-Time Skip – Three Months Later – During Shanks Visit-

I let out an annoyed growl as Luffy pokes me in the arm again almost making me screw up on the solar power motor I was working on. During the two years I have been in Foosha Village I've built a couple of guns for myself to use and I've been working on getting motors to work so when I set sail I don't have to worry about the wind to travel at a fast pace.

"What's up Luffy?" I ask and Luffy lets out a whine.

"I'm bored." Luffy whines and I shake my head before hearing the sounds of multiple footsteps approaching. Wonder who's coming. Shanks and his crew might be back from their latest trip. The doors to the bar are pushed open and I see that it is indeed Shanks and his crew.

"There you go buddy. Go bug them they'll probably have lots of stories to tell you." I say as the crew settles in and starts ordering booze. Shanks and Benn make there way over to the bar where we're sitting. They take the two stools beside Luffy and look at us in interest. Luffy looks at them with a smile on his face as he looks at the two.

"Do you have any good adventure stories?" Luffy asks and a grin appears on Shanks' face.

"Of course we do. We are pirates after all we've been on more adventures then you have." Shanks says. Luffy swings around on the stool to face Shanks and in the process he elbows me in the side.

"A Yonko in fact and I doubt you've been on more adventures than me." I mutter under my breath so quietly that I'm almost certain that nobody heard me.

"Did you say something Belle?" Luffy asks and I nod.

"Yeah I'm cursing you at the moment because if you don't stop hitting me whether on accident or not I might blow us sky high." I say glaring at the younger boy who just laughs.

"Whoops sorry." He says before focusing all his attention back on Shanks.

'Keep him occupied for me please.' I mouth to Shanks who gives me a slight nod indicating he will. I mouth thanks back to him before continuing on my work. I hear the sound of someone taking a seat beside me and I look at the person from the corner of my eye to see that it's Benn. I finish what I'm doing at the moment before setting my tools down and turning to look fully at Benn who appears to inspecting me and my motor.

"What are you working on and where's Rosinante?" Benn asks and I pick up the motor before handing it to him.

"Follow me if you want to see and Rosinante's moved over to my house." I say before turning back to look at Makino and Luffy. "I'll be back in a bit."

"Okay don't blow yourself up again." Luffy says laughing and I hop off the stool waving over my shoulder as I head to the door. Benn exchanges a look with Shanks before following after me and I lead him to the outskirts of town where a small windmill sits but it is unmoving. I stop in front of it and open a hatch that's located on the base of the windmill. I hold my hand out and Benn raises an eyebrow before handing me the motor. I wire the motor into the windmill and attach it to the solar panel that I have for a power source. When I finish putting it all together I hit a switch before closing the hatch and I push Benn back a couple feet. I watch as the windmill slowly starts spinning and I let out a small laugh of joy when it doesn't blow up after a couple of minutes.

"It works." I say with hands up in air in victory.

"Wow I've never seen something like this before." Benn says and I nod.

"You'll probably never see something like this again." I say when a grinding noise catches my attention and I turn back to the windmill just in time to see it catch on fire. "Not again." I say before pushing Benn to the ground just as the windmill explodes.

"What just happened?" Benn asks as I get up and explore the rubble of the windmill after everything has settled down.

"It exploded for some reason. I was so certain that it'd be fine this time." I say when I spot something that shouldn't be there. If it was anybody else, they probably would miss it but not me. A black ring sits in the grass luckily undamaged and I pick it up to notice that it's mine. The one that I left at home this morning as well as the rest of them but Luffy brought them to me. I take off the chain that's around my neck and slip the black ring that has a dragon design carved into it. The ring sits lightly against the other three that reside on the chain and I place the chain back on my neck.

"I have a little brother to question." I say marching back towards the bar with Benn following behind me after he dusts himself off but he pauses before looking back at the mess.

"What about the mess?" Benn asks and I shrug.

"I'll clean it up later like I usually do." I say and when I reach the bar I kick the door open before marching over to where Luffy is freaking out about his arm stretching which Shanks is still holding. Luffy instantly falls silent when he sees the expression on my face.

"Hey Belle what's up?" Luffy asks and Shanks lets go of Luffy's arm which snaps back in place almost knocking the boy over if I hadn't steadied him.

"Luffy when you grabbed my rings this morning did you grab all of them?" I ask him.

"Yeah I grabbed all four of them." Luffy says looking confused.

"Where was the first place you looked for me?"

"The windmill."

"Did you go in it?" Luffy nods. "Why did you go in it?"

"Sometimes you're working right in the middle of it so I went in to check but you weren't there. I tried yelling as well but you didn't answer."

"Idiot;" I yell punching him on the top of his head which sends him sprawling to the floor and he starts nursing the bump that appeared on his head since I had used some Haki in that punch. "The windmill blew up because you dropped one of my rings inside it and you." I turn to look at Shanks who starts sweating profusely. "You should know to never leave any type of food around Luffy. He'll eat anything and everything." I slam my fist into the top of Shanks' head as well before marching back towards the door.

"Where you going Belle?" Luffy asks and I glare at him.

"I have to go clean up the mess from the windmill exploding." I say marching out the door and back to the debris field where I start salvaging what I can and throwing everything else in a pile.

I spend a couple days cleaning up the debris and when I finish I make my way back down to town. A commotion is happening in front of Party's Bar where I was heading and I let out a sigh when I see Luffy on the ground underneath a bandit's foot. I pull the gun I have stored in the back of my pants underneath my jacket out as I walk closer.

"It's your fucking fault you damn motherfucker. Why don't you go fucking take a bath and scrub that shit off you... Oh wait it's so fucking deep that you can't scrub it out." Luffy yells and the bandit pulls out his sword.

"You little brat. I'll fucking kill you instead." The bandit says and I stop in the shadows at the end of the alley way I'm in trying not to shake my head at the little rubber boy.

"I was wondering why no one welcomed us at the port. So this is why. Hey you guys were the bandits from the other day." Shanks says walking ahead of Makino and Woop Slap who was trying to get the bandits to let go of Luffy. "Luffy what's wrong? Isn't your punch as strong as a pistol fire and what's with all that swearing?"

"Shut up and Belle." Luffy yells.

"Pirate. Why are you still here? Are you going to clean up the whole town this time? I suggest you leave right now. If you get any closer, I might have to open fire you coward." The bandit says but Shanks continues forward.

"Didn't you hear? You were told not to go any closer. Do you want to get shot?" A bandit asks.

"Well since you pulled out your gun I guess we'll have to fight." Shanks says.

"Huh? What'd you say?" The bandit asks.

"I said, don't use this to scare people." Shanks says and Lucky shoots the bandit in the head.

"Now you've done it bastard. Damn it that was dirty." Some other bandits yell.

"Dirty? Don't make us laugh. Do you think we're saints or something?" Benn says.

"The people standing in front of you are pirates. Listen well bandits. You can whip food or sake at me or even spit on me. I can laugh it off but I don't care what reasons you have. I won't forgive anyone who messes with my friends." Shanks says.

"Hahaha won't forgive me? You a bunch of pirates who float around on a ship all day want to challenge us? We will destroy you." The head bandit says and all the lower bandits rush towards them.

"Let me deal with this. I can take care of them myself." Benn says and he doesn't even fire one shot from his gun he just uses it as a club. "Don't overestimate yourselves bandits." Benn says lighting a new cigarette. "If you want to fight us you better get a fleet of marines to back you up."

"Ah, wait a minute. This little brat messed with us first." The last bandit standing says.

"It doesn't matter after all there's a reward on your head." Shanks says and the bandit drops a smoke bomb. I let out a silent curse as I rush out of the alley way and down towards the docks where the bandit would be stealing a boat.

"Belle." I hear Benn yell but I ignore him in favor of focusing on getting to the docks. I reach the docks just as the bandit unties a boat from the dock. I leap across the gap between the dock and the boat. I land softly on the boat barely causing it to rock and I grab Luffy by the arm. Using Haki on my hand to keep him from stretching I throw him back towards the bank where the Red Hair Pirates are. Luffy barrels into Shanks knocking him over. I spot a couple of the Red Hair getting ready to jump in but Benn beats them to the punch and he dives in first. I kick the bandit towards where the sea king was rising from the water and the sea king greets the bandit with an open mouth. The sea king swallows him whole and I point my gun towards the huge fellow.

"So am I going to have to shoot you to get you to not eat me or are you gonna back off?" I question the sea king who lets out a growl before lunging towards me. "Guess I'm using you for target practice." I say firing off three shots. The bullets hit the sea king in the exact same spot only seconds apart and after the third one hits the sea king lets out a whimper at the new hole it has in its nose.

"Are you gonna get lost now or do you want me to add another hole to your face?" I question and the sea king looks at me with narrowed eyes before sinking below the water. I see it's shadow as it swims away and I put the safety on before putting my gun away.

"Belle are you okay?" Benn asks as he pulls himself into the row boat.

"Yeah I'm good." I say sitting down as Benn gets the boat moving back towards the shore.

"Why did you do that? It was incredibly reckless and you're getting checked out when we get back." Benn says and I pout.

"I'm fine and I wasn't about to lose my family, again." I mutter the last word but it looks like Benn heard it judging from his expression. We reach the shore only for me to get a lecture from both Makino and Shanks while Luffy keeps repeating that I was so cool.

"You might be a better shot then Yassop is." Luffy says and I raise an eyebrow at that. I see Yassop do the same as he looks at the young boy.

"I don't think I'm a better shot than Yassop. I don't think I'm even near his level of skill." I say even though I got tons of experience when I created my pack, my family of mercenaries. "I'll see you back at home Luffy." I say starting to walk away but Benn grabs my arm before picking me up.

"You are going to the doctors to get checked on." Benn says and I see Shanks picking up Luffy as well.

"You're coming too little guy." Shanks says when Luffy starts complaining. "You may be rubber but you might've been injured all the same."

"Hey Belle," Luffy starts and I hum to show I'm listening. "Was the gun you used back there the one you finished the second week you got here?"

"It was." I say and this causes the two adults carrying us to raise an eyebrow at this information.

"You can make your own guns?" Shanks asks.

"Yes I can. In fact, it is pretty simple if you can understand the basics of it." I say just as we reach the doctor's house. The doctor opens the door before Benn can even knock and lets us in.

"Set Luffy on the bed, I'll check on him first." Doc says and Shanks sets Luffy on the bed. Doc quickly gets to work and soon enough clears Luffy. "Here you go Luffy. Now why don't you go see if Makino needs help?" Doc asks after handing a sucker to Luffy.

"Okay, see you at home Belle." Luffy says before bounding out the door and he makes sure he closes it tight behind him when he leaves.

"Do you want me to send these two men out as well?" Doc asks and I shrug.

"I just don't want Luffy seeing them even though he already knows about them. If he saw them then he'd ask how I got each one and I don't want him knowing that." I say already slipping off the jacket and long sleeved shirt I wore underneath.

"Whoa some warning would be nice." Shanks says covering his eyes and I raise an eyebrow at him.

"It's not like you're a pedophile, you're not right?" I ask and Benn burst out laughing even though he's covering his eyes as well.

"Hey I'm not...." Shanks trails off when he sees all the scars that litter my front. Benn hearing his captain fall into silence looks as well and the unlit cigarette he had in his mouth falls to the ground in his surprise.

"That's a lot of scars." Benn says walking around to look at my back and I see him raise an eyebrow, probably at my tattoos that seemed to grow as I grow.

"How many do you have?" Shanks asks.

"She has thirty-six different scars on her upper body alone." Doc says.

"I have ninety-four in total but some are on top of others making it hard to see the ones underneath. You see this circular one on my left side, that's covering four other scars as well." I say and I hear all three adults gasp.

"Okay you're fine, no new ones to add to the collection." Doc says and I let out a small laugh.

"I'm not planning on adding anymore for at least a year if things go well." I say slipping my shirt and jacket back on.

"I'm surprised you've gone this long without getting a new one especially since you usually end up in explosions." Doc says putting away his supplies.

"I've got to go make a run. I'll be back in a couple of weeks." I say walking towards the door.

"Hold on," Shanks says and I stop with my hand on the door knob. "Where are you going little missy?"

"I'm heading to Paradise for a few days." I say leaving them shocked before walking out the door and making my way to the bar.

"You all good Belle?" Makino asks when she spots me.

"I'm perfectly heathy. I'm heading out on a trip. I should be back in a week or two at the latest. I'll make sure to be back before Garp gets here though." I tell her.

"Take care of yourself and don't get into any outrageous messes." Makino says giving me a hug.

"You take care of Luffy for me and tell the Red Hair's bye for me if they leave before I get back." I say and Makino nods before realizing something. "Can you also see if either Shanks or Benn can leave me a vivre card so I can visit them later on?"

"I will." Makino says looking a bit confused but she just shrugs and I leave the bar before heading to the docks. To my surprise some of the Red Hair's are still there but they're away from my boat at the moment. I climb into my boat and do a quick double check that I have what I need before setting sail.

"Stop her." I hear a voice suddenly yell and I look up to spot Shanks running towards the docks with Benn a short distance behind him.

"I'll see you guys around." I call back as I float farther out into the bay.

"You'll get yourself killed. There's no way you can handle Paradise." Shanks calls out getting ready to jump in the water and swim over here. I turn the key causing the motor to roar to life and shocking Shanks that he doesn't try to dive in right away.

"You guys might want to head out soon. Garp's due back in about two and a half weeks. Also leave a vivre card with Makino for me." I yell back at them before pushing the boat's throttle forward and taking off out of the bay at a speed much faster than the last motor Benn saw let me go.
