Ospinn: "So here you are, Rebirth Crusaders."

Spencer's team has stepped through their door as it closes behind them.

Connor: "Hi."

Dawn readies her gun.

Dawn: "Happy to see us?"

Ospinn: "Quite, actually."

Ospinn looks towards Spencer.

Ospinn: "The one with the ability to use all unique Waves."

Jeremy readies his bat as Ashley assumes an offensive stance.

Jeremy: "So?"

Ashley: "It seriously just means that your Hellfire Wave doesn't work."

Ospinn draws a pistol.

Ospinn: "That may be true, but I don't need it to win."

Ospinn cocks the gun and points it at Jeremy.

Jeremy: "We may only know about your Drain Wave, but you can't have much else!"

Ospinn readjusts his aim at Spencer.

Spencer: "What? You honestly think bullets are going to work?"

A red aura sparks around Ospinn.

Ospinn: "No. Adrenaline Wave."

Ospinn puts the gun down.

Connor: "Th-That's a new one!"

Ospinn takes a step forward, denting the floor.

Jeremy: "So it increases physical strength."

Connor begins to zip around the room.

Dawn: "It's basically diet Artist's Wave."

Dominic: "I wouldn't call it anything else."

Ospinn: "Are you done?"

The others ready for the fight.

Spencer: "As ready as we'll ever be."

Connor heads straight for Ospinn.

Ospinn: "Glad to hear it."

Ospinn catches Connor's club.

Connor: "U-Uh..."

Connor is thrown into a nearby wall.

Ashley: "Nothing we can't find a way around."

Ashley dissolves into the shadows.

Jeremy: "I'm here for crying out loud."

Ospinn walks towards Dawn.

Dawn: "Yeah sure."

Dawn fires three BB's at Ospinn's right hand, causing a little blood to seep through the Relay Gear.

Jeremy: "(awkwardly) That hurts."

Spencer: "It really is kind of Jeremy."

Dominic is beginning to activate the Artist's Wave.

Dominic: "Guys!"

Ashley appears next to Ospinn, before landing a good punch in his jaw.

Ospinn: "Not bad..."

Ospinn grabs Ashley by the wrist.

Ashley: "(struggling) What the hell?!"

Ospinn throws Ashley right next to Connor.

Jeremy: "You okay?!"

Connor: "You come here often?"

The Artist's Wave is active.

Dominic: "No time for jokes Connor!"

Ospinn's aura fades.

Ospinn: "(in head) And soon that one won't be able to come up with a one liner."

Spencer's fist is enveloped in a strange aura.

Spencer: "Iron Fist Wave!"

Spencer prepares to slam Ospinn in the gut.

Ospinn: "Zealionde had shown me everything about that."

Ospinn dodges before Spencer can land the hit before karate chopping his back and the aura fades away.

Spencer: "I should've guessed."

Spencer stumbles for a moment before getting his stance together.

Ospinn: "(in head) Another minute."

Connor begins zipping around the room again as Ashley activates Lure Wave.

Ashley: "Forgot about us?"

Ospinn: "Dispel Wave."

The effect of the Lure Wave vanishes before Connor can land an attack.

Connor: "Are you freaking kidding me?!"

Connor jumps back as Jeremy prepares a Focus Wave.

Jeremy: "Here we go!"

Jeremy fires the Wave, but barely misses.

Ospinn: "Sounds like you've been slipping with practice."

Jeremy: "(awkwardly) I've... been stuck on healing duty."

Dominic: "(awkwardly) I won't deny that."

Ospinn begins to chuckle.

Ospinn: "(chuckling) Now then, may I unveil Spencer's mask of facades?"

The fighting stops.

Spencer: "What lies?"

Ospinn turns towards Spencer.

Ospinn: "Why, you've already shown it."

Ospinn points the gun at Spencer.

Dawn: "I'm seriously try to figure out what the hell you're talking about."

Ospinn: "He shuts out the outside world and locks himself in a mental room."

Dominic: "Huh?"

Spencer: "Yeah?"

Spencer on the outside is unfazed, but inside is a different story.

Spencer: "(in head) What's he trying to do?"

Ospinn: "And by closing the door to reality, he had created a world born from a concept in his mind."

Ospinn is slowly pulling the trigger, but Spencer's legs have locked up.

Ashley: "Hey Spencer!"

Spencer: "(in head) I can't move!"

Connor's stamina is drained.

Connor: "(exhausted) I... can't..."

Ospinn: "It was fun, but your time's up."

Ospinn pulls the trigger, landing the bullet right between Spencer's eyes.

Jeremy: "I-I'll try-"

Spencer's eyes have lost their light and he begins to fall to the floor.

Ashley: "(gagging) What the actual fuck?!"

Ospinn tosses the gun to the side.

Dawn: "Did you just kill him?!"

Jeremy: "Isn't Horus going to be pissed?"

Ospinn: "No, it was his orders."

Moment of silence...

Connor: "Are you for real?"

Ospinn: "We changed plans when we discovered how difficult Creations are to change."

The room begins to break apart.

Dominic: "So you dispose of the Catalysts and keep us around?"

They've entered the realm of the Hellfire Wave.

Ospinn: "That's what we were planning."

Ospinn kicks Spencer's body to the side.

Connor: "Guess you wouldn't expect much less from the reincarnation of Adolf Hitler."

They've completely abandoned the room and now stand completely in the world of Ospinn's torture.

Ospinn: "But now comes the fun part."

The heroes begin to feel hundreds of needles skewer them.

Jeremy: "(in pain) Not again!"

Ospinn forms a deranged smile on his face.

Ospinn: "(maniacally) To torture you until you accept your fate!"

The pain transitions to being shot in the chest.

Dominic: "(in pain) You really think we'll just accept that we're just a bunch of pawns?!"

Ospinn: "(maniacally) But of course. The Progressive Wave can't possibly pull you out of this one!"

The pain feels as though their lungs are full of water.

Jeremy: "(in head) You say that now, but it always finds a way!"

The heroes are forced to suffer.

However...

Spencer is standing in a clear, hazy realm in his normal attire.

Spencer: "Why did I stop? Why did I take that bullet?"

Spencer kicks the air.

Spencer: "I only hid my mind away so reality couldn't faze me."

Spencer looks towards the ground.

Spencer: "I guess... nothing can faze me now."

Spencer takes a single step.

???: "Who are you?"

A man wearing an apron, muscular, and a scar on his face stands behind Spencer.

Spencer: "You're Matt..."

Spencer turns towards Matt.

Matt: "That didn't answer my question."

Spencer: "It's Spencer."

Matt: "Thanks."

They look around the hazy realm.

Matt: "What kind of place is this?"

Spencer: "I've got no idea, but..."

Spencer looks at the floor.

Spencer: "... I'm dead so it doesn't matter."

Matt: "Wait, you're dead?"

Spencer: "(shrugging) Ospinn shoved a bullet in my brain."

Matt: "Ospinn?! He's supposed to be in a government prison!"

Spencer: "He's with a government, but in a completely different dimension."

Awkward moment of silence...

Matt: "How?"

Spencer: "The same way the Rebirth Crusaders got stuck with me?"

Matt: "So you're telling me that those kids have been in an alternate dimension this whole time?"

Awkward moment of silence...

Spencer: "Yeah?"

Matt: "I've heard of weirder stories."

Matt looks towards the sky.

Matt: "So I guess I believe you."

Matt looks back towards Spencer.

Matt: "How did Ospinn fire a bullet into your skull?"

Spencer's fist begins to shake.

Spencer: "He took something personal and used it against me. Then when I was l=thinking about it, he sent a bullet between my eyes."

Matt: "What did he expose?"

Spencer looks to the side.

Spencer: "He abused the fact that I shut out the world around me when I was focused on our fight. I then returned to my head and was pondering the question."

Matt smacks Spencer in the face.

Spencer: "Hey!"

Matt: "You let him just hit you where you're weak?!"

Spencer: "Yeah..."

Matt: "Then why not try to make a weakness a strength?"

Spencer: "How, exactly?"

Matt puts his hand on Spencer's shoulder.

Matt: "Think of your obliviousness as a way to keep the enemy's words at bay."

Matt begins to fade.

Matt: "It may sound strange, but be clueless when the enemy tries to attack you with words."

Matt has faded away.

Spencer: "Ignore only what I need to?"

Spencer begins to fade.

Spencer: "Eh, worth a shot."

Spencer has faded away.

Meanwhile...

The heroes are still being tortured, now with the feeling of being crushed by a building.

Connor: "(in pain) When will it end?!"

Ospinn: "When you accept your position."

Ospinn laughs over the struggling heroes.

???: "(weakly) I've heard enough."

Ashley: "(weakly) Wh-What?"

Spencer gets back on his feet, looking at Ospinn with a deathly gaze.

Ospinn: "Wh-What?! There should be a bullet in your brain!"

The realm shatters as Spencer activates the Hellfire Wave himself.

Spencer: "(darkly) Yeah, you think that matters?"

Ospinn takes a step back.

Ospinn: "It's a bullet!"

Spencer's Echo appears behind him as hazy, golden air fills the area, allowing the others to get back on their feet.

Jeremy: "What the?"

Spencer: "(darkly) I won't run from the reality around me."

A gold light flashes in his Echo's eyes.

Dawn: "Whoa..."

Spencer: "(darkly) I'll put you in your place!"

Spencer has a blinding, gold light surround him.

Spencer: "Nameless Wave!"

The light envelopes the room.

Dominic: "(blinded) What kind of Wave is this?!"

A few seconds later, the light fades away.

Jeremy: "What was that?"

The heroes feel relatively unfazed, but..."

Ospinn: "I-I can't summon Hitler!"

Spencer: "That's the effect of my Nameless Wave, my unique Wave."

Ospinn's vision begins to go blurry.

Ospinn: "Wha?"

Spencer: "It allows me to temporarily erase a multitude of names from history."

Jeremy: "So you erased both Hitler and Ospinn from history!"

Spencer: "Thus, your Stream Echo powers have been sealed and with your name erased, your strength is fading fast."

Ospinn falls onto his knee.

Ospinn: "(weakly) Why are you alive?"

Spencer slowly walks up to Ospinn.

Spencer: "Because I accepted my obliviousness and made it my strength."

Spencer stops in front of Ospinn before kneeing him in the jaw.

Dawn: "Looks like your jokes have come to fruition."

Spencer slugs Ospinn with the Iron Fist Wave, draining more of Ospinn's vitality and into a wall.

Spencer: "And I'm enjoying every second of it."

Spencer walks towards Ospinn again, with Ospinn unable to move for a bit longer.

Dominic: "Let's finish this!"

The others begin moving towards Ospinn, but Spencer stops them.

Spencer: "When I give the okay."

Connor: "But that means your going to have all of the fun."

Spencer's Echo splits into thousands of pieces.

Spencer: "But you get to experience the grand finale."

Spencer glares towards Ospinn as his senses screw themselves back together.

Dawn: "I'm just going to watch."

Jeremy: "Such a shame that we still have no popcorn."

The pieces fly into Ospinn, causing a little blood to spill from each wound.

Ospinn: "(weakly) The Thousand Arrow Wave."

A massive blast of blue energy from Spencer barely flies above Ospinn.

Spencer: "There's the Guillotine Wave."

Ospinn shakily points his gun at Spencer before shooting.

Spencer: "Mafia Wave."

The bullet bounces off of him.

Ospinn: "(weakly) Are you... mocking me with the powers of my former allies?"

Ospinn is sent suddenly crashing to the ground.

Spencer: "Now you get it? There's the Gravity Wave."

A purple light flashes in Ospinn's eyes before he repeatedly slugs himself in the face.

Spencer: "Stalin, Napoleon, Ivan, Capone, Tweed, and Khan."

Spencer looks towards the others.

Spencer: "I just wanted to have him remember the people he forsake."

The purple light fades.

Ospinn: "(weakly) You..."

The hazy aura glows brighter than ever.

Connor: "Finally!"

The heroes assume positions.

Heroes: "Perfect Synergy..."

Connor speeds over before hitting a hole in one as Dominic and Spencer give everyone a boost.

Heroes: "... Quintuple..."

Dawn copies Connor and lands a sucker punch in the gut.

Heroes: "... Reborn..."

Ashley rushes over before round house kicking Ospinn and Jeremy landing a Focus Wave in the gut.

Heroes: "... Ultra Finisher!"

Spencer perfectly replicates every other attack before Ospinn drops to the ground.

Ospinn: "(weakly) Damn you..."

The aura fades as Spencer returns to his original attire.

Spencer: "Never use something like that again."

A button falls out of Ospinn's pocket and is pushed by landing on Ospinn's hand.

Ospinn: "(weakly) I'll keep that in mind."

Ospinn fades away.

Ashley: "Aaaand he got away."

The door to the other side opens.

Spencer: "You think a government wanted person wouldn't be caught quickly?"

Spencer walks towards the door.

Connor: "Sounds about right. I mean, look at us."

The others follow...
