"We're going to warn the human world about the M.O.N.S.T.E.R.S." says Raea in an almost silent whisper.

I look at Raea. "Okay." I say, understanding that as accepting to being on this team, it is my duty.

"I-I-I understand." Lola sounded somehow a bit different when she spoke. Usually, she sounds confident, but in those two words, I could sense some fear and uncertainty.

"I will do it." El doesn't look at us. He sounds kind of like I do, I guess. Like he will risk his life to do something. I think of what Raea said a few weeks ago when we gathered our team together. Something about El being a double agent. Like Snape from Harry Potter. But then I think of Snape dying. I shiver.

I promise now that I will not let El die in the hands of M.O.N.S.T.E.R.S.

"Sadie, warn your sister. Tell her to spread the news. You live in the Midwest?" says Raea.

I nod.

"Lola, you warn your father. You live in the Northeast?"

"Yes."

"And El, your grandmother. You live in the Northwest?"

El nods ever so slightly.

"You guys will go by yourselves. I will go to the South, where my sister lives. She remembers that I am a Changer. Okay?"

"Okay." we all say, because can we really say anything other than 'okay'?

"Is everyone ready?" asks Raea.

"I'm ready." I say before any fear can cloud my head.

"Me too."

"Me too."

"Okay then! So first, I'll fly Sadie to her sister, then Lola, you'll be next, and El, I'm sorry, you're last. Right now, we are walking on the clouds. Everyone, change in to your war changers." Then Raea turns into... a tiger.

I change into a leopard, El into his fox, and Lola, into a... doe. I never knew that Lola was a doe changer.

Raea the Tiger takes off running across the clouds. I run and catch up with her. El and Lola don't run as fast, so we slow down. Eventually, Raea stops, so I do too.

She changes back into a human. "Change back, Sadie. We have to say goodbye now, I'm afraid if I go down there, people may start to wonder who I am. But you, you're Sadie, Blaire Carlyn's lost sister. People will remember you. Don't be afraid to lie."

I change back. "What do I do?"

"Wish me goodbye and jump down hard on the clouds."

I look at Raea, El, and Lola. "Good luck, El with your grandmother. Good luck, Lola, with your father. Good luck, Raea, with your sister." I look at the white, beautiful clouds I was about to leave. "Don't tell anyone, but I'm scared." I admit.

Then without looking back, I jump down hard on the swirling clouds.
