The first person I looked for was Slikk, whom was able to see again, but not for long if the Shadow Creatures found him. He was luckily still sitting in the chair he was sitting in for the time when I was recovering from my injuries.

"Slikk, need your help, now!"

Slikk turned away from me for a moment and giggled about how I phrased it.

"Define Help."

Then he continued to giggle behind my back, probably wondering what I meant by that. Then, out of nowhere, came a howl that only one creature could ever make.

"Is that a-"

"Yes, Slikk. It's a Shadow Creature."

Slikk looked at me with complete shock, knowing that he never faced them, that he may be brave, but that he's never brave if he can't even see the monster that he needs to kill.

Us two just stood there for a moment before him getting off the chair. The chairs had butt marks from him sitting on it like a lump all day and night. Then, turning back to me he sighed and said softly.

"Ah, what the hell. I've got nothing else to live for anyways."

"Good, now let's get some weapons and find the others.

The next two people to find were John and Corami. If we find Corami, we find everyone else, and we need to have all the survivors we can get. Slikk was digging through every chest or cabinet he could find, even a handgun or machine pistol would do for him. Then, a bi bang went off. A gunshot.

More specifically, a western shotgun that was used in the fourth war by the Americans. I was never good at that topic in school, giving it was a whole century ago when the Americans even existed. Though it wasn't painful either. Meaning there was somebody else with a weapon that would most likely be John.

I jogged over towards Slikk and, as soon as I got in arms reach of him, he slammed into me with all the other rifles and machine pistols he found in the chest. Also American. He threw one over to me once I got up onto my feet.

"Take it, and keep. You're gonna need it for the big fight that's gonna go down."

"Seems there's already a fight going on in the meeting room, also where we began our training."

Then, as I turned to show Slikk the fight, another gunshot went off. Though instead of being t the Creatures in there, it went through the window toward us.

"Damn! That was close!"

I realised that the target wasn't the Creatures, but it was us.

I chose the rifle, because I'd rather have accuracy over speed. Slikk chose the machine pistol, he's impatient so I think he chose the weapon correctly. Another shot came from the roof.

"Shoot them to Hell!"

"Which ones?"

"All of 'em!"

Slikk screamed a remark that only made the gunmen more angry and the creatures more ruthless.

Then, out nowhere, again, came both John and Corami. Equipped with Assault Rifles, our time too, making it easier to use for them.

The first thing I wanted to say when I saw them was where in the hell they were at because I was stuck with Solfer and the Shadow Creatures, even with Slikk I felt alone because he's so loud I mostly try to ignore him. Even when I want to talk to somebody. Another was where they got the weapons because I would go with accuracy over speed, but both is amazing. I turned over to where John and Corami were standing, after I was going to quickly sprint towards cover near them. Sadly, it didn't go the way I wanted it to. As I turned towards John, Slikk turned to me, clutching his chest. After seeing his fighting body, his hands tightly clutching his chest, and his shocked face, told me what had just happened.

Slikk limped over to his side, slowly stopped breathing, blood oozing from his chest, and died in front of my eyes.¨No! Slikk!¨

Then John dashed over to me and screamed in my face.¨What have you done!?¨

Then, with all the strength he may have had, wasting it on trying to shake me to death.

¨John. John! Stop it! You're going to kill him!¨

John threw me to the ground with giant strength, then leaped towards Corami with a big leap.

¨Steward, what the hell is happening with John?!¨

I replied back before I blacked out, with all the strength I had left.

¨No, I've never seen him do this!¨

Then, I heard my heart, pounding inside my head. Either it was from my heart being so loud, or I just got a concussion.

Then, I blacked out.
