JAE-KUK’S POV.

It’s literally 7 pm in here, Ji-tae told me that he’ll meet me by evening and asked me to stay in hospital. For him I finished all of my works and patient rounds.

Luckily today there were not many patients for me. That pricky rat, when is he gonna come? It’s like I’ll die waiting for him. But I when he called me up, he sounded very serious, his voice was so stoic and rough. For a minute I was confused if he is my brother. As I was in deep thoughts, I heard my office door open.

There comes my pricky rat!

“Hyung, I’m so sorry to keep you waiting.” Ji-tae was so stressed, I’ve never seen him like this at all. He is always calm and composed. But now he is completely opposite of it. so, I didn’t wanna stress him more asking him why he is late.

“It’s ok Ji-tae ahh. Relax. I’m not mad at you for being late. And now tell me what happened that made you to be so distressed?”

“Hyung before that, where is Appa? Is he at hospital now?

“Ji-tae ahh, he is not at the hospital now. He has gone to meet his new friend, uncle Jimin.”

“What!! He went to see uncle Jimin?”

“Yes, Ji-Tae ah, is there any problem with that?”

“Problem? How did they even meet?”

“You remember when dada left to France for excursion with his students? That was the day when Appa and uncle Jimin met for the first time. Uncle Jimin came with his best friend’s son who was suffering from acidity. After the treatment, they spoke a little and got to know each other. And so, today they decided to meet and get to know more a lot about each other. Appa told this to me yesterday, I didn’t tell him that I knew uncle Jimin very well. Appa doesn’t know that I know uncle Jimin. Do you what Ji-Tae ahh, Appa was so happy and excited that he was gonna meet uncle Jimin an so I didn’t want to ruin his happiness. I’ve never seen him that much happy for days.”

“Oh hyung, shit is about to go down.”

“What happened Ji-Tae? Tell me!”

“You know si-yeon right? few days before she came to the station and paid me a small visit. At first, I thought she just came to give a visit since it’s been a long time we met. But it was the other way around.”

“What do you mean Ji-Tae ahh?”

“Yes hyung, she came to me asking for my help. She is suspecting that her Dad Yoongi is cheating on her Father Jimin, she also said that it’s been years since uncle Jimin was happy. She told me that uncle Jimin was not happy at all. So, she asked me to look into this matter and find out what is going with them. She didn’t file this as an official case tho. How can I not help her hyung?

“You should help her Ji-Tae ahh.”

“Yes, I did. So, I started my investigation today. I went to the college and got to know more about uncle Yoongi. I met the dean, he said that uncle Yoongi is a born genius and a mathematics professor. He gets well with his students. And he is savage. The students like his teaching and his attitude. I asked the dean whether he is close to anyone. He didn’t say anyone in particular, but he said that there are some students who hang out with uncle Yoongi. So, I asked the dean to bring some of his students who are close to uncle Yoongi.”

“And then what happened?”

“I met some three of his students who are close to him. I asked them where they’ll hang out together? they said they’ll will mostly hang out at a club which is owned by uncle Yoongi’s close friend Namjoon. After that they gave me that club’s address and Namjoon’s phone number. They also said uncle Yoongi is now at Italy, he has gone there to meet his professors. And I asked them if they know anyone who is very close to him. They said uncle Yoongi is closer with their English literature professor Jeon Jungkook.”

“Uncle Yoongi is close with dada?”

“Yes hyung, we both know that dada knew uncle Yoongi as they are working in the same college. But after knowing that dada and uncle Yoongi are so close, I cannot help but, I think dada is involved with uncle Yoongi.”

“How can you say that dada is involved with uncle Yoongi Ji-Tae ahh? They can be good friends too, right?”

“They can be hyung. It’s just that I’m assuming or maybe it’s my assumption that dada can be involved with him too.”

“Ji-Tae ahh, we have to do something and get out of this confusion. So that we can find who is the culprit and who is doing what.”

“Hyung, we are gonna meet Namjoon today at his club.” 

“Did you plan something on meeting him or you are gonna interrogate him?”

“I’m just gonna talk to him normally and get information about uncle Yoongi & Dada.”

“Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go there right away.” With that, we both rose up from our seats and headed towards our car and left for the club.

The entire ride was silent. No words or thoughts were exchanged. But the only thing that was running in minds were the hopes that Dada won’t be involved with uncle Yoongi.

We reached the club by 11:26 pm and the hulky bouncers were staring at us, like as if we did something wrong. Ji-tae showed his ID and immediately we both were let in.

“Hyung, let’s look for Namjoon.”

“Have you seen him? like how he’ll be? How does he look? Did the students show his photo?”

“No hyung, I haven’t seen him.”

“Ok Ji-tae ah, let’s search for him. Hell, this club is so hyped up and crowed.” With that they went into the crowd to find Namjoon.

What they didn’t know was that both Taehyung and Jimin saw Ji-tae and Jae-kuk entering the club.
