"So should you," Zephyr sighed, walking over and moved into him, hugging him from behind.

Rendal looked at him, his gaze softening for the first time in a while.

Zephyr watched him, softly reaching out to take his cigarette and pulled it to his lips. "Thanks for saying it back."

"Well I've never voiced it before..." Rendal said.

"I wanted to say it this time, so... I love you," he watched him.

The smaller male hummed, blowing the smoke out and captured his lips. "I'm glad you do, otherwise i'd be a lovesick puppy."

Rendal kissed him back, turning and wrapping his arms around him.

"Zephyr..."

"Mhm?" Zeph looked at him, softly setting the cigarette in the ash tray. "What is it?"

Rendal ran his fingers through Zeph's wild bangs.

"Don't do it again, leave? You were gone for a week... did you know that?" His gaze was as soft as ever. So soft it had never been such before. It was a look of vulnerability, deep vulnerability.

"I'm sorry," Zephyr spoke sincerely, "I've been obsessed with you since the day we met Ren - I wouldn't leave you over anything." He moved forward, taking Ren's face in his hands.

"I'm just an idiot."

Rendal held Zephyr's hips, watching him for a good while.

"Then... be with me."

Zephyr stared at him, "Like.... for real?"

Rendal met Zephyr's gaze and nodded.

"As real as I can be..." He held his eyes in his, "Date me... be with me. Exclusively..."

He moved in close, almost like he had a secret.

"Just me."
