I'm rubbish at drawing

Painting and colouring

My men look like tree trunks

The grass never right

I've tried drawing houses

Landscapes, castles

Each one's a disaster

Try as I might.

Tracing and crayoning

People look like drunken ducks

Balloons are monsters eyes

I've tried drawing animals

Horses, cat, a fish

Each one's a tragedy

No matter how I try

I'm rubbish at drawing

Painting and colouring

But with words I build castles

Pirate ships, exploding beds

Awesome tales that scare or thrill

Dragon's lair, or fairy dell

An endless world

Here- inside my head!
