JI-TAE’S POV.

I’m gonna start my investigation for the case that si-yeon told me about. Even though this case is not filed officially, I will look into it and find all the things that uncle Yoongi is doing behind the backs of uncle Jimin and si-yeon. Like seriously bro, life doesn’t always gift you with good loyal people who will love you, even if don’t treat them in the way they deserve to be treated and to be loved.

Cheating might be common nowadays, but you will not realize it’s pain when it happens to you. Loving truly and getting cheated by your loved ones is the worst kind of pain that’ll leave a scar on your heart.

Uncle Yoongi has lost a gem in his life, not one but two. He has made it so obvious that his daughter doubted him and asked for my help. Seriously? Is he that much sus at his home, that si-yeon felt something her dad is doing behind their backs? Anyways it’s time for investigation and total shut down.

With that I left my station, in a casual attire more like a normal person. I decided to go the university and get to know more about him since it’s the first place he has to go when the day starts as he is a professor.

I took my car and sped off to college, I reached the destination within 17 mins. Gosh I miss those college days where we had lots of mass bunks, having fun time with security guards and people who keep the campus clean, those last-minute preparations for exams, having good time with our professors and going out with them were the best things that happened to me in college. Now enough of memories, I’ll get back to the story!

I made my way to dean’s office. And entered in after knocking the door.

“Excuse me sir, may I come in? I asked him peeping from the door.

“Please come in.” I entered in and bowed to him.

“Sir, I’m Ji-Tae inspector general of police.” With that he rose up from his seat showing respects to me, and I bowed to him again.
“Please take your seat.” We both went and took our seats.

“I can’t believe that you are the inspector general of police. I don’t mean to offend you, it’s that you look so young. It really takes a long time for one to become an inspector general.”

“That’s true and I can understand, many people were surprised by this. Anyways, I have to discuss some important matters with you. I hope you will give your full cooperation for my investigation. “

“I will cooperate with your investigation. You can ask me anything.”

“I want some information about one of your professors. And he is Min Yoongi.”

“Min Yoongi, he is our mathematics professor. What about him? did he get into some trouble?”

“Somethings are confidential. Yes, he is in trouble, but that doesn’t affect your college. So, you can be relaxed about that. Can you tell me what kind of person he is? Like how he is in college? People who are close with him, how his students are with him and with whom he spends time with the most?”

“He is a good person, but a savage one. He is a born genius. He gets very well with the students and always finishes his work on time. And is very prompt on doing things accordingly. He is not that much closer to anyone. Even if people try to get closer with him, he won’t show that much interest on them. The students love him for his teaching and attitude. They like the way he is. The students and him hangout together many times having lots of fun. If you want more information about him, you can ask his students.”

“I would like to meet some of his students, the ones who will hangout with him. Can you call them up please?”

“Sure, I’ll call them right away.” With that he asked his staff to bring some three of his students who have gone out with uncle Yoongi.

“And there’s one more thing that I want to tell you. You cannot talk about this investigation to anyone, it is strictly prohibited. Even your students should be careful and should not reveal anything about this investigation to professor Min Yoongi or amongst themselves. Is that clear sir?”

“Yes. It’s clear and I’ll also ask the students to keep things confidential. That’s my word to you.”

“Thank you for your cooperation sir. And I’ll met the students outside your office, so that they can be comfortable with me without much tension. Can I do that?”

“Of course, you can. They’ll be fine with you,”

“Thank you.” With that I heard the office door creak open and the staff informed that the students have come.

“Ok we will be there.” The staff bowed to him and left the office.

“Ok Ji-Tae Ssi, let’s go and meet the students. They will be waiting for you.” With that we both left the office and went to parking lot where the students were waiting for us.

“Good morning sir!” the students said in unison.

“Good morning students. Meet the inspector general of police Ji-Tae Ssi.”

“Hello everyone!”

“He will be asking some questions regarding his investigation. I hope you three would cooperate with him and give all the information he needs. And most importantly you cannot talk about this investigation to anyone. Or else it’ll lead to severe consequences. Is that clear?”

“Yes sir, it’s clear.” They all said in unison.

“Ok Ji-Tae Ssi, you can take it from here, I’ll leave now.” With that we all bowed down to the dean as he walked away from us.

I turn back to the students, their faces laced with tension. Who would not be like that? all of a sudden is a police officer comes and visit us, it’s damn obvious that we will be tensed and some may not.

“Students, there’s no time for self-introduction now. So, I’ll come straight to the point. Are you guys so close to your professor Min Yoongi?”

“Yes, we are sir.” One of the students said while two of them nodded.

“I also heard that you guys hangout with him a lot and have a great time together. Is that true?”

“Yes sir. We all hang out together, for at least twice a week or whenever professor calls us by himself.” I nodded my head listening to him.

“Where will you go to hang out?”

“Sir, we mostly hang out at club. Which is owned by his close friend Namjoon hyung.”

“Namjoon hyung? Are you guys close to him too?”

“Yes sir, we are. Namjoon hyung is a very good person. We all trust him sir, there’s nothing bad about him.”

“Can you guys give the address of the club?”

“Sure sir.” One of the boys gave me the address along with Namjoon’s phone number.

“So, do you guys know where is your professor now?

“Sir, he has gone to Italy to visit some of his professors. As he wants them to come here and give some guest lectures to us.” I nodded my head listening to his words.

“Guys have you see your professor Min Yoongi being close with anyone?”

“Sir, to be honest he is not that much closer to anyone.”

“Anyone at all?” I sighed in frustration. How can one be without being closer to anyone? That’s why he is like this with uncle Jimin and si-yeon.

“Sir!!” One of the boys came forward.

“I know a person with whom he is very close with.” His words gave me some hope, if he says who that person is, I can talk to them and get to know more about uncle Yoongi.

“Who is that person?”

“He is our English literature professor, professor Jeon Jungkook.”

“Ju-Jungkook? how come is closer to that professor?” I acted like I don’t know Dada.

“I don’t know, how he is so closer to professor Jeon Jungkook. But I’ve seen them together so many times.” A thought ran in my mind, what if- no, it’s not possible.

“Anyways guys thank you for your information. Those were very helpful for my investigation. And don’t forget that this investigation is confidential. I hope you all will keep this safe. Don’t inform this to you professor or to anyone else.”

“We will sir.”

“Thank you so much for your cooperation, you guys can leave now.” With that, the three of them left the place, talking amongst them.

I walked towards my car and stopped in the midway before getting in. I shut the door and leaned on it thinking about dada.
They both know each other very well; they can be good friends too.

But I can’t help with that thought, whether dada is cheating with uncle Yoongi. Dada are you involved in this?

Without thinking much, I called my hyung Jae-Kuk and told him that I’m coming to meet him.
