Begining
"LEXIE!" a red haired woman in a suit bellowed towards the closing door.
"Coming" a voice replied from a distance behind the door.
"He's lovely, trust me" the red haired woman said in an assuring manner to a young man and woman; both casually dressed both sporting oversized loose jumpers.
The door soon flew open.
The young pair jumped; startled at the entrance or the sight, before them the male gasped whilst the female looked on inquisitively...
Stood in the doorway was a particularly tall, slim male with jet black, pin straight and shiny hair, he also had a slight widow's peak. His skin was very pale skin and his complexion was clear; no trace of blemished, stubble or even pours. He had sharp light blue eyes, behind a heavy brow and thick black eyebrows.
"All OK?" he asked the red haired woman whilst politely looking towards her company.
"Lex', this is Connie" she said as she gestured towards the woman "and this is Logan" she gestured towards the man "they want to, interview, you" she said hesitantly as she looked towards Lexie with a curious look.
"I saw you on the 48 F.M. online blog" Lexie replayed in a fast excitable manner as he addressed the scared young man, who backed up a little and said nothing.
Lexie then turned towards the woman "Oh my gosh, and I didn't even recognise you! You changed your hair again".
He received an apparently warm smile with a fixed gaze.
"Hang on" Lexie stood straight and looked towards the red haired woman "Does this mean we won?" he asked with a sudden enthusiasm; his expression brightened up further; in which his eyes widened and his mouth took on a slight W shaped smile.
Logan looked towards Connie very briefly with a face that spelt unease and fear, whereas Connie seemed somewhat mesmerized by the excitable Lexie.
The red haired woman stepped closer to the pair "Take a seat in my office, you know, where you knocked" she said as she gestured behind them "and Lex' and I will make you both latte's" she offered.
"Oh, have you got cardamom, or tamarind" Connie asked.
"No!" the red haired woman answered sternly.
"Connie be real, how many places actually do" Logan said "Just two coconut milk stevia's for us" Logan stated with a wink.
The red haired woman looked Logan in the face and sighed. She said nothing, just took Lexie by the arm and moved him along, up the ramp and to a restaurant floor.

Lexie and the red haired woman walked side by side, linking arms.
"Lex' love, you know when you put us forward to do stuff like this, make sure Stacey's in to do the interviews" the red haired woman said with a forced and uneasy smile.
"I'll be fine" Lexie said with a big smile.
"You know you're a sweetie, but you're not the best with other" the red haired woman in a polite manner.
"But I'm manager now, so I'll have to take on stuff like this" Lexie claimed joyously.
"You got promoted to keep you in the back, away from the customers" a bartender said to the approaching pair before looking up at Lexie.
"You shut your mouth!" the red haired woman demanded.
"He knows I'm messing about, don't you Lex'?" the man stated as the pair joined him behind the bar.
"Yeah" Lexie replied as he prodded the bartender on the temple whilst passing.
"And you know it too Mazie, your lot only let him out at night to work the bar" the bartender claimed.
"'Cos he works so well under pressure and gets a good job done fast" the red haired woman; Mazie replied sweetly whilst she reached up and pinched Lexie's cheek.
"He works well in general and us day staff miss his ugly mug" the bartender said as he mimicked Mazie and pinched Lexie's other cheek.
"And he's about to work his magic and serve two yuppies, who want stuff I've never heard of, take note Rick" Mazie claimed as she moved to lean against the workspace behind her.
"No thanks, if you two are back here, then I'm off, Stacey should have been here twenty minutes ago" the bartender; Rick said.
"Where is she?" Lexie asked with a look of concern across his face.
"Probably gabbing and lost track of time" Rick claimed "I swear down Lex, since we haven't been on shift together, her slacking off's doing my nut in".
"Well it show how much Lexie does around her, you all shouldn't have been taking advantage" Mazie said.
"Like you don't. Seriously, you got this kid doing everything around the clock" Rick replied.
"I don't mind" Lexie offered attentively whilst holding up both hands.
"I know you don't Lex" Mazie said.
"You aint human that's why" Rick said with a smirk "anyway, I've been here all day and I've got beauty sleep to catch up on" he said as he began undoing his apron "unlike you Lex'".
"You're a creep Rick" Mazie said as the bartender threw his apron into a nearby cupboard in the wall.
"And you're a suck Maz'" he replied before he turned to leave "later" he said.
"Bye Rick" Lexie said with a wave.

"Lex', these drinks" Mazie enquired.
"I, think I could do them fruit presses, tropical-ish ones. Oh, and I'll add..." he offered.
"Do it!" Mazie said abruptly, cutting off his growing excitement.
"But I'll have to apologise for not getting them their lat..."
"Don't worry about it" Mazie cut in "They'll be grateful you got them something glitzy".
"And I haven't even asked them about allergies" Lexie said with a look of sudden worry; which resulted in his brow forming a high point up his forehead and his eyes widening.
Mazie grasped both his hands and held them, she looked him in the eyes and gave him a reassuring slight smile "Hopefully they choke" she replied.
"That for one would be bad for business" Lexie replied entirely deadpan.
"Lexie! Is that a quip?" Mazie asked humoursly.
"A what?" Lexie asked.
Now outside the a door with a plaque stating 'Mazie', Mazie stood with her hand at the door whilst looking to Lexie, who had two colourful, layer effect drinks in his hands.
"Lex remember; talk as little as possible, keep cool, cool like Ricky, but not cheeky like Rick, OK" Mazie said in a hushed tone.
"Yeah, yeah OK" Lexie said as he listened intently with wide eyes.
"And freeze the face" she added.
"OK" Lexie replied as the same expression remained.
"Alright! Make us proud" Mazie offered as she pushed the door open.
Some time later, Lexie raced to the bar area where Mazie and a young platinum blonde stood apparently chatting.
"You've been ages" Mazie claimed.
"I think they like us" Lexie rushed "I knew all the photo's would come in handy so I never deleted them, so I got my phone out and showed them all the drinks we do and our afternoon tea platter, then a bluetoothed them over with the descriptions I saved in the memo pad and they were so happy, 'cos it would save them time. Oh, I better show you".
The blonde looked between the two confused.
Lexie pulled a mobile phone out from the pocket in his apron, a piece of cardboard floated down towards the ground as he began searching the device.
"See now you're littering" Mazie said as she picked up the paper, which was a business card "Hope you toned down the excitable in there".
"Sorry" Lexie said as he averted his gaze from the phone to Mazie's hand, which was holding the card "Oh yeah! Connie told me to call her when she gets off work in the evening" he said casually as he took the card and refocused on his phone.
The two woman looked at one another with startled faces before both turning to face Lexie; who seemed to have completed his phone activity...
"See, this fruit punch here, I made this up..."
"Lex'!" the blonde snapped, cutting him off.
"Yeah" Lexie replied in a startled manner.
"You've pulled!" Mazie stated whilst looking surprised back and forth between the two.
"Can you believe that?" the also bemused blonde added whilst looking at the redhead, before turning back to Lexie "I think we ought to celebrate".
"Yeah, I'd say so too" Mazie agreed.
