Shruti was now confirmed that the red faced man is someone out of this world. She didn't believe in supernatural things but now she had survived the attack of the so called demon or ghost.

She was still lying on the hospital floor, thinking about Sameer. She had only one question in her mind 'Who is Sameer?'. She was trying to stand up but she had no energy left even to stand. She was deeply shocked by what she saw, she continued to lay on the floor until next morning the hospital staff came and found her.

Her heartbeats were unstable, she was lying on the ground with her eyes open, her eyes were bloodshot while her cheeks were stained from tears. She was alive but still her body looked lifeless. The hospital staff shifted her to another room.

"How did this happen doctor? We people leave our families out here in your hospital, and you can't even take care of them. Its a shame. Where are all the nurses and wardboys?. I want them here now." This was Monika speaking to doctor in her high volume voice. Doctor was confused himself.

"Madam. Please calm down, even I am confused how did this happen." said a local worker.

Monika was now furious, "You want me to calm down! Just look at my friend, her condition is even more worse."

Doctor finally opened his mouth, "This is rare. I don't recall any such event before. Maybe She did it to herself as her mental condition has deteriorated after the accident."

Monika said, "You are not striking a proper tone here doctor. I have already told you she has lost her husband, she is deeply hurt. She needs something more than medical attention. While you are clearly declaring her unsound."

Doctor said, "I can understand madam. But in case of mental patients, it becomes difficult in controlling them as they lose their ability to think like normal person." Monika just left a pitiful sigh.

Monika came in the afternoon again to visit Shruti at the hospital. She was stopped by a mysterious woman.

"Whoa lady! Watch yourself " Monika pushed the woman away from her. That lady looked creepy as hell.

"Your friend is not mad." that lady creepily told Monika.

"What do you mean?. Listen! You have nothing to do with my friend so stay out of this matter. I am already pissed off by this hospital staff." Monika just ignored her and walked further. That lady kept staring her.

When Monika entered Shruti's room, she saw Shruti was now awake, she was sitting on her bed and looking through the window.

"Shruti! How are you feeling now?" Monika asked her while she kept looking outside. Monika came near her and saw Shruti was crying.

"What happened Shruti? What's wrong? Tell me!" Monika took her in her arms. Shruti now burst into tears and hugged her.

She only spoke one sentence, "He will kill me Mona."

"What? Who will kill you?" She asked back.

Shruti said, "Last night he was here, he tried to kill me."

Monika wiped her tears and asked again, "Shruti! Who came here last night? Please tell me."

Shruti answered "Sameer".

Monika frowned, "Sameer! Fine I will call the cops on him. Don't you worry. Wait! I have heard this name somewhere." Monika told this to calm her down but that just doesn't seem to work.

Shruti said, "He comes only at night and I don't think he is from this world."

Monika ridiculed her assumption,"What? Shruti are you out of your mind?"

Shruti turned towards her and said, "Monika please believe me. I am not lying. He is a ghost."

Monika's eyes widened, she didn't know what to say. Monika thought Shruti might be hallucinating things.

Monika said, "Shruti! Dear you are not well, you might have had a nightmare. There is no such thing like ghosts."

Shruti said in a low voice, "Fine if you don't believe me then just leave. I don't want to talk to anyone."

Monika kept the flowers and fruits on the small table just besides Shruti's bed and decided to leave Shruti alone for a while.

While coming down, she found the same creepy woman standing at the main gate. Monika said, " Hey look I am sorry for the earlier. I didn't mean to get rude with you, and about my friend, she is fine now and definitely not mad." Monika said this to that lady.

While the lady continued to stare her through her rock eyes. Monika was disturbed by what she heard from Shruti. Because Monika too never believed in ghosts. She then, decided to visit Shruti at night for testing whether Shruti was telling the truth or it was her dream.

At night, Monika took her car keys and drove to the hospital. As usual, the watchman was sleeping. She went to Shruti's room and to her horror, Shruti was not in her bed, but was crawling on the ceiling and was making an eerie sound. Her hospital gown had blood stains on it.

Monika took a step back, she couldn't believe her eyes. She ran to the doctor's cabin screaming.

"Doctor! Shruti.... is..uh.. Please come with me!." Doctor followed Monika to Shruti's room.

Doctor saw Shuti crawling all over the ceiling. It reminded him of Spiderman, minus the creepiness. He was shocked. No one dared to enter that room.

Monika was horrified and now she was convinced that ghosts do exist. She decided to go in the room to talk to her.

"Shruti. Can you hear me?" Shruti looked at Monika, Shruti's eyes were green. She only gave her eerie smile, with her now brown teeth.

Monika was scared but she was still talking to 'It'.

"Hey! Leave her alone."

The spirit which possessed Shruti gave Monika a death glare and blurted, "NEVER. I'LL NEVER LEAVE HER. SHE IS MINE."

Monika stepped back but asked it, "Who are you and why do you want her".

The spirit answered, "BECAUSE SHE IS MINE"

"No you can't take her away, she is not yours. Just leave her or I will..."

The spirit looked right into her eyes and said, "OR WHAT??"

Suddenly the creepy old lady came and threw some red coloured liquid on Shruti's body.

It screamed, "AAAH!" as if it burned his body.

The spirit flew away faster than the wind. Shruti fell with a thud on the ground.

Monika went to her. "Shruti! Wake up. Somebody help me to put her into bed." Some men helped Monika.

Monika turned towards doctor. "Doctor? What is happening to Shruti?"

Doctor said, "I have never seen anything like this in my entire life. Sorry I cannot do anything in her case. You will have take her somewhere else."  Saying this, he gave Monika a disappointed look.

Monika sighed, someone touched her back and said, "Child! Doctors can't do anything in here. She needs exorcism. She is possessed by a vengeful spirit. I sensed it when she was admitted to the hospital. I work here as floor cleaner. I have this gift that I can sense supernatural." The creepy lady told this to Monika and handed her a bottle of the  Gangajal (holy water of river Ganga).

"Take this with you. It will keep the spirit away. It is holy water made from the water of holy river Ganga and a pinch of vermilion from Lord Hanuman's idol."

Soon Shruti was awake.

Monika held her close and said, "I'll never let that bastard come near you. I am sorry, I believe you Shruti. Come let's go home."

They gathered Shruti's things and Monika drove Shruti at her home. Mr Bhaskar opened the door.

"Madam! What happened? Is Shruti madam okay?." Monika nodded and they went to her room. They both sat looking at Rahul's smiling photograph.

Monika straight away dialed a number on her phone and waited for reply.

"Hello" a woman's voice greeted her and Monika spoke,

"Hello. May I speak to Mr. Rathod?" The woman answered, "Certainly. But he is in a lecture now. I'll tell him that you called, may I know your name?"

"Yes. My name is Monika and I am his niece."

"Surely madam." Monika disconnected the phone.

Monika sat besides Shruti, while she asked Monika about the call. "Whom did you call Mona?"

She replied, "My uncle. I don't know if anyone's gonna help us but my uncle surely will. He is professor of Parapsychology. He also investigates paranormal activities."

Shruti's eyes widened. Monika's phone rang.

"Hello uncle." She greeted, the another voice also greeted her,

"Hi Mona. How are you?"

Monika answered," I am fine uncle. I needed some help, rather my friend needs your help. Can you come over to my house tomorrow, maybe at lunch. I'll tell you everything." Her uncle voice was thoughtful,

"Sure Monika. Meet you tomorrow." The phone got disconnected.
