"Wow. This chair is awesome." Yoongi cackles, swinging back in forth in the rocking chair completely pleased with himself.

Jungkook shakes his head at the elder and dismisses him.

The house looked like it was abandoned already. Abandoned for eight, nine years or so. What the hell happened? Where's his grandma?

His head snapped back when he heard Hoseok shrieked followed by the sound of glass shattering.

"Tae what the hell? Don't scare me like that?"

Taehyung raised an eyebrow questioningly. "What are you talking about? I'm literally just standing here."

"Who the hell broke that vase then?" Hoseok frowned.

"Well, I don't know. I was as suprised as you are."

"Don't play games, Kim Taehyung I'm not in the mood."

"I'm not doing anything." Taehyung tried to defend again but the elder scoffed and turned his back on him.

Jungkook intensely gazed at the broken vase. The window near it was closed so there's no way the wind could have caused it to fall. He tapped the table it was on and it seemed pretty stable. Taehyung must have done it then. But he knew better that the other will admit it if he pulled off stunt like that.

"For fuck's sake Tae!" He heard Hoseok yell again. This time he did have a clear view of Taehyung and the elder wasn't doing anything at all, just inspecting the antiques and was feet away from Hoseok.

"I'm not really doing anything, hyung!" Tae shouted back, fists tightening on his sides.

"Who pushed me then?" Hoseok raised a challenging eyebrow.

Jungkook sighed, rubbing his forehead with his palm. "Maybe you just tripped, hyung. Tae wasn't doing anything."

Hoseok huffed and crossed his arms begrudgingly.

Taehyung pouted at his the action. He smiled at Jungkook for backing him up.

"What's down there?" Jungkook suddenly hears Yoongi inquire, pointing at the familiar stairs leading down.

"The basement." He answers.

"Bad stuff always happens at basements. Atleast in the horror movies." Taehyung perched, standing behind Yoongi and peeking down at the dark end of the stairs.

"Let's go down there." Yoongi proposes with enthusiasm, gummy smile in perfect view.

Jungkook shrugs. Taehyung was hesitant as he looks back at Hoseok who was now beside him.

Yoongi groans and proceeds to walk down the creepy stairs, the wooden material creeking under his weight. He steps as lightly as he can, turning the flashlight to the fullest brightness as he descends lower into the basement.

"Shit. Look at those!" Yoongi whistles. He flicks the light switch on.

There were a lot of statues, maps and other kinds of knick knacks visible.

"Woah are those real freaking spirit boards?" The eldest asked Jungkook.

"Those must be real. Grandma only collects authentic stuff." he replies, amazed by the wide amount of antiques down here.

"So your grandma's an antique collector?" Hoseok asks as Yoongi makes his way to the spirit boards.

"Yeah. I guess."

"That's cool." Hoseok hums.

"So all of these are legit?" Yoongi picks up the box of spirit boards, giving it a good shake.

"Yeah."

"This is amazing." Yoongi further inspects one specific board. As he blows the dust away from it, the light above their heads flicker.

"What was that?" Taehyung asks, slightly scared. They are in an old house full of creepy old stuff after all.

"Meh, this house is old. That's nothing." Yoongi shrugs.

Jungkook felt like something wasn't right. Something felt wrong. The air seemed more nippy compared to minutes ago.

"This looks fun." Yoongi raises a board—silver and velvety. "It's called 'The Midnight Spirit'. Sounds like a guy I would invite to a party."

Taehyung skips over to him. "Won't the spirit of midnight come out and play?" He reads aloud. "Look! There are steps how to summon him!"

"They seem easy. Let's play the game."

At the exact same moment Yoongi said it, the basement door slammed close and the lights turn off.

Jungkook struggled against the chains clamping around his hands. Whoever that Jimin was he wasn't nice. Why would he leave him here? Asshole...

The night seemed to just stretch longer. He wasn't sure what time it is. He wasn't even sure what wad happening.

He pulled on the chains again but to no use. They were strapped firmly by the headboard and there were no keys in sight.

His stomach grumbled. He looked down at it and pouted. Thanks to that he was now very aware of how hungry he was.

"Please, I'm starving!" He called out. The spirit must be listening. He couldn't have really just left him all alone to die. "Give me food please."

Complete silence. Nothing but the chirping of crickets.

"Or atleast let me free." He jiggled his chains again.

No one was there. No one was listening. Until he grew tired of waiting and fell asleep.
