Adams body is scattered with scars from previous battles and expeditions. His most prominent one is the one over his left eye, the ugly jagged scars were from his early teens, and caused him to be blind in said eye. His left eye is a greyish-white including his pupil. He also has a large scar that wraps the whole way around his neck... (more in background)

Adam, by all means, is not a nice person, he was raised to be a tough, serious person with no time for fun. He uses his spare time to improve on skills for his job, and it's the only thing he cares about. The man is extremely calculating and often comes off as cold. People tend to avoid the man due to the scary look of his scarred face and permanent mean scowl. He also has a bit- no, a lot of a temper.

He has always thought of himself as a nice man, he treats others with respect and gratitude. Though due to his looks, he isn't met with the respect he gives more of mean looks of disgust or even fear. Though being blind in one eye, Adam is extremely observant. He's always thinking before doing and is a quick thinker. He manages to always calculate his moves, and avoid mistakes. This has made him a bit of a perfectionist.

Adam likes to act like he has thick skin, he likes to act calm but wow does he get angry easily and quickly. He takes jokes far too serious, often resulting in him scolding or yelling at you redfaced and nostrils flaring.

He has this evil nature to him, after what happened to him when he was younger it was like demons were let in, there are constant voices crowding his head, dark thoughts that tell him to continue killing, to harm others with no remorse. Adam isn't fond of these voices- he often feels as if he is being controlled like his body isn't his own. His hands often have this odd tremor, they start aching and shaking, and he loses control of his body. Over the years he has managed to take control of these episodes, but they surface ever so often, causing the gruff man to look dazed.

STRENGTHS!

Adam is extremely skilled in fighting due to his background and how he was raised. He prides himself in his skilled swordsmanship, and his hand to hand combat. The more he trains, the more agile he becomes.

FLAWS!

Adam is not an animal person, nor are animals an Adam person. Animals tend to get spooked around him, they start to freak out. This isn't the best when he has to go horseback- he often gets thrown off. His partial blindness sometimes causes an issue,  he sometimes misses peoples attacks and gets injured.

BACKGROUND!

Adam wasn't always the personal guard to the Aroulan princess. That only started when he was seventeen. Before that, he was an orphan raised in a faux monastery. In Misarkany. The monastery was a cover, that the Misarkany king built before he disappeared. Its purpose was to raise orphans to be assassins, cruel people who lacked emotions and their only drive were to kill those they were ordered to.

One day on a mission when he was sixteen before he became the princesses guard he tried to take out a lord from the kingdom but was caught and sentenced to death. He was beheaded, hence the scar. Though, through some very dark spells, he was brought back by a stranger.. maybe a witch? a God? A genie? Who knows... Eventually, he was sent to Aroula, by what he does not know but he suddenly found himself as the princesses guard, as if someone had wished it. The scar across his face was from a bear attack.
