I did,I wouldn't keep that from him" I said
"First H and now Kyle,what is it about you that these two seem to like so much?" Calleigh asked me
"Search me" I said,at that moment Horatio came up from the morgue and headed outdoors" I'll catch up with you later" I said to the four of them and ran after H. He wasn't to far ahead of me
"Horatio" I called after him,he stopped by his Hummer and turned to face me. I stopped beside him " I know you probably don't want to talk to right now but..."

"Why wouldn't I want to talk to you?" Horatio asked
"Well because I'm the one that caused this problem between you and your son" I said
"Y/n this isn't your fault " Horatio said" It's probably mine,I was the one that got angry at Kyle when I talked to him this morning "
"If my being here is going to be a problem,I can leave" I said looking up at H
"No I don't want you to leave " Horatio said,he took off his sunglasses and looked down at me" Kyle will just have to learn to like someone else"
"He's not going to like the fact that I'm still into you" I said.

"Tough you love me not him,he will have to get over himself and find his own girl" Horatio said
"He's your son" I said
"The way he spoke to me,I'm about ready to send him back to his mother" Horatio said
"Enough about Kyle, where are you going?" I asked instead
"Nowhere actually,I just have to get away from him" Horatio said" I do feel a lot calmer after talking to you sweetheart "
"Stop with the blue eyes or I might turn into a puddle " I said feeling the heat rush to my face
"I'll stop if you kiss me?" Horatio said.

"Hey pretty boy that's my excuse" I said before leaning in and kissing Horatio on the lips. I have to hope that keeping father and son apart for a few hours,would calm the tension between them
"Y/N L/N WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" a angry shout made us break the kiss
"Oh shit" I said see my father Gordon walking over to us looking very angry.
